As per my knowledge the personal loan cheque was prepared from your end but same is not accepted by me , further i had visited your andheri branch and requested for the cancellation , for this i have already paid charges of Rs 1500/- on 29/07/2011 but then also un necessary ECS of Rs 4234/- dt 05/09/2011 deducted from my account so kindly look in to this matter on serious basis and do the needfull to refund the same as earily as possible further deactivate the ECS facility as i have not accepted the Personal Loan.

I have closed my outstanding loan at FULLERTON INDIA (chennai ashok nagar branch) on 25-Aug-2011 at chennai(ashok nagar) branch. But yet to get the NOC from you. Also as discussed , you said that the loan is not YET CLOSED. That means even after 25 days after my full payment, fullerton india is saying LOAN not closed.

Sorry to say this, i may go legally soon, if i don't get response in next 24 hours.

Dear Sir,

I had taken a Home loan with vide Loan Account No.[protected] with an EMI of Rs. 6163 for 15 years at 12.5%.

I wish to close this loan account after 4 years. So I started contacting their toll free no. but seems there system is not updated every time when I call and they redirect me to the branch from where I had taken the home loan.

On June 20, 2011, we had a conversation with Mr. More at your Ghatkopar Branch office, regarding the prepayment of our home loan, we were suprised to hear the outstanding balance of Rs. 4,79,804 with prepayment charge of 4% on actual outstanding and overall 33 installments has been deducted so far. But on referring the payment chart, shows total 39 installments upto June 2011. Also in the payment chart, it is clearly written as "Prepayment Charges before 12 months is 4% and after 12 months 3%". Again, this is not justified.

By a good amount of phone calls for Address of Ghatkopar branch office, we visited your Ghatkopar branch office on 22nd June 2011 and met Mr. Rafiq, even he had a same version of amount in his system. We asked him why your systems are not updated, but he couldn't able to answer and he has given your no. for further clarification about the same. It seems like passing the buck.

With further telephonic conversations, we came to know that company had revised their interest rate and same was intimated to me in any form. My principal amount was Rs. 5,00,000/- was changed to Rs. 5,10,000/- due to this hike in interest rate (God knows how their maths work) and entire payment chart was changed on the basis of 13.5% rate again not justified and not intimated.

I landed up by paying Rs. 4,98,000.00 which is more than what I expected. I got a receipt from the FICCL and asked for the property papers. They promptly answered that the papers are in their head office which will be couriered to the branch within 15 days. But almost 2 months are over no sign of property papers.

At last I received my Home Agreement Documents from FICCL. After series of emails to Ghatkopar branch and continuous arguments with the Branch Manager Mr. Gautam Koparty the whole process ends in 5 months which can be considered to be a shameful and I am the total loser here.

The Branch Manager, Gautam Koparty itself telling me that "It is not my lookout". Then why the hell is in that post. Prompt help has been received by their subordinate Mr. More and Mr. Rafique. Because of these 2 peoples, the matter was not much escalated.

People in general are hereby advised to think twice before taking any loan from this Company.!!

i took a loan in fullerton india for the value of 1 lakh on December 2009, for which i got 92k in hand, as they deducted a huge amount of procession fees and insurance. after 20 emi i closed the loan on 22nd july 2011 for the amount of 57785/- while foreclosing the loan when i negoiatied for some interest waiver they told that it is not possible, and i paid the amount, after the foreclousre also they passed the next emi. when i asked about this they said that they ll refund the amount on 25th of august but till date they tell that the loan account was not closed. when i asked the customer care they asked me to call the branch and if call the branch they ask to call the customer care.


is there any forum to raise complaint

This is to bring to your kind attention that I had taken a personal loan([protected]) from your company on Nov 2009 for my Brother’s Marriage.I have cleared 18 EMI with an amount of Rs 81180.

At the time of Loan Disbursement,I was charged Rs 5000 as Insurance cover and was told that the Insurance company will under take the payment for 3 Months on event of me unable to pay the amount due to Financial constraint caused by job loss.This was communicated by Mr.Rajath,the Sales manager.But when I claimed the same to your Collection executive,Mr.Manu He told that its only applicable on event of death.Requesting a Clarity in this case.

I Wanted to Force close the Loan.I contacted Mr.Manu regarding this.He told that I need to Clear Rs 94,000 in case of foreclosure.I had paid Rs 81180 (18 EMIs).The Total amount for 36 Months comes to Rs 1,62,000.Howcome the Amount is higher for Force closure.Why should I Pay for the Interest for the Balance months.Please provide me the correct amount for Forclosure.

i am Sushil Chandanani, Key Account Manager, working in Abbott Healthcare Pvt.Ltd. Aurangabad.
i had applied for the Personal Loan of Rs.400000 to fullerton India & as they are charging 22% reducing charges; i decided to cancel the loan.
I had not taken the cheque & applied online for the cancellation of the cheque.
Now they are forcing me to pay Rs. 4000 (1%) of total amount to close the personal loan account which i had not taken from them as cancellation charges.
Is it justified?? what should be done in this case??
their company web site is showing there is not any charges for cancellation of P.L. before 1st EMI.

Hi,

I had taken a PL from Fullerton and have paid 8 EMI's now I want to fore close the same and have been calling the customer care numbers since last 1 month. But the moment the customer care associates hear about Fore closure they put down the call.

I went through online forums and can see that 99.9% people are facing the same problem.

Can anybody please suggest how can I have this processed smoothly?
OR I have Advocate friends who work in Credit/Loan companies; so will wait till tomorrow else will proceed for legal steps.

Hello Sir,

I have taken Personal Loan from Fullerton India of Rs. 2 Lacks in Year 2008, as agreed I was supposed t make the payments in 48 EMIS amounting Rs. 5583 Appx. and have opted for ECS facility.

Due to some undisclosed reasons the Bank did not started the ECS facility and requested for payments by Cheque. Till MID 2009 I have made payments by Cheque and in July / Aug 2009 Bank approached me to start ECS facility and got some documents signed again which I did and accordingly since then till date the EMIs are being paid via ECS and there is no single instrance of delay in payments.

They have never send me the statement, recently I requested for the statement and find that the NO of EMIs have been increased. They have Closed my loan in May 2009 and have again started the Loan in July 2009 due to change in Payment Mode from Cheque to ECS, This has resulted in increase in EMIs as per what Bank has told me.

My Pain is that why should I Pay increased No. of EMIs with No fault of Mine,
They are not govong me the statement prior to May 2009 Please Help.

Hi,
An agent working for fullerton took money ( Rs.5000 ) from me to arrange personal loan and does not respond thereafter. He is a fraud and cheat. Fullerton does not seem to be worrying about this behaviour.
I wonder how a bank could allow these agents to deal with loans. The agent name is ARJUN and his mobil is [protected].
Kindly call me in this regard and disqualify these kind of agents also help me in getting my money back.
Fullerton would definetely know about this person ( how could a bank be unaware of the agents working for their products? ).

Hi,

I took a Personal loan from Fullerton, Ernakulam Branch for Rs.65000/- I had received an amount for Rs.59000/- only in May 2009. Till this date I remitted the amout Rs.78000/- as EMI Rs.3150/-. that means I had completed the 24 installments without any delay again I have to pay Rs.52000 for closing this loan. They are taking a huge amout as interest (48 installments for Rs.59000) . It is a burden for me. From this complaint kindly take an action againt this.

I k janaki ram my pf no :46087/21684 which has been applied on December 10th 2010 and have got the email from you stating that the pf will be settled in 4 to 5 months, but after the 6 months of applied, there is no response from your side. Whenever i refer claim status, at your site, i will get Message as claim has No Records Found
Either Claim is not submitted

Claim is settled / returned before 01/01/2010. What is this mean.

Myself Ravish narang, I have taken a personal loan amounting Rs 50000 fro:m fullerton India. And due to the recession period i will not able to pay my loan at that time and now i do not live in Delhi. And the people of fullerton India are misleading with my parents and with me also... I want to repay the loan few months ago but at that time they were charging huge interest and foreclosure charges at that time so i didn't repay and now they are treating and abusing my parents and me also. I am in dilemma that my father is heart patient so please do me a favour that they will not threaten my parents as i am not living with them. I will pay it as soon as i will get funds.
