Fyon Tech Enterprise — Job offering fraud

This is Smitha from Mysore, Karnataka. I was searching for online WFH jobs. One day I got a call from FYON TECH ENTERPRISE representative and offered an form filling job. Company representative by name Rahul Sharma explained about the job role and did mention that there is no penalty need to be paid if work is not completed in time. I have cross verified many times about the penalty as there were many data entry company were looking for penalty. Then one lady has asked to share Aadhaar card soft copy on whatsapp in order to send appointment letter. I have shared this on Whatsapp. Next day I have received a mail with agreement PDF which need mobile OTP in order to open it. I opened the agreement by entering OTP and read agreement, shockingly there was a clause of penalty 5500 Rs that need to be paid if work is not completed in 7 days which is against what Rahul Sharma mentioned initially. Then I got doubt on the company and called Rahul Sharma multiple times for which he did not pick the call. I even messaged him with the query for which he did not respond. Shockingly next day I got a mail with work assignment as I have not agreed the agreement yet. Next day another lady from FYON TECH ENTERPRISE called and mentioned about the work. I rejected the work as I was not comfortable with the agreement. Then her tone of the voice changed and started demanding fine of 5500 RS for the work and over 1 lakh to terminate the work. I disconnected the call as she was not ready to listen anything and she mentioned I have already signed the agreement. Shockingly OTP which is entered before opening and reading the agreement is considered as my e-signature. How can employer get employee signature without allowing employee to read and understand the agreement. Then the next step of harassments started with legal warning mail from advocate.[protected]@ahmedabadhighcourt.in and another legal notice from [protected]@gmail.com from layer ADV. S.B.DESHMUKH (B.S.L., LL B) Ground Floor - 17, Kalpataru Colony, Vidhuti Hall Lane, Vapi Gujarat -396191. That I need to respond to the legal notice with in 7 days. Please look into this matter as this fraud will spoil many citizens of India who want to WFH during this Pandemic time.
