Credit card amount deduction with auto renewal

I have cancelled the auto subscription of gaana + in june 2019 and removed the my credit card details from app, after that in june 2020 they again taken charge from credit card without asking any credentials. And now they don't have my card details and how to taken amount from my card. They did fraud with storing my card details without my permission in there system, while details already deleted in june 2019....

      I subscribed to gaana+ in march for 3 months and on 11 june, the company auto renewed my subscription without any prior notice and according to company policy, they were suppose to mail me about auto renewal. This is totally against the customer policy and not done. Please refund my amount. Email: [protected]@gmail.com

        I am facing an issue to activate the gaana gift card for last 7 days. First i got subscription failed, then i got invalid pin number and now i am getting card temporary deactivated message.

        I connected to gaana customer service through email, but they failed to resolve the issue and blame it on amazon.

        Kindly resolve this issue.

        This was finally resolved by Amazon. Overall experience of purchasing gaana gift card from amazon and gaana customer care was not pleasant.

          I had already submitted complain once on gaana website in complain/feedback section but since there is no action i'm writing it again here.
          My original submitted message was.

          I had taken gaana subscription 3 months back. I then deleted credit card number from my gaana account assuming auto renewal won't happen, however it didn't work and i received message for auto renewal, despite i deleted/uninstalled the app long back. Also the timing of auto renewal and sms was 01:11 am, when you can hardly call bank for any clarification.
          Moreover, the same credit card was used for gaana account for id"chhabra. [protected]@gmail.com"(Kin account) and she followed the same steps to cancel auto renewal but auto renewal happens for her account too that to for rs 399.
          Again i receive the message for the same at 01:25 am.
          Frankly we are not interested in having gaana subscription any further and would like refund of my auto renewal deductions of both the accounts.
          Expecting a swift resolution.

            I had received 3 months of trial membership coupon code for gaana from paytm on march 12, 2020. I had used that coupon code from my account "[protected]@gmail.com" on gaana.

            My plan was set to auto-renew on june 9, 2020. They have an option to disable auto-renewal and i had disabled the auto-renewal option on june 5th. But they've went ahead with the auto renewal anyway! With a one year plan of rs. 399

            What was the purpose of having a button to disable auto renewal if their intention is to do an auto-renewal without my consent. Perhaps they just want to fool the customers into thinking that the auto-renewal has been cancelled so that they can go ahead an charge the card without the customer noticing! They did this at 12:22 am today morning (June 9, 2020). This is fraud! I wonder how many people they've fooled like this.

            As you can see in the attached image of the email i received yesterday night (June 8, 2020) at 11:34 pm saying my membership is expiring. Then how can they renew it without my consent a few minutes later at 12:22 am today morning on june 9, 2020?! Please, please help me get a refund. I don't need their premium music service at all.

            Their customer service agent shared an example of what a renewal notification looks like, saying I would have received one like it. It says "Your Gaana+ subscription is expiring and will be auto-renewed tomorrow."

            But the notification I received says "Your Gaana+ subscription is about to expire. Please click on the below link to renew:" Which I didn't click!

            It's clear from this that I had indeed disabled auto-renewal. And they still went ahead and renewed it and is refusing to refund my money.

            Looks like Gaana.com's new business model is to send out promo codes, lure in people and get their credit card numbers and force a subscription on us and then ask us to enjoy it by refusing to issue a refund! They're robbing people blind. Forcing a subscription of Rs. 399 on 1000 people is 4 Lakh Rupees! Disgusting!

                It's very strange "3 months back on 24th feb20 i subscribed gaana plus membership but now this time its auto renewal and an amount of 399 has been deducted from my credit card". Money transection has been taken place today 1 o'clock while gaana send otp at 3:50 am. How it's possible a deduction without otp or a transection without my knowledge. Kindly help us to refund my amount.

                  Gaana charged me 99₹ for monthly subscription without my knowledge and even cut this amount on odd hours so that even we cant reach them to cancel this. I really want refund for my this subscription and cancel the subscription right now. My account is [protected]@gmail.com and my transaction id for this subscription is

                  As requested, the auto renewal is stopped. It will reflect in your profile after 4 hours. Also, your current subscription will expire on 20th june 2020.

                      Company has auto renewed my free subscription with out any prior notice. I dont need the subscription and refund my money back. Immediately when I got the payment sms, I asked the customer care over live chat option in the app, but they dont agree to refund my money back also they dont provide me the escalation matrix.

                          I purchased subscription using flipkart coins in gaana website and it got auto renewed by mistake and just after purchasing, within 24 hours, i told them about i don't want subscription several times and asked for cancellation of the subscription and refunding the amount because i don't require the services of gaana.com as a paid user as i am a student with no source of income.                               Gaana.com deducted rs 399 from my hdfc cc account without my permission and subscribed me to it. It didn't even asked for pin/otp. I don't want to subscribe further but then also it deducted my money from my account.

                              I don't want to continue with the subscription (If any).

                              Request you to refund my money and cancel all my accounts from gaana.

                              Anything which is not clearly visible enough and it has money incurred, it can be a case of fraud.

                              I have also been charged of Rs.399 with HDFC cc. They told that I used one free coupon for 3 months and after that it is auto renewed, but during the trial peiod of time I didn't see any subscription in Google Play store and they are not cleared the process to unsubscribe it. Before the renewal also there is no intimation.

                              Clearly they are focused to pick the money from customer's pocket with knowing that customer wants their service or not.

                                I was offeed the free membership for 30 days as i am the member of airtel thanks but after expiry of the free membership period i have been charged rupees 399 for annual subscription.

                                And i don't want the annual subscription i request you to please arrange to get the same refunded refunded.

                                    I am a gaana+ user and i have paid for the subscription so i can listen to songs offline. But, whenever i download any song from the app, that particular song never gets downloaded and shows 'retry download'. I tried it again for a thousand times but still it isn't working. I even sent an email but they are not responding. Please help or refund my amount. Worst music app ever.
