[Resolved] Sabarmati Gas Limited — Illegal domestic pipeline disconnection | |||||
When I reached my home today after 3 months, the gas meter was found taken away by someone after breaking my lock in the gate. After inquiry, I could come to know that Sabarmati people have done it, in spite of information from me and neighbors. Then I found a letter dated 10/6/2013 stating to pay Rs 3358/- by 18/6/2013. When I contacted office at Mehsana they said even if there is no consumption since last 11 months, they kept on issuing the standard bill of 8 units every two months to accumulate 5 bills unpaid and then served the notice and detached the meter. Do you think it is right kind of approach towards the customer. I do not have any trace of pending 5 bills, even if not based on consumption. Rules quoted in the notice are for consumption not standard rent. In this background i would like you to inform Mehsana office to return back the meter immediately and explain me why a police complaint followed by a consumer forum application should not be processed.
