My family was looking for an alliance for my sister. We came across Gathbandhan Matrimony. On contacting them they asked for payment after which they will send us profiles of suitable matches. We provided details of my sister and they said they have n number of suitable matches that matches with her age. Mrs. Mohua Biswas of Kolkata Gathbandhan Matrimony kept calling us 1000 of times. She sent us a picture of a guy named Amitesh Chatterjee and informed us that he is interested in our profile but details can be exchanged only after we make the payment. He already being a member of gathbandhan matrimony. After convincing us we finally made a payment of 17000 rupees and got a subscription of 3 months. Finally after receiving phone number of Mr. Amitesh Chatterjee we called him up but our phone call wasn't answered. 2 days later we get a sms from him saying that he is in bangalore as his father is critically ill. We understood the matter and didn't disturb him. Days passed by and then one day on contacting him through message he said his father is no more and he is no more in a state of marriage. Meanwhile Gathbandhan didn't provide us a single profile other than Amitesh. On complaining they sent us 2 profiles. We gave a green signal from our side but got to know that the other party wasn't interested in ours. Fine. Days passed and no message from Gathbandhan. We had to literally beg them to send us more profiles as our subscription will get expired. Finally they sent us few profiles that too after reminding them every time but not a single profile was of our preference. Their staff stopped receiving our phone calls and once in a while if they did they made different excuses. Mrs Mohua Biswas left job, relationship manager has been changed and hundreds of other excuses. Meanwhile we came to know that Amitesh Chatterjee's wedding has been fixed. Within 2 months of his father's demise his wedding got fixed (bengali hindu culture doesn't allow that). This is a scam. They will show you pretty picture of alliance that doesn't actually exist and brainwash you for payment. Gathbandhan and Mrs. Mohua Biswas are part of a scam. My family got cheated by 17000 rupees.
