I purchased Panasonic AC on Ugadi, April 11th,(thursday). The agreement was to deliver the product on friday and install on Saturday. But the delivery was delayed by an day and installation still not done ( almost an week now). Worst part is, the quality of sales executives and installation technicians. The sales executive had no concern of ensuring customer satisfaction by checking whether the product was delivered and installation done. It was left with us to reach the sales executive and the installation technician to coordinate and in spite of doing that, still they did not keep up the commitment. It was really pathetic to see the customer being ill treated and taken for granted. I have decided to return the product but worst thing is, the sales person doesn't know any such policy existing.
The sales person name is Vishwa and there was none at an Manager level showed any responsibility to address the concern which is so worrying to see.

I will never recommend anyone to Girias. Their price might be few hundreds less than Viveks or Pai but my experience in the past with Pai or Viveks were much better. Not sure any thing can be done against the worst customer service of Girias.

    This is regarding BAD SERVICE from GIRIAS JP nagar Sarakki branch.. i had booked a refrigerator today 17th Feb at 2 Pm and had requested them for a delivery the same day.. The manager Arun [who doesn’t know how to handle his commitments] promised us for the same day delivery.. And he said as the transport guys have already left, he would arrange for some other means of transport and i had to pay extra 150 rupees, i even accepted for this..
    It was around 7.30 PM, when i visited the showroom again and reminded Mr Arun for the delivery, yet again he promised that he would deliver the refrigerator by 8.30 PM.. Now to my surprise i had no update on what was happening and kept calling the showroom getting no response from anyone.
    Finally somehow managed to get Mr Arun's number, and called him and he gives me lame reasons about why it is not delivered today.in specific he says the driver number is switched off and they can’t deliver it today.. i always believed GIRIAS as a group would care for their customers, with such a unfriendly response GIRIAS would lose its values and Service attitude..
    I would want you guys to seriously consider this as an issue to resolve your company policies and request you guys not to play with Customers sentiments as the goods we buy is emotionally connected to customers

    I had a similar experience. their service is absolutely pathetic, i recommend not to buy any products from Girias.

      I want to let people know of banglore to not to purchase a single product from Giriyas Investment no.276,100 ft Road indiranagar banglore, the worest service, I have ever seen in my life, they will just sell their product an never look back to u, i[censored] have any complaint, need installation, or any other services ,the employee of the store make u full by giving falls commitment on calls of solving ur problem which is never going to be sort out, so my sincere suggestion to all u out their do not even think of going to Giriyas for buying even a single panny product, I had bought an onida LCD from the shop on 5th august an its 21st of aug ,an not even a single person has visited to my place nor responding to our 100s of call, they are treating their customers like baggers, coz we have to bag them to provide us there service, any ways now we have plan to go to the consumer court for taking action against them, an I hope after my this long confection no one else going to ruin their money and time, all the best.

        I had got Sodexo Gift coupons from my company, I was forced to buy only in the selected Electronic outlet like Girias and Devi International. So i first enquired in Girias regarding an product and when i mentioned i have gift coupons they straight away told that i need to pay 8% extra amount. Then i went to Devi International there also they mentioned that i need to pay 8% extra amount on the purchase of any product using Gift coupons. I had no choice so i had to pay extra amount. But the Sodexo Gift coupon customer care mentioned that should not pay any extra amount. This is the way the Electronic outlet are cheating consumer who are buying the product by Gift coupons

          Hi all
          I bought Godrej 1.5 Ton Air conditioner from Girias Indira Nagar 100 feet road on 14/04/2012.
          While purchasing it was told that AC will be installed in 2-3 working days.
          But it is already 10th day and it is not yet installed.

          While contacting Girias by phone they don't give proper reason and just avoiding the call.
          It is very frustrating and we are very much worried why did we select Girias to buy AC.

          So please avoid buying items like AC from Girias which needs installation.

            I had bought three airconditioners from Girias Home Appliances in April 2011. The stabiliser was also bought along with the airconditioner and it had the brand name of Girias. Since April, the stabiliser has been replaced twice due to defects and the Home Appliance company is indifferent to the quality of stabilisers. The Sales staff are also discourteous in entertaining the complaints as each time the stabiliser has to be disconnected, carried to the Sales/service outlet, replacement got and thereafter the entire reconnection process has to be done. Three failures within a period of 11 months shows very poor quality control apparently.

              I had bought major appliances namely LG GR-B652YLB Refrigerator, LG WF-T8519PR Top Load Washing Machine, Godrej eon split air conditioner, LG microwave, Morphey's oven and Pigeon water filter on April 13th 2011. After the payment of the whole amount started our problems with Girias. To begin with delivery was not on the day that they had promised. Delivery of the fridge was a big mess as the delivery guys opened up the packing material when they were trying to move it in the stairs and this caused a dents in the front and the side of the fridge that I asked them to take it back with them and send em a new piece. The delivery of all the other items went on fine. But the second time they tried to deliver the fridge, the delivery guys took the packing material and the box with them. I have requested Girias several times to provide me with a packing box and they are replied ignoring my request. They also did not provide me with the keys for the fridge and again after several strong calls they have given me a key for my fridge. Likewise for the AC, the remote control is missing the lid that goes to cover the battery part. A problem with the Pigeon water filter is that, the first time I assembled the pieces at home and filled it with water, it started leaking big time. Again, I have tried talking to Girias folks several times regarding this and as usual they are ignoring my requests. I have invested close to 1.5 lacs for all these items and this is the customer care that they provide. I am very disappointed with their service and will never recommend them to anybody. I just hope teh higher officials at Girias take a note of this and start doing something about it.

                i bought a samsung refrigerator 2 days ago and they said the product delivery will be on same day .its been 2 days and the product delivery has still not happened. i have my old mother at home who cannot run after them and I am out of town for official work.                 i brought a godrej refrigerator on 28th oct the dealear told they will deliver next day morning but till now we didin't get the product. we called them more than 20times, but they r telling within 9pm they will deliver, still now is not yet done.now they r not picking the call, i am very up-set about there service. the staff also responding very bad.

                  I bought a refregirator two days back tillnow it was not delivered, i have made full payment. 1st day they said vechcle got repaired and 2nd day they said they cant deliver after 7 pm. They expect people to be at home as per their conveniance this is what i had experianced with Giriyas MArathalli Br.. Reg/Venkat

                    I Bought a Onida Washing Machine Front Loading HYDRO PLUS 55 on 29 Jan 11, at the arrival of the delivery on 30 Jan 11, i found that the box was open from the bottom, so i informed the person who came along, i was consoled that it was nothing to worry about and everything will be fine i wanted to gift to to my wife on her birthday on 26 Feb 11, until then i had not opened the machine and was in the box when i opened it i found that 1 rubber leg was missing so i contacted GIRIAS and i was informed that they will raise a complain with Onida, I also requested for a demo of the product as i was about to use it for the very first time , So the Onida Technician arrived Named Ashok, we were al set to was the first set of clothes in the guidance of the technician the water was filling and after a certain level all the water was thrown out of the machine, tried again the same thing happened, So the technician checked and found it was a defective piece
                    and informed me to contact GIRIAS for a replacement, when called GIRIAS they are refusing for replacement and asking me to contact ONIDA, i have become a football between the two.

                    Very Unhappy with GIRIAS......

                      i had to cancel a bill since my loan application got cancelled due to some reasons..... my payment was not made immediately and was asking for two, three days since owner not there etc etc... when they took the payment .. dey never thought about owner and cash payment but when repayment of money due to cancellation, new rules came in.. only cheque payment after two days after consulting with owner..... i really dont understand where are the lapses .. or are these shops really user friendly...... on the top of it they have given me a gift (cricket bat and three local cricket tennis balls)... they wanted the gift to be returned back and since the time taken from bill date and loan rejection was 6 days, we started using the gift.. now since am not able to give the bat back they are demanding Rs.600 for the same (GOD only knows wats the cost of dat local bat ......)

                      Girias, you need more professionalism and dat too in this competitive world......

                        F-39 2nd AVENUE NEAR CHINTAMANI SIGNAL
                        ANNA NAGAR EAST
                        CHENNAI 6000102 ON 15.01.2011
                        VIDE BILL NO.42205 DATED 15.01.2011, ALONG WITH ADJUSTABLE TROLLEY AND WASHING MACHINE COVER FOR RS.18,500/- AND I PAID IN FULL BY CARD.
                        THE WASHING MACHINE AND THE TROLLY WERE DELIVERED TO ME. AFTER SOME DELAY.
                        BUT THE WASHING MACHINE COVER HAS NOT BEEN DELIVERED SO FAR INSPITE OF REPEATED REMINDERS OVER TELEPHONE AND ONE PERSONAL VISIT AND A EMAIL SENT ON 07/02/2011.
                        THEY HAVE CHARGED Rs. 511.11 TOWARDS WASHING AMCHINE COVER.
                        They have not delivered the washing machine cover and also failed to refund Rs.511.11 though every time they promise that they will be delivering the washing machine cover the next day.
                        My money Rs.511.11 is with them for the past 30 days.

                          I HAVE PURCHASED PIGEON GAS STOVE WITH 4 BURNER GLASSTOP AT GIRIAS WEST TAMBARAM.AFTER TAKING TO THE HOME WE GAS GETTING LEAKED IN ONE OF THE KNOB.IMMEDITATLY WE INFORMED TO GIRAIS,THEY TOLD TO CONTACT PIGEON DEALER/SERVICE AT CHENNAI.AFTER 3DAYS THE SERVICE PERSON CAME AND HE WITNESSED THAT IT IS FLAMING HEAVILY WHEN TAKE LIGHTER CLOSE TO THE KNOB.THEN HE CHANGED SOME PARTS IN THE KNOB IT WAS OK FOR 1 DAY THEN AGAIN STARTS LEAKAGE WITH SMELL.
                          WHEN WE COMPLAINT TO GIRIAS THERE IS NO PROPER RESPONSE THEY SAYS "WE CANT HELP AND WE WILL INFORM SERVICE".THE PIGEON SERVICE THEY NOT AT ALL RESPOND IN PROPER WAY THEY SAY EVERY DAY TODAY OUR PERSON WILL COME FOR PAST 7 DAYS.
                          TILL NOW THE PROBLEM IS NOT SOLVED AND USING THE STOVE WITH GAS LEAKAGE WILL BE VERY RISKY AND WE WANT TO RETURN THE STOVE GIRIAS SAYS "'WE WILL NOT TAKE BACK AND ONCE SOLD OUR PART IS OVER SO PL,CONTACT THE PIGEON SERVICE".THIS EXPERIENCE GIVES ME NOT TO GO FOR ANY PRODUCT AT GIRIAS.

                            I have bought LG Microwave model no MS2049UW on 1st Jan 2011. But the service on delivery is very poor and the sales person M/s Aalis Franklin has given me a wrong information made me not to go with or refer GIRIAS once again

                            Am not happy with the service provided by Girias - Coimbatore x-cut road showroom manager.
                            I had purchased Samsung refrigerator and Samsung washing machine for which they had provided me a diwali gift of reebok sunglass. I got the sunglass while they deliver me the product.
                            The sunglass of reebok is a damaged one(in the glass both the glass in a different color) and we can't use this for an purpose. I called them and informed that the glass is damaged and would like to change, they told me to bring after diwali. I went last week and show them the condition and he told me in a rough voice that he can't change the glass b'cos i had come very late after diwali. I did not speak anything and i kept my sun glass there itself and came.

                            Apart from sunglass, they should provide me the gift of steam iron box for which they told me they dont have stock.

                            I will never suggest anyone to go and purchase in Girias.

                            I have purchased a Whirlpool microwave oven from Girias Malleswaram branch, Bangalore making payment on[protected]. They gave me invoice dated[protected]. Since then I visited their shop almost on a daily basis. They were saying absurd reasons like "no stock", "yet to receive item from company" etc. At the time of getting quotation they promised free home delivery within 2 days. I made several phone calls and finally the item was delivered yesterday (07/08/2014 at 10 : 45 PM !!!). Again the delivery man charged me Rs 100/- even though free delivery was promised. See how horrible service it is. I strongly recommend all my friends not to consider purchasing anything from these fellows, especially when payment is made in advance. I am thinking of giving a complaint to Whirlpool to de-list Girias from selling their items.

                              I bought LG washing machine 7239 PR from GIRIAS, Outer ring road, Bangalore on Diwali this year, 5th November 2010. I was promised by their staff Mr. Arif, that the product will be delivered by 7th November, 2010. He also took Rs. 200 cash from me against delivery charges. I have made full payment by credit card.

                              They used my money for almost 1 month, and failed to deliver the item on time as promised. Despite regular visits, every time they used to promise that they would deliver this weekend.

                              Now after almost 1 month of time, they are saying that they cannot deliver the product due to shortage of supply from LG.

                                Myself Manish Kumar was very happy when I got to know about the Diwali offers at Girias store in HRBR layout Bangalore. I rushed to Girias on Thursday (4th Nov 2010) to make this Diwali memorable by buying one Refrigerator and washing machine. I completed all the formalities and ask them to deliver it but I got the answer that its not possible today due to heavy rush and then they asked me to submit the rental agreement also.
                                On the very next day I reached at the Girias store to submit the document and they assured that it will be delivered before 4 pm today (5 Nov 2010). I kept waiting for the whole day but no news.

                                Next Day (6th Nov 2010) I tried calling them on the number they have mentioned on the bill slip but all the phone numbers are not in use and those numbers are not yet replaced with the new numbers.I searched the numbers in google and got a new number I tried that number also but no body picked up the call.

                                On 7th Nov 2010 I went again to girias Store and I was shocked that they were not aware only that they have to deliver the good at my place. later it got clarified. I also come to know that the phone number mentioned in the bill slip are also wrong and the same bills receipt have been used till date. Later Girias people informed me that they don't have the stock right now and they will deliver it Tomorrow I told them that I wont be there at home so I requested one of my friend to be there to receive the delivery . I also give his number to the customer executive and ask them to deliver the items from 8 to 9 pm tomorrow.

                                The customer executive also asked me to pay 200 Rs to the person who will deliver the items at home,however the home delivery is totally free of cost. The behavior of customer executive and another person who projected himself as a manager of that branch was very rude and unpleasant.

                                Today (8 Nov 2010) when I called up my friend about the delivery it was realized that no delivery has happenedand even he didn't receive any call from GIRIAS people. I tried calling them on the new number but no body picked up the call. My friend personally went there at 9:15pm after waiting at home till 9 pm and it was closed.
                                I am still waiting for the my Diwali presents !!

                                I would like to request every one who go to GIRIAS, that be very careful while purchasing anything from GIRIAS. They are BIG ZERO when it comes to customer service.

                                  I thought Girias Electronics is a reputed and honest shop to enter. After buying the electronics from them I got to know how cheap their business behaviour is. I bought Phillips DVD Player, before I asked the electronics dept guy who is demonstrating the electronics to the customers. I clearly told him that I'm in need of a DVD Player which plays the discs without problem and very importantly plays avi/divx media formats via USB. He said the most suitable player for this Phillips 3356/3556. After paying around 3000 bucks for the dvd player, I came home and to my surprise it doesn't play any of the dvd disc which is playing without any problem in my computer. Also, the usb feature in the dvd player doesn't even recognize the avi/divx file. I'm being cheated big time! Once Girias sold the items, they forsake the customers and link them with unknown manufactures with whom the customers were in no contact to buy the product.

                                  Don't Trust these people, find a better place to buy your electronics.

                                      I got a Samsung 5.0kg washing machine from Girias, Domlur, Bangalore, about a month back. The sale people, Mr Prasanna and Mr Uday, were keen on selling us the washing machine stand, saying it is not advisable to use the machine without the stand. Alas, when the Samsung technician came over to install the washing machine, we were told that the stand given to us is for 6.5kg machines. We went back to Girias and asked them for the correct stand, but were told it was out of stock and would get it in 2-3 days time. Its more than 3 weeks now and every time I call them, I am told that the stands are still out of stock. When I ask to be connected to the Manager, every time a new person, but not the manager, comes online and says "I am the store in-charge, please tell me your problem"!!! After explaining everything, they say "Oh we are so sorry we dint know there was such an issue, please give me exactly 2 days time to deliver the stand". Again, when I call after 2 days, same story repeats, but a new store in-charge comes and says the same thing. Wonder if all them have been given a definite set of dialogues for every situation. Last time I called them, Mr Naveen told me that Mr Prasanna was out of station and today I would definitely get the stand or the refund. But no luck. When I called them today again, and Mr Kumar, another store in-charge, says they got the stock but all the drivers have gone home, so will get it tomorrow. I have told them that if I dont get it tomorrow then I would return the washing machine.

                                      Girias was highly recommended by my dad only for its excellent service!!!! This is not the service I expected. I feel CHEATED into buying a washing machine stand that never was available with the store. And to add to it all the mental pressure, not being able to use the washing machine for a month after buying it.

                                      I would like to file cheating complaints against Mr Prasanna and Mr Uday.
