GoAir — refund april 15th, 2020 flight pnr. sejq7u | |||
Dear sir/madam, I had booked a ticket with goair for travel on april 15, 2020 (Delhi to kochi) for an event scheduled in kochi. But once the lockdown was imposed, they had sent several emails and notifications stating that my ticket will remain protected and need not be cancelled as it can be used for future purposes. Even for calls regarding refund, their executives would consistently insist not to cancel. Upon trusting them, i remained to see how the situation would unfold, only to know that the lockdown was further extended, due to which the event i was scheduled to participate in, was completely called off. Extending the tickets now will be of no use to me whatsoever as i am not a frequent air traveller and this was a one time affair. I had then sent several emails to goair and an appeal to the nodal officer and the appellate authority of goair, all of which were ignored by the company. So far, no response has been received from their end, apart from an auto-generated acknowledgement, each time i send a reminder. I must have made atleast 70 attempts to call and have sent countless emails by now, and i'm deeply disappointed that the trust i bestowed upon the company was not reciprocated when i was in need of assistance.
