I had booked an Air ticket from Delhi to Leh for 26 May 2020 and return Leh to Delhi for 30 May 2020, on 17 Mar 2020, for self & wife. The flight got cancelled in view of Covid 19 Restrictions by the Govt, however in-spite of multiple Emails to the company my claim for a refund of my amount is yet to be settled by them since last five years. Unable to understand what to do and whom to approach. would be grateful if someone could help...

I have booked my flight ticket from MakeMyTrip. The Airline was GoAir also known as Go First and the legal name is Go Airlines (India) Private Limited.

This Airline went operational shutdown. All the booking done in May 2023 got cancelled.

There are so many people including me struggling for refund. It's been more than 2 years and neither MakeMyTrip nor GoAir responding properly. Infact MakeMyTrip stopped showing that cancelled ticket in the app. When I ask MakeMyTrip customer service, it says unable to retrieve data. Also, the GoAir website is down since long as not able to check with Airlines for claim or refund process.

This looks like one of the biggest fraud lead by the GoAir Airlines and the involving parties like MakeMyTrip and many other major flight booking providers. Also, I feel the involvement of DGCA and NCLT as they are intentionally stretching the matter.

I am never gonna leave this. I will fight untill I get my refund and will keep socially influencing this matter.

Attaching some evidence which may justify my matter truly.

I booked ticket of GoAir in 2023 and the flight got cancelled due to bankruptcy of company but after 2 years and many complaints, I have not got money refunded.

This is to bring to your notice that its been 1.10 Years following up for my refund from GO AIR which was cancelled by them at last moment for flight dated 13MAY 2023, Patna -Bangalore-PNR-ACWY4K
The airline cancelled the flight and informed me on 9th may2023 without giving an alternate option for another flight, they simply cancelled the flight at last moment.
And here i am 1.10 years later still following up for refund of...

I had booked flight tickets on GoAir flight through Makemytrip.com. I have 3 PNR that were cancelled just 3 days before the travel date. last-minute cancellation caused a lot of inconvenience to me. I had to pay almost 12000 rs to book my ticket at the last minute. I have not received the refund so far for these PNRs. I have contacted GoAir and Makemytrip many times, but there has been no proper response.

Please help to process the refund immediately as this has caused me a lot of trouble financially already.

I had booked my family's (7 passengers) with following flight details on 19/Apr/23 via www.Happyfares.com and paid full amount with reference no.: HBB86QLE:

1. Delhi to Srinagar on 28/May/23 with PNR no. O8PNMM (Cost - ₹43, 820)
2. Srinagar to Delhi on 02/June/23 with PNR no. AYHV5Q (Cost - ₹36, 750)

However, GoAir Airline had cancelled our flights due to their financial crisis and so I have requested for refund on 25/May/2023 itself to Happyfares.com customer care. They have initiated the refund request but till now I have not received any refund.
Due to flight cancellation, I had cancelled my Hotel bookings at Srinagar hotel for which I didn't receive any refund as well due to late cancellation.

There is a big financial loss (₹ 80, 570) & too much mental stress I 'm having due to this.
It's more than a year now but still no one is hearing my complaint about refund.
Kindly help to get my refund for Airline cancelled flight.
Do let me know in case any additional info is required to get my refund. Thanks!

I booked two flights on go air. 1 is from pune to banglore and other are 4 tickets from banglorr to kochi on april 23, 2023. all worth 11, 000 rs. all flights got cancelled in may first week due to bankrupcy of company. they said i will get my refund in one week in first few months. it has been almost one year and still i didn't get a single penny. such a unprofessional behaviour from a low standard company.

On 9th May, I received a confirmation from Go First stating that the applicable refund is under process.
I have diligently followed up with Easemytrip.com multiple times over the phone, and each time, they assure me that they are following up with the airlines.
However, I have not received any email or message updating me on the progress or providing a timeline for the refund.
Despite their promises, I am still in the dark about the status of my refund.
I have incurred a significant financial loss due to purchasing alternative flight tickets for my family.
Moreover, I am unable to contact the airlines directly for clarification or resolution.
I kindly request your intervention to investigate this matter and guide me on the steps to secure my refund. Your assistance in this regard is crucial, and I appreciate your prompt attention to resolving this issue.

the flight was for 2nd may.
i booked goair flight from flipkart travel.
and on the day of journey i got message that flight got cancelled due to technical error from flight side.
they told me that i ll get full refund .
it's very frustrating that on the day of journey all plans and travel got cancelled. there may be some emergency so we booked flight.

I had booked a flight from Goa to Mumbai in first week of May, 2023. I have received email from Goair stating that refund will be issued to original source. The tickets were booked through cleartrip and so far i have checked with them and written several mails to GoAir, however no refund has been issued till date.
