GoAir — refund not initiated | |||
Hi, We had boarded mumbai leh flight on 25th june, 2019 (G8-386; pnr:q77g4z) and because of bad weather it got diverted to srinagar and could not reach leh. We were stranded in the airplane for 5-6 hours with no food or water facilities provided on behalf of the airlines. Now the management comes and promises that entire amount will be refunded as we could not land in leh and to not wait for next flight to get adjusted in as there is no guarantee of weather improving. We trust them and instead of bothering anyone more bear the extra cost of travelling from srinagar to leh, staying at a place at our own cost in kargil, wasting our entire booking amount of that night booked in leh. We have never claimed compensation for all this extra cost, but constantly tweeted and emailed for the refund that was committed. Shabir parray an executive at srinagar airport collected our boarding passes and asked to trust that in 5 working days the amount will get refunded. Why is the airlines not having basic courtesy to reply and putting lies and false claims in the email that the staff was supportive, the air-hostess was rude even to provide water and had become some kind of sales-person to achieve maximum sales in the flight. I have received a reply from the Nodal Officer @ Goa Air via AirSewa.gov.in, the refund stands declined. How are you fairing on this grounds ? Do you know of any passenger who have met with the same faith as ours and have an issue with refunds ?
