Hello, Godrej team.
I am really disappointed and feeling that I have made a wrong decision with my purchase of Godrej product.
Background:
I have made a purchase of 40k Godrej Dishwasher product (attached is the copy of bill) on "29.12.2020". Installation team of 3 members reached to my place and completed the installation process. Dishwasher was properly working for few weeks properly and after some issue started coming like some time inside noise was coming and some time front button light starts blinking. I have ignored these issue, since it was happening sometimes only.
Current Issue:
On Aug 28 I have raised a complaint # - C[protected] in Godrej care that this Dishwasher is having huge leakage problem and water is coming from bottom of machine. Two days after raising complaint, I have received call from Technician (Chandran - [protected]) and he visited home and was not able to find the issue, then after 3 days another visit Chandran makes with one of his superior and both are not able to find the issue. Now as of Sept 5, they both had again made the visit which is again not fruitful and they are not able to find the issue.
Chandran provided his manager number (Senthil - [protected]) and told me to talk to him since they are not able to provide any solution. I had chat with Senthil and requested him that please provide the replacement of this Dishwasher, since it is only 15-16 months old and it started having issue.
Sethil provide me his boss number (Naveen - [protected]), and told me talk to him after 7 pm, since he is in some meeting. I tried reaching him couple of time after 7 pm and at-last late night 10 pm we connected, he picked my phone. I have informed all the issue to him and requested him to provide me replacement of this Dishwasher.
Mr. Naveen response - "Sir i will not make any replacement, since your Dishwasher is out of warranty and i will send someone who will look into this issue." He mentioned that If i raise any issue or try to reach people above him then those complaints also will not work, so its of no use."
I have few questions:
1. Does Godrej make products which is valuable till its warranty period and after that this is kind of support and customer service should we expect?
2. Does Mr. Naveen own's Godrej organization, as I am feeling the way he talked to me over phone?
My Options:
1. Raise a complaint in consumer court and use public forums to orchestrate this issue.
2. Should I just throw this machine in some of my friends shop in display, where I can set example of how the quality product Godrej is making.
3. Go buy Dishwasher of another company like Bosch.
Expecting replacement or refund of this product as I am not willing to use this repaired product.
