I had a cab booked (Booking id carpafeh7hbvi97) well in advance in july from mumbai to mahabaleshwar for 26th september 7am as departure date and time. I didn't get cab and driver details till 5 am, further after number of follow-up there was a mere assurance that my cab is confirmed. At 7.30 am i get to know that that goibibo is unable to arrange the cab & that i should arrange by my own. This resulted in a huge financial loss as well as inconvince. I had to book cab from mmt which costed me 5350 and i reached at the destination at 9 pm instead of planned 2 pm wasting my half day of hotel. For such inconvince and financial loss, goibibo is compensating just for inr 814, which is not ethical and unacceptable at all. Just the mmt cab that i booked at the very end moment costed me inr 5, 312 (Inr 2, 300 extra) + half day wasted and the end moment inconvenience.
I am following up almost every day via mail, call center and chat, and the way their call and chat ivr responds, it is extremely time consuming and difficult to connect with them. Now it's been 9 days now and i have not got any resolution nor any compensation refund from their side. Everyday they give the commitment that in next 24 hours i will get proper resolution and such drama is going on since last 9 days. As requested by them i have also provided them with my bank details where they can deposit the compensation, but there is no action taken nor any reply / confirmation on the same. It's high time now and i would expect you to kindly intervene in the matter and provide me a resolution.
