Updated by lvjoshi I have not received any response from goibibo customer care. If the ticket is not cancelled within 3 days, my penalties will increase.
Here is the detail of the reservation : flight tickets for family of 6, to and from Hyderabad to Varanasi.
Booking ID: GOFLDNTSMAJ41AMZ1877
Name of the person who booked and paid for tickets: Laxmikant Joshi
PLease help, customer service from goibibo is non-existent. I am not sure how they are able to run this business internationally with no customer service at all. Its a hard lesson for me.
It does not even let me a create without a India mobile number.
I did recieve inital message confirming my booking on my USA number through whatsapp. When I send messages through that number it says it is not monitored and it gives a link directing to website. Website does not have any email address or contact details.
I googled the email address and contact number. When I email to the email address [protected]@ibibo.com I got the following message
Dear Customer,
This email ID is only used for sending out auto-replies to you, and is not monitored by us.
If you have any query regarding your booking, please visit the My Trips page on our app or website. Or, simply click here: https://www.goibibo.com/
website it does not let me create an account from the USA phone number that I originally booked the tickets... What to do ? whom to contact. I am clueless. Amount is huge. Airlines is unable to cancel, it says refer to the agent who booked the tickets.

Updated by lvjoshi After repeated efforts I was able to get hold of customer service. The only way it works is my USA mobile which was used to book the tickets should be the same to call them. So, I purchased an international calling plan on my mobile number, and my call went through. If I use any other phone, the call does not even go beyond the automated call assistant.
