[Resolved]  Chief Electoral Officer, Delhi — No update on Voter ID card

My Application ID is 2361115, name Saurabh Chawla s/o Mr. Naresh Chawla. i had applied for Voter ID card Online on 19th of January 2013, and upon calling the Chief Electoral Office in February, i was told that my file would move further after 1-1.5 months of Application Date. I received a phone call in the mid week of April that a person will come and collect my documents today, to which the person came, named Amit, and collected my documents, took signatures and did all the formalities. When i asked him that when can i expect my Voter ID card, he said within that week it would be dispatched and i'l get it this month, which i didn't. On checking the Application Status on website, it showed 'Pending for AERO approval' since March, till now.

I made a call to the helpline number again about the status on 2nd of May, they, without even knowing my Application ID told me that my card would be dispatched in the end of May as it is their process of dispatching all the cards at once, i dont know what he meant by that. and now its 28th of May, the status still shows Pending for AERO Approval.

When i called them today, they told me to call up Bawana office, where i've been trying for hours but nobody picks up.

My question is:
1) How much time does it actually take to get a Voter ID card?
2) Where are my documents?
3) Why is it taking so much time?

Need a revert back on this.
