Dear sir,
i am veerabhadra sastry, bhavani aparts-2, b.s.layout, seetammadara.In our area, there is black ash particles in air which is giving severe health affects to us.Children are frequently hospitalising. Even if we open doors in this summer, carbon particles are depositing on the floor in our house and observed black ash to our foot.please take necessary solution to prevent this pollution and we will be inpart of clean visakhapatnam.

Vizag is going to be smart city in making and best example of how all rules are broken by government as well as it's officers.

Few days back there was a survey conducted where beautification of vizag beach road was prioritized against several other activities, to give a boost to image of visakhapatnam as well as draw tourism attention.

Now under the nose of gvmc this vendor who has got on long term lease the green belt land for carrying commercial activities in the name of bay fashion, silver spoon restaurant & new ice cream parlour is just gradually making permanent structures all around the area. Infact several reminders from resident to gvmc authorities and building inspectors got un-noticed and this person kept on building, building and making live of all residents worst by stocking all garbage at the lane behind.

Anyways, there are only few places left around our lives to be called as green and such act which looks permissible by gvmc are very discouraging.

Through this forum we residents of ocean view layout immediate seek a relief from gvmc as they have already broken the norms by allocating green belt land to vendors for revenue purpose, leaving several other revenue opportunities.

Gvmc on same land constructed toilets, substations and now this vendor who got special privileges from gvmc. Other vendors who are leased the land on beach road have not such preference then why this vendor?

High court of andhra pradesh have already gave strict warning to gvmc earlier for not using green belt for any construction activities.

GVMC visakhapatnam, VUDA, all are government bodies and whether it becomes a Vizag as a SMART City still governments' functioning and control over mis-use is very prominent and questions very nature of responsibility and accountability by these authorities.

Can we afford to do same in a private jobs then why as a tax payers we do not get proper services from government??

We the residents of VV Nagar of Ward No:71 suffer so much due to lack of drainage nor the drainage outlet for the sewage water to let out.Consequently sewage water is stagnated in front of the houses causing lot of health hazards such as Malaria &Typhoid.We represented n number of times to GVMC Commissioner &the Zonal Commissioner but no action has been taken so far.
Therefore, we request you to kindly attend to the problem at the earliest&help us live healthy life.

Hi,

This is to bring to your notice that the site next to our house in Rushikonda has been filled with sewage water released from krishna Towers since a year.We tried to lodge several complaints regarding the same both personally and online to the Municipal Corporation but no action has yet been taken. They sprayed insecticide few times but the larvae are not killed which could still lead to growth of mosquitoes.we request for a permanent solution.This is extremely polluted water which is also a public health threat.It is also a breeding ground for mosquites and flies that are carriers of many diseases.Please find the pictures shown below to visualise the situation.Ever since we constructed our house, we were unable to open our bedroom windows because of the bad smell and filthy look.We are looking forward for a resolution of the above issue soon and enjoy the summmer breeze through our windows!!!

The following was first published in December 2015 by me.
How safe is our drinking water?
I welcome the article in today's news paper on this issue(3rd December 2015). I request the authorities to focus on drinking water suppliers including GVMC. If any one opens GVMC portal you will see the water analysis report of Sewage plants but not the potable water that is being supplied. There are so many drinking water packed sellers in the state, but none of them display the basic details like TDS, PH etc which is compulsory in any country out side India. Yet times I feel sorry for some one who drinks a polythene sack of water in the street corner with so much confidence, though the quality is not assured even by its manufacturer.
Finally, I would like to point out, after the state division no reliable water testing facilities are available in private sector in and around Visakhapatnam. Full pledged facility for base metals testing is in great demand in this part of AP.

Happy to know from the news media (D.Chronicle 20th Feb16) that GVMC is planning to form a special squad to keep vigil on Water Manufacturers in the City. While appreciating this move of GVMC and request the authorities to keep acceptable Water standards in their Web site for public awareness.

This road Occupancy (Baddy) shops at the Drainage way
Mechanic Shop, Chiken Centers, Pan Shops etc..
But public faced the Traffic problem
Please remove that shops, salved problem

Sir, in ward no11, Seethammadhara near Gurudwars heavy Dumper Bin is placed at a very close proximity of houses bearing no 50-50-14/10 and this is causing lot of sanitation oriented health hazards to the in dwellers of this house with continuous stinking smell emitted from the bins causing untold misery to the occupants of his particular door no. This is an alarming situation to the residents of the street as dumping of huge wastage from in around areas is a regular havoc. In view of the serious health damage, I am requesting authorities of GVMC to immediately relocate the dust bin from this narrow street to another area where there is no close proximity of residences as GVMC s top priority is improving health safeguard of the residents. This may please be given top priority viewing the alarming situation of the small street bearing the brunt of the dustbin

Sir we unable to travel from anadapuram to boni because of the road is beaked and spoiled. To travel 5 km of distance nearly taking 30 minutes of time. The night time travelling int this road is very problematic and people are effecting by accidents. We are complained to village penchants of surrendering villages but they replied that this road is under GVMC premises so they can't help. Either sourrender this road to R&B or make it as proper. The traffic of road is very high and this road is constructed according to 1980th year traffic, but nowadays the traffic is become 20 times of 1980 year. But road is not developed as expected. Please consider this proposal as a serious and make justice as people expected. Thanks, Sankar

AS already complained in advance on9-9-2015, exactly same thing happened.On 11th sept morning the contractor dug out in front of my ouse at 8am, after promosing he will fill it back so that my vehcle moment is not obstructed.He did nohting/He partly filled some areas and diapperared.The night rain played havoc, what all he filled in part sank down. Now neither I can take out my car nor scooter. I am 76 years old, I am in virtual house arrest confined to my house. Will you please ensue that all the ditche in front of my house is filled up so that I can take out my car. I have applied for a new tap connection on 19th March bearing Application number : 2015-ENG-2-0105, Referred to ME-ZONE-2 in the locality Pitapuram Colony, with door number 9-41-22/5 . Till now the my connection is pending for approval where I have paid all the respective connection charges as well.I have connected with the concerned DGM of my division but they said that they are going to send respective person to complete the work but so far no one is able to take my file forward. Am a resident of Door No.8-48-3/2, Old CBI Down, 2nd Left Lane, China Waltair Visakhapatnam-530 017. The area in front of my residence has become a dumping place for garbage of the entire street for the past several months and my Innumerable complaints for removal of garbage regularly and to place a dust bin have gone in vain. The garbage being removed and dumped and has become a big menace and emitting foul smell and breeding place of mosquitoes. Several complaints by me through the help line number[protected] and mails and SMS through my mobile and on line complaints have not yielded any result. My repeated requests to the health Inspector Sri Srinivas (On his Mobile Number [protected]) through phone went on a deaf ear. The latest complaint number is 42391 and for instance I am furnishing the earlier complaint numbers:44776 dt.[protected], 23007 dt.[protected] and online complaint numbers:2014-ADM-03571, 03611, 03640, 03665, 04848, 04849 (dt.[protected]. The garbage is being cleared not even once in a week resulting in much misery to the residents. Kindly order for regular clearing of garbage and immediate replacing of the dust bin in this area. Today[protected]I also I sent a request SMS to the Zonal Commissioner through my mobile and I received the message that the complaint has been forwarded to the concerned. The Swine Flu is spreading very fast and hence urgent action of clearing the garbage is highly essential

VUDA PARK is one of the major tourist attractions in Vizag and is spread in several acres of land. Daily people ranging from local, tourist, lovers, kids and women, patients visit in hundreds if not thousands to have some peace of mind. In this VUDA park TOILETS ARE NOT IN WORKING CONDITION. My son 7 yrs and daughter 9yrs learning skating in the rinks provided at VUDA park are often puzzled and are questioning frequently where are the toilets in the park. Seeing their difficult situation one day when I asked them to Urinate in the open area they refused to do so as they are inspired to that level by the Swachh Bharat campaign thanks to the Cochi Refinery School for making the young kids understand the concept, who are the future of our country and Thanks to Modi ji. I sincerly request honourable Praveen Kumar ji, Commissioner of GVMC to kindly look into and make the toilets available to the public.

GVMC,

To my knowledge of vizag from long time, Vizag is being honored with the best services of Municipal commissioners and many of they have left from vizag leaving their inspirational services in the city which is the result of continues growth of the city and happiness of the people living in vizag. The recent developments took place in the city even in remote areas, where there was no development / improvement from long time forcing us to hope for the best we can live with. Regarding Swatch Bharat, Your contribution is inspiration to many individuals and in many areas your team is also doing a fabulous job.

Here i would like to share one the problem needs to be resolved in our area at Madhurawada / PM palem / Visakhapatnam. Here we do not have proper Drainage system in most of the areas even though roads are developed. At the same time municipal dust bins are not available / even there is no garbage collection from municipality in most of the areas. due to which collection/ Accumulation o[censored]nwanted material in the form of garbage / polluted water so as mosquitoes / pigs /causing diseases. There needs to be frequent visits to these areas by the concern departments which we feel lacking.

So I request you to take initiative from your side make the concerned authorities to be aware of the situation. We have tried to reach / contact authorities but failed. Hence we are looking forward for your action in this regards to push Swatch Bharat one step ahead.

Sir, We are happy and thankful to GVMC to see the Vizag city glow with new LED street lights soon after the cyclone. But I am sorry to complain that they have not installed any light on Pole No. 18/B4/1, Koyya street, Near D.No. 8-8-4, China Waltair, Ward- 17, Zone- II. Our street is narrow and is in complete darkness. Please provide the street light at the earliest for which we will be highly grateful to you. Also there is no light near the SFS church on the main road and one street light nearby is also flickering due to some problem ...Srinivas

I am resident of ward no.63, Seetharam nagar, gajuwaka..d.no.12-7-1

GVMVGajuwaka municipality workers ( Schwenger and sweepers) named APPA RAO and team not collecting garages from our home and not cleaning drainages in front of house since 1month .

When we asked to clean he is demanding for Rs 50 everytime (daily), even though he is
collecting Rs 50 per month from us. Because of this lot of mosquitoes are coming inside and it is stinking (Smell) lot in the street.
Appa rao GVMC gajuwaka municipality worker misbehaving with women ( windows, old people..) like shouting and giving warning to them as he will pour garbages inside the house.

He is cleaning drainages on other sides and pushing garbages on my house side…. And on the HUdhud Debris…

Please take immediate action on Appa rao

We the residents of Sagarnagar are suffering immensly due to roads which were dug up 2 years ago for underground drainage lining. Although the lining work is over roads thus dug up have been left un attended The pot hols thus left are worst and one cannot walk comfortably on these streets. Street dogs have been multiplied in this area These dogs dis mental all the garbage and spread it on the roads emanating foul smell all over. Another problem is, wastage of filtered drinking water which over flows from many houses which are let out to schools and offices in this area GVMC should fix water meters immediately.p
