Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation [GVMC] Complaints & Reviews

The street lights near my house are not burning from many days. Authorities notready to take complaint without hard copy of adhar which we are not ready give as it is not mandatory. So here i am reporting a complaint so that it can be checked. Its really dark and we are feeling unsafe in here. We could not even walk near here because there are many dogs. Please resolve this as soon as possible.

Dear Sir/Madam,
On behalf of Royal KGR, Block 2 residents association, i am here by writing a complaint and requesting your kind offices to allocate concern department to control street dogs which are life threatening for kids and elderly people for these days. Since 2months the population of street dogs became significantly increase and they are roaming near by areas without any control.

Moreover during evening and night times these dog acts are endangering the situation and trying to attack on Kids and elderly people frequently. Along with this the dogs are entering in the cellars, corridors and damaging properties like bike seat covers and other domestic items. We have made all possible arrangements like security, frequently patrolling by them etc, but the situation is not coming under our control.
So in this regard we are placing a humble request to arrange concern department and employees to catch these dogs and to protect these kids and elderly people before any major or uncontrolled incident will happen.
Kindly foreseen highly alarming situation and arrange necessary resources to control the situation.

The street lights near my house are not burning from so long. As we expected someone to come and repair, but none of them came. So here i am reporting a complaint so that it can be checked. its really dark and we are feeling unsafe in here. We could not even walk near here because there are many dogs and pigs too. We don't which one of the animal or person would suddenly come in front o[censored]s. Please resolve this as soon as possible.

More Street dogs are living in gajuwaka area and dog bites are more in this area .chinagantyada please take the action in street dogs

This is to bring to your kind notice that the GVMC hired contractors have dug the 10 feet road with the help of JCB in the month of Feb/March’23 for under-drainage work, at which my house is existing along with other three individual houses & one group house (Simhadri Residency).

While doing the above works, the drain out-lets which are connected from my house to the outside drainage canal were fully damaged due to which the used water is not flowing into the above three outlets to outside drainage. Today some workers have attended to clear the debris to cover the holes and complete the road. I have re-ported to them and to their notice of the above problem, and requested them to repair the above three outlets before doing the road work. However, they said that we are not concerned to rectify the same.

It is requested to look into the issue immediately and arrange to depute staff to rectify the three outlets as the workers are rushed to complete the road filling work.

Please kindly arrange some team to rectify the above problem immediately.

A tree branch was fall down 10 days back. It was just thrown a side of road and kept it as it is. Please throughing their house waste on it now.

Dear sir,

Please take a note that there are so many street dogs in our locality and it is 10 to 15 dogs attacking at one’s. These dogs bark and chase the people who cross that area, especially “Children and women” and two wheeler riders.

These dogs are scaring the children very much and sometimes biting them even. Generally, these dogs you can see lying on the roads and they creates mid night time so much noise and they make their victim the entire people who pass from them.

People are unable to go out from house during night times. Our children are very afraid of these dogs. couple of times dogs attacked to our area children & old age peoples.

These dogs bark and chase the people who cross that area, especially “children’s and women’s”. These dogs are scaring the children very much .

So this is my humble request to you to please pay attention on my letter and send immediately dog catcher team to our area to catch these dogs.

Dear Commissioner,

This is to complaint that in our area there are a lot of street dogs and they are barking at people. These dogs are scaring the children. They are many dogs in this area and they are coming into our houses by climbing the walls.

So, this is my humble request you to please pay attention on my request and send animal controller team to our area to catch these dogs.

I know most of the complaints are ignored and no one cares about these issues. But with present government and officials got a little hope that they will help people like us. It's the only reason I am writing this complaint with hope you will look into it. As water is a basic necessity and people will remember this while voting in elections.

I am a resident of Rajeev gruha kalpa colony, Marikavalasa, madhurwada, Visakhapatnam-530048. Our colony consist s of nearly 6400 houses and nearly 15000+ people living. Our source of water supply both( drinking and usage) is through the water that GVMC releases from 6am to 6:45am which is very very less time for 15000+ people. The water operator(one who opens water) is also taking money from people if they ask to keep water open for 10 min extra. It is becoming very hard for us to survive with very low amount of water supply. In summers I can't even describe our situation. Please take action on water supplying man and give us atleast more than 1 hour of water supply.

23.01.2023 complaint number is still not solved attended.

There are no street lights in our area. Even if there they rarely work. I complained about this on 20th Jan. No one worked on it. Only garbage was cleaned.

I complained about the same on 20th Jan, it was rectified in 1 week. Again the same story. No one has cleaned from that week to till date. Pls check with other houses and do the needful.

Same with mosquito repellent sprayer.

This is the location

Our building is located in Sarada street, Dabagardens. A very big peepal tree is grown on road side in front of our house outside compound wall. The branches of the tree have spread into our compound and balconies.
The roots of the tree have penetrated into our soil and our bore well. Our bore well is now irreparable. We are afraid the roots may damage foundation of our building. Our building is in danger because of the huge tree.
The roots may cause damage to municipal water pipes and underground drainage.
Hence I request the authorities to take action to remove the tree to avoid further damage to our property.
