With reference to the notice dated 2.2.22 from GVMC.
It is pertaining to our shop at Vizag towers building, Asilmetta. with a plinth area of about 500sft.
My objections.
1. Unauthorized construction penalty: Rs.312 - How?, Why? Not acceptable.
2. Land size is taken as 56.36 sq. yds. (=500 sft). But it is just one shop in a 5-floor building.
So my undivided share will be much less.
3. The calculation of the Building area is also wrong. There is no cellar or any residence area belonging to me in that building.
Hence this total calculation is incorrect and hence not acceptable.
4. The decision of calculating on the basis of Asset value is also not acceptable. Hence objectionable.
5. I have already paid the property tax as per the prevailing rate in April 2021 for the entire FY 2021-22.
How can this be levied with retrospective effect from April 2021?
Please let me know your views on this matter and plan of action accordingly.
