On 06/10/2019, i went to replace my old chain to the new jewel in grt jewellers at tambaram sanitorium branch, first weighted 24.540 gm after they melted and weighed it as 22.380 gm, they steal 2.16 gms. They valued in 916 k rate instead of 24 k rate. But after melted weight loss may not more than 500 mg.
I seriously doubted they made jewellery 24k purity, but valued in 916k rate
