Grt Jewellers — Product not delivered which is ordered on Feb month

I have ordered a chain (Order No OR2020J2927) on Feb 09th at GRT Jewellery Mepz Tambaram branch. The due delivery date is supposed to be by March 09, way before to our COVID lockdowns. I am trying to track about the chain and whereabouts since March 01st but no proper response. They are just passing days saying that it's still under making. Few days before I got a call saying that "Please come to the shop and get a new chain". When we inquired about our ordered chain, they are telling that they cant say when will it be delivered?? So it's better you get a new model. If they are so larthegic on a customer's order, they shouldn't have accepted the order itself.

We paid advance money close to 80% for the chain and they are giving silly responses..

Let me ask GRT, can we get a product and can we give excuses like this on paying money ?
You can't be so irresponsible with your customer orders. Just getting brand name is not enough, the trust the customers have on you must be maintained.

P.S Let me clarify that COVID pandemic cannot be the reason for delaying in the delivery, because we ordered in the month of feb and our due is on Mar 09th.
