I am contacting you regarding an issue I am having with obtaining an accurate transcript of my past marks from my former University.
I submitted an online request on March 27th, 2022, for the duplicate and English versions of my Detail Mark Cards for B.com1st, 2nd, 2nd yr compartment, and 3rd year. I had lost my DMC for the 1st and 2nd years but still, have my degree and final year DMC in my possession. My DMC for the last year shows that I have 786 as the total for the 1st and 2nd year and a total of 1186. However, when I submitted the request to provide me with a duplicate English version for the three years, the University asked for a copy of the degree. I scanned and submitted a copy of the degree, and after receiving it, they stated that my registration number was incorrectly written on the degree. I ended up paying Rs1416 as a result of the clerical mistake by the University.
Afterward, although I submitted a request with all the required documents, I kept getting multiple emails from the University stating that something was still missing. They also claimed that I had not made all the required payments even though I had, to which I submitted the proof of payment for the amount of Rs6327. In the end, after complaining to their department and enduring a three-month wait, on July 11th, they finally sent me my DMC for the 1st year, 2nd year, and 2nd year compartment but not for my final year. Unfortunately, after all the delays and issues, these documents I received were incorrect.
According to the University, I scored less for the first two years than what it is showing on my final year's DMC. The University wants me to submit my final year's DMC and Degree to them to get revised documents.
I have attached all the documents for your reference. Unfortunately, I don't have a copy of my DMC for the 1st and 2nd years to prove that what I initially got was correct and that there was no error with my marks.
After my Bachelors degree from your University in 1999, I went on to do my PGDM from MIT, Pune. I also finished a few more certifications based on the documents given to me by you, and I believe that if the documents provided initially by you were incorrect, why should I now be penalized because of a mistake by the University?
I would request you to look into the matter and help me get my original marks and Division.
