I have booked a ticket from chennai to Hyderabad in Air India Express on 7th Mar 2024 thru an online agency Happyfares.in. Since I booked wrong route, I immediately called Airindia Express and cancelled the ticket. They cancelled my ticket deducting Rs 500 as agency charges and issued a refund of Rs 2921/-. Whereas the travel agency is sending a mail to me stating they are refunding me Rs 132/- when I called the customer care telling them that airlines has refunded Rs 2921 and the agency should deduct only the agency charges, the executive said, airlines has charges them Rs2789/-, which is a blatent lie and I have voice recorded the Air India express customer service executive conversation where she clearly mentions that Air India do not charge any penal amount on agency. Now Happyfares is denying me payment of Rs 2921-400=2591/-.
