I had purchased a jbl soundbar 2.0 a little over a month back.. Further to that, the product had a power problem. It wouldn't turn on.
When i spoke to their customer care (On a saturday 10 days ago), i was assured that a technician would visit my house on the subsequent monday. I had specifically requested that the executive come during the morning hours, since it was a working day. However, i received no call throughout the day.
Towards the end of the day, i receive a call from the technician inquiring about the problem (I was certain the harman customer care must have briefed the technical team on the problem). Nevertheless, i explained what the issue is, and then to my surprise, the technician said that he would come the next morning.
I cancelled my work calls in the anticipation of the technician, however, again to my dismay, i received no calls. And yet again, i received a call from 'another' technician again at the end of the day (Tuesday, this time), again, inquiring as to what the problem was. Again, i patiently explained, and yet again i was told that he would visit my home the next day.
This 'mockery of the customer', went on for the entire week. No technician turned up..
I called the support line on saturday (A week after the initial complaint was lodged) - and again received the same response from them - a promise that someone would visit my place on monday. When asked to speak to a superior in their (Requested escalation) - they said that someone from their team would call me by saturday eod..
As you might have guessed by now - no call..
Jbl / harman products might be renowned for their performance, however, their customer / service team is really pathetic and unprofessional..
Oh, by the way, their "policies" don't allow a replacement of the product... A product that failed during the very first month of purchase!!!
Absolutely ridiculous!!!
