    Myself salil shyamsunder bhat had purchased Havell's velocity 1400 fan from tivrekar traders mapusa mkt. mapusa, goa on 10th nov 2008.
    It is giving me problem of Knocking noise for past 1 month and have registered complaint on havell's helpline too with complaint no 09101777.
    It is almost 8days no one have either called me for complaint or no visit it is pathetic and lethargy by havell's.I hope this mail will help me addressing the issue.

        Hi,

        I am Indu Singhal. I purchased two Ceiling fans (Flamingo Model) from I.K.Sons (Bhagirath Palace) on 10th May08. The warranty of Havells Ceiling Fans is two years. But I got a very bad experience in support and services being provided by Havells service centres.

        I am facing problem in both the Havells Fans (One fan is not working and another one is making lot of noise while running). I had logged the call with their service centre (Saurabh Enterprises - Havells service provider in Ghaziabad) around 20 days back, but nobody has attended the call yet. I am regularly calling on their phones, but they are turning deaf ears to my complaint.


        Now I have no other solution, but to resort on local electrician to rectify the problem of my both the ceiling fans.

          I purchased a Havells Wall Hanging Fan for my office and it stopped working on the very next day of installation. I called up Havells consumer care and they sent somebody to repair the fan. Next day, the fan again stopped working. This happened on[protected]. Now whenever I call up consumer care.. They do not respond..or the ecxuse is that the repairs guy is on his way.. but he is never able to reach me.. I m very tired of this scenario.. Is there anyway that i can escalate my complaint to the highest of concerned authorities so that they also get to know how there people are fooling the customers...

            I am Prashant Mittal residing in Jaipur, purchased Two Fusion-2 fans from Havells authroised dealer in April, 2009. Just after using these fans for a week noise has started, which has been reported to Havells Customer Service Centre. They sent their mechanic who verified the complaint and did some tit-bit to resolve the issue. But this cycle is being repeated almost every month their after. Every time I make a complaint, Havells sends person to first verify the problem after 3-4 days, then again after 3-4 days some mechanic turns up and do some tit-bit and reduces the noise. It works fine for 5-6 days and noise again starts and so on, , , , ,
            I have requested Havells to replace the fans and I am even ready to accept the Fans with lesser amount but they are not giving ear to it. I guess every time one makes a visit in city like Jaipur it is going to cost at least 50/-, and upto now more than 10 visits have been performed by them, and they are unable to provide the remedy, they have tried 1. Replacement of baldes 2. Re-fixing of ring attached to motor part
            3. Screw tighting of blades. But any of these worked ...

            HAVELLS FANS — FANS ARE NOISY

            I HAVE PURCHASED 10 NOS OF HAVELLS 48'' FANS 2 YEARS BACK AND ALL ARE VERY NOISY. I'M NOT SATISFIED.
            I have, purchased Six pieces of fans ES-50(48") from Havells authroised dealer Vasdev Elecrticals in Bhopal on 28th Oct. 2010. Just after using these fans for a 5 Months noise has started .So now I am searching the service center at Bhopal Uptill now I am unable to find out In this regarding plz.help me.

            I do agree with you mr.Prashant.I purchased 14 no. Hawells ceiling fans for my newly built nursing home, out of which 5 fans were jammed, no movement.I reported it to dealer who assured it will be repaired.The funny thing was that the dealer was based at Kanpur city and will give a visit after 2-3 days.But for me it was much annoying to call electrician daily so I returned back all the 14 fans after very hot arguements between me and dealer, when I threatened him to look in the consumer cuort.Not only I, same time my brother-in-law experienced the same with Hawells fans.Every time you visit an electric shop and ask for a ceiling fan he will suggest Hawells only you know why it is so, these companies are offering foreign trips to dealer against the sale, anyway, now I am enjoying with Crompton Greaves fans only hassell free or better to say hawells free.

            Again I am reminding that Ihave made a complaint to Bhopal service centre of Havell's ceiling Fan and they had assured and they have given a complaint no. is 1654/4-6-11
            But uptill now I am Waiting for their sevices. Plz.help me in this regards

            I also has similar kind of problem, HAVELLS producing low quality products and making people fools by saying replacement warranty. The mechanics in service cell are road side people, they dont even know how a fan rotates. We are all in this world spending money based on advertisements they are giving and making ourselves fools.

            I have raised two calls but no response, telling everyday a new story. This is the kind of service they provide..

            BE AWARE DONT PURCHASE HAVELLS.. go for usha or crompton much better than HAVELLS

              My company has made a tie up with Axis bank for salary saving account but later on this account not operational due to change in company policy and when i send the cancelled cheaqe book and cancelled ATM card to your branch for closing this account they are asking Rs.2195.00 as non maintainance charges and earlier I am getting bank statement showing Zero Balances.

              They never mentioned in statement or made any communication for change in account status and non maintainance charges

              This is total unjustified becasue my salary account open on term of Zero balance so why this amount debited to my account without intimation to me.

              So, please help in this regard and cancelled my salary savings account with intimation to me.

[protected] BUT THEY ARE NOT TAKEN ANY ACTION. I CONTACT THE HYDERABAD DEALER AND THE COMPLAINTS DIVISION IN HAVELLS MAIN OFFICE NOIDA ALSO. EVERY DAY THEY SAID THAT THEY WILL SEND THE PERSON TODAY BUT TILL DATE THE PROBLEM IS NOT SOLVED. ALL TAPS ARE UNDER LEAKAGE AND I AM SUFFERING SO MUCH OF PROBLEM I CALLED THE PERSONS YESTERDAY ALSO THEY SAID AS USUAL ROUTINE DAILOGUE.

                  TILL DATE THE PROBLEM IS NOT SOLVED AND I QUESTION HAVELLS MANAGMENT WHY THEY SELL THEY PRODUCTS IN MARKET IF THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO GIVE PROMPT SERVICE TO CUSTOMERS. I STRONGLY OBJECT AND I SAID THAT THEY ARE CHEATING THE CUSTOMERS.

                    I have purchased 3 Havells Ceiling fans from Bhagwati Light House, Seawoods, Nerul about a year back and all the above fans failed to function. Repeated complaints to Havels Customer Care through the local vendor (Bhagwati Light House) did not yeild any satisfactory result. Finally Mr.Kadam (Havells' Electrician) visited on 8.7.09 and he could not fix the problem. The fans are still not working. This is the first time i am using the Havells product. But as per my experience, Bajaj and Orient are good in the performance. So, I request everyone to be cautious while choosing the product that has no after-sales-support.

                    i had purchased 4 hevells celling fan 6month back. one fan given sound last three months. i have complain on 8-09-09. your service engineer came my house and he has not check fan. he has gone out of gate and take the sign to my kids. pl. you are requsted send right person for my complain. complain no is 0909776. i have never expect like this service to heveels.

                      I had purchased 3 Havells Ceiling Fans (2 Classic and 1 Decorative). Now I feel that I did a mistake by choosing Havells brand of ceiling fans as all these 3 fans failed immediately after 1 year of purchase. Repeated complaints to Havells Local Customer Care Centre at Navi Mumbai did not yield any result. After a long chase, finally the technician visited on 8.7.09 and gave an unsatisfactory reply and the problem still exists. I am left with no choice but call a local electrician to rectify the fault. so, people who choose to buy havells products, be careful.

                        I bought this Havell's Premium Underlight Fan called as Yorker . This comes with underlights, so it was quite atractive. I paid nearly INR 4000/-for this fan, onlyto find it falling from the ceiling and in the process not only damaging the entire fan, but also completely damaging my precious glass center table in the living room. This is highly outrageous in the part of Havel to have manufactured such fans which cannot take load o[censored]nderlights. They need to be dragged to court and forced to shut down their nasty operations.

                          I purchase Havells Pedestral Fan Swing-RB dated 13/06/2009 from Central Electric Emporium
                          18, RABINDRA SARANI, KOLKATA -700 001
                          TAX INVOICE/CASH MEMO NO. 2152 DATED 13/06/2009
                          on 16/06/2009 Havells Technical person came replaced motor, though it is working but the fan is vibrating which is not normal.
                          I made blunder mistake purchasing this brand . why not deal ear replace this defective fan with new one

                            this is wall fan it is not in function many times i hv given complaints and many times it has repaired but after some days it becomes in same position.

                            i am ur regular customer i never buy another fan bt i'm vry iritate frm this fan pl. do something in proper manner. it's n't a matter of fan it's a concern o[censored]r product & service quality.I hope u will look this matter
                            & satisfie my self, after this complain i don't wan to disturb u.

                              I have purchased one Havells Swing Platina wall fitting fan from Sujata Enterprises, Near Satgachi Junction, DumDum on 27.04.2009 vide cash memo no. 7351 & till begining the fan is not working. Subsequently I have lodged the complaint with their Customer care with docket no. F-1306 & after several pursuation & phone calls, my complaint was attended on 06.05.2009 & I came to know from their service engineer that the fan is having manufacturing defect but he denied to replace the same & some how he repaired pertially & the fan has started working but unfortunately the rope for swing is not working properly even on streching like anything then only the same is working & I doubt the rope for swing will might be torn off very shortly. The same problem was brought into the notice of the service engineer immediately but he was trying to convince that the rope is working like that only. I don't know what to do? who will resolve my complaint & also by when. I really feel very sorry with the service of Havells & my suggestion to those people who are willing to buy Havell products pls. think twice before going with Havells.

                                I purchased a bath room fitting PISA CAT 37021 SINGLE LEVER QUARTER TURN from Faridabad, S.D Traders, sector-9 on 19.04.2008 .The shopkeeper/dealer give me a warranty card showing 7 years warranty against any manufacturing defect.After 7 months tap starts leaking and i made a complaint to the shopkeeper FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF THE FITTING..He sent a plumber who found that a part, called FACE, IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY.Plumber took the part with him and shopkeeper promised me to replace that part .but he failed to do so and replied that the warranty is not valid for this part and i should talk to the company.Then i requested the company through E-MAIL on[protected] for the replacement but no reply received from them till date.kindly intervene in the matter to solve my problem.

                                    I, am Sajal Majumdar, purchased a Havells Fan, Model: Vogue from one of their retailer name Sujata Enterprise of Nager Bazar, Kolkata. I purchased that fan near about 2 years back. Suddenly yesterday night the iron stick (which helps the fan to hang from the ceiling) got broken when the fan was switched on condition. You can understand how the fatal condition would have been.

                                    I have already complained to customer care whose no. is 08081817.

                                    Did I made mistake by purchasing a very poor quality Havells fan??????????? In my life time i have never heard and experience the breaking up of iron stick of ceiling fan.

                                    In Havells India Ltd website they have mentioned about the Quality policy, but if this their standard of quality then for God sake it should not be display on their website to misguide the customer.

                                    i totally agree with poor quality of havall's and even more with poor services of havells. i bought 7 wall fans of havells mistaking it as good quality but i call for its repair almost everyother month.
                                    and the local guy dont respond to calls for many days.
                                    i am planning to throw them out and get some good indian fans instead of these chinese ones.

                                    i feel one should always search net before going for these kind of purchase

                                    I have purchased a pedestal fan and the plastic fan bade broke. To my luck nothing came out and hit us since we heard some abnormal sound and switched it off. When called the customer compaint number they acknowledged several incidents of broken blade.. But till date no one has come to repair the same...I do regret stating that i have done a wrong choice of buying Havell. I also have three ceiling fans of Havell where i had the problem of capacitor which had failed within 6 moths and the other failed after 2 years. Myself being an electrical engineer had managed to replace the same... Looks like that ive been waiting for the service person for my pedestal...as a last resort i might have to repair at my own cost...since the service is very very poor...
                                    I did purchased havell's electrical goods worth Rs 30k one and a half year earlier for my new house.
                                    But after a year all things started slowing down its performance. Fans which were bought were of no use as they could not circulate the air properly. Their R.P.M also went down. Some switches started sparking.Some of sockets did break off while inserting some plug.iI once contacted the service center and they did replace the motor of fan ; For 2 days it was fine but after that it again slowed down. I never in my life experienced such poor quality of a reputed company. Here i am not complaining of poor service but poor quality which HAVELL'S is providing.So i would suggest to others never believe on this company goods specially fans, socket, switches and exhaust fan.
                                    I purchased one HAVEL ceiling fan on 01/01/2008.in Sundhar Electricals-Mugappair Chennai 37.

                                    But unfortunately the fan was not working from 20/04/2009(within the guarantee period of 2 years.)

                                    On investigation the condenser(Capacitor)got melted and I have replaced it on my own cost.

                                    Even i totally agree with the worst product quality of Havells fans I bought 5 Havells celling fans in December 2005 and till date i have replaced the capacitors of all the fans and now the coil of one of the fan is burnt
                                    Fans are used only for only 4 months in a year and due to late possession of my society house i have not even used it for one year but since the warranty period is gone i will have to get it repaired on my own cost
                                    One of my Polar fan is still working great even after 7 years of purchase,
                                    I request all to create awareness by passing the message to all like a chain reaction against the purchase of Havells products

                                    I bought all new products from havells for my new house.. Switches are ok...But I don't know how such a company can design a faulty 3 pin plug socket...Even while you try to insert a plug, the switch goes to the "on condition" which is hazardous...I saw all plug sockets and found that the gap on the right and left are not even, with one side, and my great electrician fixed all switches on the right side, which has less gap...When i inspected other brands' plug sockets, they are equal on both the left and the right..Don't know how a leading company can commit such a grave mistake...although bought from a reputed dealer in chennai...After reading these comments about fans, I am also afraid what difficulties I am going to face...Lesson: Don't go by advertisements or door to door campaigning of the marketing people ?
                                    I've purchased 7 nos. of cieling fans recently alongwith Havells make solid state speed regulators. I've been facing two problems--- one, the regulation of speed is very poor. 3 out of seven fans do not take start at speed set-1&2. At set3 the fan starts but the speen is undesirably high. On several complaints with the local representative all the regulators were replaced. they just shorted the regulators and took away all the seven to their depo. After 5 days the regulators were refunded to us.On several chase -up these regulators were refixed. But the problem still persists and the representative is not paying heed.It was a harrowing experience to run these fans without regulatorsin the month of February.
                                    Secondly, the condenser covering caps fall frequently on the main body causing lot of noise. The threaded design for fixing these caps is of substandard quality. most importantly, the representavies are quite non chalant to the problems logged with them.
                                    I havecomplaint nobody is responding . I keeping sending reminders and phone calls. look my efforts too .

                                    I have purchased two Havells Fusion make fans on 19.09.09 from Gupta Electricals, Shahdara, Delhi-110032 and when the fans are installed I find that one fan is making noise and it seems as told by electrician, its due to bearing problem, when I contacted Gupta Electrical, he gave me customer care number and told me that the person from thier would come and attend/replace with in 48 hours. I also lodged complain in the answering machine which said me to leave my address and contact number and the executive will call me back, but no call yet and I have also lodged complain and no is 09092087 but still await any response from the company.
                                    Reading the reviews here now, I feel that may be I have just made a blunder and have invited troubles for me, by purchasing Havells Brand fan, as I never knew that so many Customers are facing problem due to poor after sales service from the company.

                                    I, have purchased a Havells Ceiling Fan, Model: Velocity, Sweep: 1400 MM from one of their authorised retailer name T.R. Electric Co, Golepark, Kolkata. I purchased that fan on 20.09.08.

                                    There is an irritating sound which is coming when the fan is rotating. I have already complained to customer care whose no. is 0906266. The mechanic came but unfortunately it was not his cup of tea to rectify the problem. It went ok for a couple of few days but the problem still continues.

                                    Did I made a mistake by purchasing a very poor quality Havells fan???????????.

                                    In Havells India Ltd website they have mentioned about the Quality policy, but if this their standard of quality then for God sake it should not be display on their website to misguide the customer.

                                    I have bought 2 havells fans.I clearly told the dealer pls give me the energy saving fans.He packed two fans of 1200 mm size of fusion model.I gave it to my electrician to fix it.Just as curiosity i read the instructions over the packing box, there was no star rating energy saving logo and not a single line stating regarding the energy saving.
                                    While purchasing the delar told me that this fan will save 40% o[censored]r electricity bill.I called the dealer and asked him regarding this, he told me "sir sab kuch likha nahi hota jaisa company hame bolti hai waisa hum apko bolte hai", and he refused to take the fans return.

                                    Havells is the poorest quality fan one can buy in the market. I purchased a havells ceiling fan some six months back. Thinking the brand name to be a popular one I got mislead into purchasing the same. Till date the new fan spins very slowly and only gives some breeze when directly under the fan. I consulted the shopkeeper from where I purchased the same and he tells me the company manufactures such slow fans in order for the fans to have a long life. I am using local unbranded fans which are far better than havels in terms of speed and overall quality and performance. Havells may be having a name in the market but surely in terms of quality they are far behind when compared to other fans available in the market. I literally compared the speed with other brand fans and to my surprise havells fans are the simply the slowest spinning fans and lacks breeze. Okay you may say my fan is the exception but I have come across several havell fans and they are all sailing in the same boat. They lack speed which is the main factor in a fan and when they run slow I think that fan is useless in terms of performance.
                                    By chance sometimes havell fans may work well but most of the time they are very poor in terms of quality and speed. I purchased a havells fan some two years ago and till date they fail to spin fast. When I purchased the same they did not give any breeze at all when compared to other fans. I contacted my dealer from where the fan was purchased and he simply told me that all havells model ceiling fans are of the same speed. I got taken for a big ride as I could have paid half the cost and bought a local fan which would have performed better than a havells fan. In fact my local fans are giving better service than havells as they give a lot more breeze than any havells fan can do. You simply can't judge a book by the cover so in case havells is having a good name in the market it does not prove itself in terms of quality. Once you buy this kind of fan you would never make the mistake of buying another similar model fan. My sincere recommendation is that local fans perform better than the branded ones. Just because they are cheap when compared to their counterpart the branded ones doesn't mean they are poor in quality and performance. You can go ahead and buy local fans in order to enjoy its optimum value in terms of quality and lifespan.

                                    Agree with you, at least after two years you have such porblem but in my case the new pruchased Havells (on 15 April 2010) fans makes lots of noise. Subsequently I complaint to Havells Customer Service and chasing for service for the last 10 days. One local electrician was sent to my home and I am sure he has no technical background and he further screwed up the both fans and it is more or less dancing and the noise increased. I again made a complaint but no service yet provided. I request people not to buy Havell's fans because they don't have any service setup but locally managing with franchise etc. Please note after spending your money you got to chase for service, in addition you have to suffer at your home without fan.

                                    Oh my God! it is pain chasing for the services at Havells.

                                    I've purchased 5 Havells Fusion Fan for my House. After the installation, when the first fan was swichted on, there was heavy sparks in the fan and in the Switch box resulting in tripping of Main circuit breaker in house. When the electrician checked this, he confirmed that the fault is in Fan. An electrical equipment can lead to catastrophic damages to person and property if it is improperly designed and manufactured. Can anyone imagine a brand new fan blowing a fuse in house?In my experience this can happen only with Havells - the company which manufactures fans with great design and very great quality policy.I'm wondering what design and Quality policy this company is following.                                     Did I made mistake by purchasing a very poor quality Havells fan??????????? In my life time i have never heard and experience the breaking up of iron arm of ceiling fan.

                                    In Havells India Ltd website they have mentioned about the Quality policy, but if this their standard of quality then for God sake it should not be display on their website to misguide the customer.

                                    Totally Agree with Parmod Goel. I also had same Havells Crabtree switches. Almost all of changed by company once or twice. But still these switches are very-very poor quality. Legs in side the switches are braking time by time. Even Fan regulators are braking into 2 pieces. When company man came to change these he said that we are misusing the switches. MISSUSING..., such a ridicules excuse to protect poor quality product. I doubt whether quality control department exists in this company or not. Very very poor quality plastic used. Fans making too much noise. You have to raise the volume of TV if you want to listen clearly. Company is replacing the switches free of cost, but all replaced switches are same old poor quality and stars giving trouble after some months, Some my two way switches are got replaced twice or thrice.

                                    Totally bad experience with Hewells .i purchase a pedestal fan trendy in April 2016 .till may it has two times repair .the problem is that motor is stop automatically during running and make noise like humming . I would like to suggest new buyers that they do not buy any products of havells . Havells products have low quality at high prices. Usha, khaitan and orient brand are much better than havells .                                       COMPLAINT NOT ATTENDED EVEN AFTER 7 DAYS

                                      I BOUGHT HAVELLS 4 WALL FANS LAST MONTH. ONE FAN STOPPED WORKING LAST WEEK. I MADE A COMPLAINT AT THE TOLL FREE NO AND WAS TOLD THAT WITHIN 48 HRS IT WILL BE ATTENDED TO. IT IS 7 DAYS NOW BUT NO ONE HAS COME TO SEE MY POOR FAN. I REMIND THEM DAILY BUT ALL I GET IS A FALSE PROMISE AND NO SORRY OR REGRET FROM THEM. WHAT TO DO ?...
