Hi,

This is to bring forth the utter dismay and the traumatic experience that i have had so far with HDFC bank home loan service.

My ordeal all started when i wished to transfer my existing home loan with DHFL onto HDFC.

The below mails are just a small window to the immense aggravation that I have gone through. Specifically while dealing with the sales person-Surinder Verma , his supervisor Gaurav Bajaj, Dwarka Branch manager -Bhanu and the list continues.

My loan sanctioning has been prolonged to as much as 2.5 months.

The list continues, my request to you is to kindly look into my case and provide a solution as its a matter of grave concern and monetary


Below are the 2 main points of disgust :
1. My loan was to be disbursed on 31st may when I had signed of the files at the Faridabad branch, however the cheque for the amount of 40,2000/- was kept at the branch for 5 days and was only picked up by the lawyer on 5th to be submitted at the DHFL branch today, upon doing so I have additionally incurred an interest of close to 39,000 which I have to pay off now o DHFL to clear my case from them.
a. I need the additional amount that I have paid to DHFL reimbursed by HDFC ASAP.
2. There has been an EMI deduction of approx 40,816 from HDFC effective today, now as per the information provided by Surinder Verma, My first EMI is not due until 5th of July. I had the option of getting my EMI deducted on the 5th July but I was never intimated about the same by any HDFC personnel
a. I need the amount debited by HDFC to be refunded to my account immediately
3. At the time of submitting the papers for my Home Loan application I was promised by Surinder Verma that I would be reimbursed 50% of my Processing Fee once the loan is disbursed.
a. I need the 50% refunded to my account of the charges charged to me as processing fee.

    I had applied for HDFC credit card in january 2012 .At that time they had collected all the documents.Due to some issue I did not get the card at that time so I again submitted docs(1 month pay slip,Voter ID ,Office Id xerox) in 29 may 2012.But After sending those document I did not receive call/confirmation till date.So either they should return all the document or give me a credit card.Please help me on this.

      respected sir,
      dear sir as i submitted my documents for a loan purpose to hdfc bank which is located in kadri mallikatta.after i submitted they followed regarding verification about my identity and they successfully done with that,after they gave me a confirmation that i gonna get a loan soon for my bike but they failed telling that my professional address is out of their matter and i fought legally with the loan section division manager Nasser,later they bluffed me with giving some senseless reasons and i lost in that,and i did some where.so please take action regarding them..

        Dear Sir,

        From Last One Year I am not using HDFC Credit Card., due to i am out of country., That time due to my card lost i given request to
        HDFC customer care for Block the Card., From That time to this time I am not used single transiction., when i am requested to re-issue my card they are saying card is suspended., after that many time i got calls from HDFC Credit Card Customer/ collection/etc.. ask to pay minimum due amount so then can re-issue card by avoid of Suspension.


        Also I paid Rs.15800.00 from Nov-11 to June-12.,

        But when i am calling no-body given response and simply saying card is suspended.

        Every month they fined 1000 to 2000 rupees from Last 1 Year also I have dout regarding miss-use in this one year.

          Respected Sir,
          I was an employee of Hdfc Standard Life Insurance co. ltd. vide employee id 50404.My posing branch was Bolpur, Birbhum, West Bengal & my vide PF & Pension A/C number was MH/211273/34971.I have left the organisation on 20th june'2011 & on the same day I have submitted my PF & Pension withdral form to the organisation with a a/c number of HDFC bank, but after lots of reminder I came to know from their local(Kolkata) HR person that I have submit my claim form with a cancel cheque.I have send the fresh claim form with cancel cheque of my SBI a/c on 14th March'2012.
          But till I yet to receive the claim amount & presently my wife is suffering with serious cardio problem & I need the money for her treatment.Now the company(Hdfc Standard Life Insurance co. ltd.) has sending me mail for extention of time for settlement of my PF Claim.
          You interption is sincerely requested to solve the issue as I require the amount urgently for treatment of my wife.

            RESPECTED SIR,

            I HAVE A SALERY ACCOUNT IN HDFC BANK AND I AM WORKING IN TRANSPORT CORPORATION OF INDIA LTD I HAD WITHDRAW RS 400 FROM DHAN LAXMI BANK (ATM) ON 1/6/2012 WHICH IS IN SEC-14 GURGAON BUT THAT AMOUT (400) NOT RECIVED BY ME FROM THAT ATM SO I COMPLAINED TO HDFC
            BANK CUSTOMER CARE FOR THE REVERSAL OF THAT AMOUNT BUT I DO NOT GET PROPER ANSWER FROM THEM...               Dear Sir/Madam,

              I am Ani from Kollam, Kerala. I had worked with HDFC STANDARD LIFE INSURANCE Co. from December 2005 to October 2007. I submitted the PF withdrawal application on January 2011. Firstly they told me that it will take 6months & will get credited in my HDFC Bank account. When I contacted them after 6months at the office phone in Mumbai, nobody was attending the phone. After trying several times in several days, I sent them mail. But they didn't respond to it also.
              Later they replied me through mail telling that it may take 3more months for the processing. After that no phone call pick ups or no mail reply from them. Till the time I couldn't know even the amount in my PF account. I am waiting my PF for the last 1.3years. Please do anything.

                I am a Chartered Accountant by profession and a permanent resident of Kolkata. Presently servicing in a reputed Construction company in Kolkata. I have maintaining a Salary account no.[protected].with HDFC bank, UNB Branch, with “Classic Customer”Category and a personal Loan a/c no[protected].
                During April,2012 I had been betrothed with your renowned Financial Institution with an urge to accomplish a housebuilding loan of Rs.2200000/- . Initially I had contacted with official of your Kolkata Branch, HDFC limited and with prompt effect an executive, DEEPAYAN BANERJEE ( HDFC Sales Ltd. 220/1 Hemanta Basu Sarani, Kolkata ) came down to my office with proposal forms and all sorts of terms & conditions in details as stated by law. As per bank requirement ,I have submitted all necessary documents and processing fees on the very next day On -20/04/2012 in the hands of your executive.
                Thereafter, the next 8 days I didn't get any phone call or any information from the branch and I was inclined into complete darkness about the progress of the Loan Proposal. Also, I didn't get the Application number from your branch which is absolute necessary for further communication against my loan application. After contacted with your branch I was dazed to know that the Loan Application number has not yet generated. Next few days I have gone through a bitter experience of insouciance and tardy behavior of the Kolkata branch.
                I was disheartened to acknowledge that my loan proposal has not been processed even after submission at the execution section of Kolkata Office. Also, the branch officials are unaware about the reason and unable to stated me the cause of rejection. In the meanwhile my promoter has cancelled the sale agreement due to the excessive delay caused by your branch. So, I have opted to cancel the loan application with immediate effect on 02/05/2012 request them to return back all the papers submitted to them .But, this was not enough for my frustration and agony, rather its uproar day by day because the above submitted documents, I have been unable to collect from your branch till date, due to acute slackness and sneaky attitude of your branch officials.
                Regrettably, this is to inform you that though I have achieved 'SIBIL' rating no-806 with repute, I have been refused by your bank simply by their callousness and unprofessional attitude which is absolutely not expected from such a renowned financial institution. My paranoia about your company is proved very costly for my valuable time, money as well as mental impediment. Some days before I have send a complain letter to your customer care for not returning my documents, but instead of their acknowledgment of the same, they are maintaining absolute silence about my necessity.

                I am writing this letter with lot of anguish and agony at the attitude of your branch showing towards its customers. I strongly urge your intervention into the matter and returned my documents at the earliest.

                HDFC — Callous attitude, no customer service

                There is lot of mismanagement at HDFC branch at Lajpat Nagar. No one addresses your issues and one is treated well for things that agents can get a commission on

                I have been at receiving end many times, large value amounts take days to be credited, one has to run from pillar to post to get simple tasks done.

                My husband holds a current account with branch and I am its authorized signatory Recently needed to send some money to US via wire transfer. I called HDFC for requirements stating that I am ailing with back injury and would not be able to take repeated bank trips so all that they required be told so that transaction could be done. I was told no issues I just have to fill a form and all will be done.

                I travelled from Noida to Delhi and got the required form filled. Was made to fill forms in duplicate as there was no carbon available? Well lady at counter was busy on phone, after standing for 15 mts she did not hang up, had no time and when I gave her the form she nodded and I left.

                Next day ( May 26 2009 I got a call from bank that this transaction cannot be done as I was just a signatory so I have to use my own account.

                Did no one know the rules or they take customers for granted. Its disgusting I cannot take the exertion of going to bank, my husband needs money and they are so callous to our needs.

                People should unite and get services that they deserve, these banks earn from customers and treat them as trash, DISGUSTING
                HDFC is the most unethical bank in India.
                Their total finance/late charges on a card with limit of INR 20K has been about 10K in the span of just 5 months. the only month in which a payment was not made was in Apr'09. Hwoever, they put a hold on my salary account.They make money by unfair means. Customer care is just a formality. You will doubt whether machines are replying if you see the response from their grievance reddressal cell. They encourage vocally to go to RBI...They are not afraid; because they have clearly known the limitations of Indian customer over the years.

                After many communications, I finally decided to pay whatever they asked including interest, late fees/late fees on late fees and membership fees(on a free card) because I never wanted to be labelled as a defaulter. I don't know whether the bank will show that mercy atleast. Moreover, the cost of the time and head ache I had undergone was too far compared to the 10K they begged and ate.

                    My file No .[protected] and I have given all the documents to Rajkot branch. They have suppose to call me for disbursement. But at last week Rajkot HDFC branch told me at last moment that APF for the property which have booked in Indraprastha Adai village, Panvel has not been done . So the builder has to submit the file to HDFC branch Panvel for this and then they will generate the APF no. from there. Rajkot branch also told me that they have already talk with Panvel branch regarding this issue . According to that I have Requested the Builder to submit the project file in HDFC Panvel branch. Last Tuesday on 29th May my borther Personaly shown the project file of indraprastha project Adai panvel to HDFC Panvel . They told him that we are not funding in Gavthan area and so that we can’t approve this project. HDFC has sanctioned me the loan on 24th Feb 2012. I have submitted all the documents like original sale deed, ECS form (sign verification from axis bank) also. I have submitted allotment letter given by the builder to HDFC on first day only while signing the loan form in which property location has been clearly mentioned. It is the responsibility of HFDC to do verification of the property approval (APF no) from their side before giving loan sanction letter to customer. Now builder is asking for the money from me and you people are not giving disbursement of the loan due to APF issue of the property. If I have not paid the demanded amount i am going to loose that property in june 2012. I am kindly requesting you to help in this case and solve the matter immediately, otherwise HDFC should pay me financial compensation for all this stupidity form HDFC.ltd Rajkot branch.

                    Hi Rahul,

                    I am also facing the same issue . HDFC Ltd initially did things very fast and took processing fee of Rs. 10, 200 and when i asked for the disbursement, they denied giving some property approval reason, while other banks are funding it .

                    Can we please unite and fight with such kind of organisation .They are generating the revenues by getting the processing fees.

                    United we stand .Please mail me or contact .We really need to fight with this

                      Hi,

                      I have taken a loan of Rs. 85.00 Lacs from HDFC Bank Ltd against my house property vide loan no.[protected]. The rate of Interest was 11.75 % at the time of disbursement. Now the rate of interest has increased to 13.25 %, thereby no. of EMI's has increased by few years. Due to this burden of extra EMI's i have decided to pay back the whole loan. But now the bank is saying for prepayment charges of 2 % on the outstanding amount to be paid back, whereas when we took the loan, they said there will be no prepayment charges, if we decide to pay it at any time in future. And also as per RBI Notification they should not charge such fees.

                      I want to close it very quickly, please guide what should i do..

                        Hi,

                        I got a call from HDFC Cr Card, for an offer of Credit Card. i have submitted all the documents, after some days the request was declined with reason residential area is far away or beyond our limits. hence, i mailed them about why dint they tell me about this criteria before taking my documents.

                        Secondly, after 2-3 months again they called me saying your cr card application is now matching our criteria, please submit your documents again. so i did the same, now after all this again the same issue has arised by them withou intimation.

                        By taking my relevant documents the banks can do any fraudulant thing. I want them to return my documents back to me.

                        Please solve my issue asap. Banks simply waste our time by calling and informing about new offers.

                          i have purchased a bike HONDA UNICORN- MH-10 TA 4895 on nov 04 financed by centurion bank of punjab at fort mumbai.
                          After completion of my loan, they did not send me the noc of my loan.
                          When i contacted HDFC bank, they are asking for a charge of rs. 1000. Its ridiculous to pay rs 1000 for a noc.

                            My name is Seema Gupta. I have 5 years old A/c. [protected] with
                            HDFC bank. I applied a credit card in 2008 but I didn't received
                            credit card from bank. After seven month, some didcation from my
                            account balance for bajaj life insurance life policy which was not
                            bought by me & bank charged 1500 rupees by cash from me for
                            clerification.
                            I faced lots of troubled from this issue. I complained lots of time
                            but they ignore me.

                            If you are not solve my proble then i need to go consumer court & i
                            will sue on bank.

                              I am having an account with your HDFC bank, Panchvati branch. My account number is [protected]. On 29th Feb 2012, I have done trax to withdraw 4000rs money from HDFC ATM mahavirnagar, Himatnagar. But that time I couldn’t receive any amount and my debit card was stocked. I had called to customer care that day they replied that you have to give request for new debit card.
                              After one month I come to know that amount has been deducted from account, even I hadn’t received that 4000rs. I had raised complaint 29th March 2012 and its complaint no is AHDC[protected]. They told me that you will receive your money within 3 working days; still today I have not received any amount.

                              in this matter, i have tried to withdraw 4000rs from HDFC mahavir nagar, Himatnagar ATM booth, that time i didn't received any amount and debit card was also stocked in 1st attempt only.

                              That entry is reflecting in your system 4000rs debited and 4000 rs credited at 23.17 on 29th Feb 12.

                              I had given complaint to customer care to block my debit card and requested to send new debit card that you can check your side, later on i got to know that 4000rs again debited from my account at 23.32. (after 15mins)

                              Now please tell me if i am coming to your ATM booth to withdraw money , should i get money immediate or should i wait for 15 min or 30 min of 1 hour.

                              If your there is a problem in your ATM booth , if it is dispatching money after 15 mins , who one knows??

                              Now the question is i have not received my 4000rs yet, who is responsible for that.. if you will see the cctv footage for that session i got angry that time not received money and debited card, now you please tell me if any one comes to withdraw money, if he/she gets money what he/she will do , he/she will exit from ATM immediate. will not dispute with Security guard who was there on duty, and even you will also get to know that i was also not there for 15mins in ATM booth.

                                Sir/Madam,

                                I availed a Housing loan from HDFC Bank in March 2010. The EMI is Rs 8323.00.

                                I was paying all the Installments through PDCs. Some of the PDCs could not encased by the Bank, I paid a big interest including humiliation and mental harassment and defaulter in CIBIL Score.
                                During the arguments with HDFC Bank, Bank told me that bank doing its work very well. So, I must pay the extra charges for delayed EMI due to PDCs.
                                I deliberately converted my option for loan EMIs through ECS in place of PDCs.
                                Last ECS was charged by HDFC Bank on 15th March, 2012, the ECS for the Month of April, 2012 and May, 2012 did not charged by the HDFC Bank even there was a sufficient balance was available in my Bank on the ECS date for the months in question.
                                The HDFC did not communicate me, but deliberately reported me as defaulter in CIBIL score.
                                I request to the Authority of the HDFC Bank and CIBIL, please tell me that-
                                Who will responsible for such type of incidents?
                                Who will pay the defamation charges for this type of defaulter?
                                Is there any monopoly between Indian Banks and CIBIL to promote private money landing business?

                                HDFC BANK LIMITED — Monopoly of the bank.

                                I am holding a salary saving bank account with HDFC Bank Limited, Vivek Vihar, Delhi.I have made many complaints regarding the behaviour, mismanagement and delay in services to branch as well to their seniors but instead of improving their services they are suggesting me that this is the best we are providing and if you are not satisfied you can close the account or the bank will close this account by force within 30 days.

                                  HDFC ergo called in to offer health insurance which we took after the caller told certain conditions are covered. The day the policy document was received , it mentioned those conditions as not covered. Immediately called the helpline and they confirmed these are not covered and told our marketing person will never say that was covered. Anyway, I asked them to cancel it immediately and they did. What was surprising was to find changes three months down the line for this coverage in the credit card. Since I didn't realize what it was as amount was different, The payments were made. Only after further query it was known that I am being charged for an active policy which I am unaware of. Credit card company gave me the policy number and on checking with Ergo, they confirmed active policy. I asked them to cancel and they cancelled pro-rated. HDFC card is asking me to make payment for those and have fed the information to CIBIL. What can I do now? Ergo is saying I took two policies over the phone. Why will I take another policy for same amount for same person for same coverage even before my first policy is delivered? And with no history of relationship with ergo?

                                    hdfc life insurance company - NOT GETTING OUR PF [New Complaint]
                                    Dear Sir/Madam, I have worked in HDFC Standard life from 22 MARCH 2010 to 29 JULY 2011. I have resigned by 29 JULY 2011. And at the time of resigning i have been told that i will receive my PF amount .

                                    I am an MBA. I had joined the company as a trainer on a third party payroll. I was told that I would be confirmed in three months and latest by six months. I was hired as a Trainer consultant so they would not have to pay any PF.
                                    After 3 months there was an assessment done and none o[censored]s were selected. We were told that you are being given 3 months on work on your skills.
                                    3 months later I was transferred to another location in Delhi NCR. The cost of living was almost double to my earlier location. The manager over there was more interested in making me resign from the company rather than helping me out.
                                    Eventually I resigned as I did not see the confirmation happening.
                                    ONE SHOULD AVOID ALL JOBS WHICH ARE ON THIRD PARTY PAYROLL.
                                    THEY ARE MEANT TO MAKE A FOOL O[censored]S AND GET CHEAP SLAVES FOR THE COMPANY.
                                    About the functioning of insurance companies - Most of the policies are MIS SOLD. You can Google it or search in similar forums. It is not only HDFC Life but most of the insurance companies.
                                    It was very common to sell ULIPS asking people to pay premiums for only 3 months and withdraw money the 5th month.
                                    There are bizarre incidents wherein agents have convinced people to invest their PF amount or money saved for their daughter’s wedding in policies informing them that it is similar to a Fixed deposit or single premium policy.

                                      I just wanted to put the light over the worst working people of HDFC BANK.I got a call from HDFC BANK few days back regarding Credit card .
                                      I was not at all interested to take the card. Even than i got all the required document along with me . Now its been very long time that i am not getting any call from HDFC. Which is very bad for the rapo as well as customer dealing.

                                      This is 2nd time where i am facing this problem with the same bank. I will not even continuous with my account also. Coz its all about trust.

                                      if Before that if i will get the cc in my hand.

                                        HDFC SECURITIES charged my Dmat account in the form of dipository charges in both month March & April, Although they told me my Dmat account is free for 1 year & Charges only annual charge up to 700 rupees & service tax.
                                        They also extended daily SMS alert which is based on share market without any information from one month to one year & charged 794.76 rupees on 20 April 2012.
