I am writing to formally file a complaint against HDFC ERGO regarding an issue with my insurance policy. I made the payment on March 20, but my policy was not activated despite the payment. Earlier, HDFC ERGO had charged me twice for the same policy. I requested a refund for one of the payments, which I did three months ago. Now, after three months, HDFC ERGO has canceled my policy, citing my refund request as the reason. This is unfair, as I only requested a refund for the duplicate payment, not for canceling my policy. I have already spoken to my bank, and they confirmed that the payment was made. However, my policy remains inactive. I request an immediate resolution, either by reactivating my policy or providing a full refund for the amount I paid.
