This is the complaint regarding My four wheeler car Maruti Suzuki Swift MH47AN8795.

I bought insurance from HDFC Ergo in Jan'21 and they committed to give best service in all terms of damage of my vehicle.

in June or July'21 my vehicle got damaged (Bonnet damage) due to natural cause heavy wind a brick fallen on bonnet of vehicle and i was not available in my working town Mumbai due to pandemic and lockdown situation when building security warned me abt incident i came and taken back my vehicle to my native and represent to local Maruti Showroom 'Rukmani Motors' in Indore there they (HDFC & MARUTI) deny to take this damage due to unavailability of parts and full staff but they accepted other small damages repaired and passed the claim and asked me to check this Bonnet damage after a month or two.

16th of Nov i came back to Mumbai for work and on date 29 Nov'21 when I visited to 'SAI Service Andheri' Maruti showroom and represented again but HDFC surveyor has deny again to take this damage under my insurance claim policy and stating this one is a old damage but accepted to take other old small damages.

here i want to understand if the damage caused to my car whether its new or old it should get accepted and pass under insurance claim for which i paid the fees as i am not at fault here have already intimate to HDFC and Maruti both in the month of July 2nd week only. (you may ref OLD pic. taken by HDFC) they had not accepted this bonnet damage claim but repaired and passed other damages. please help me out here.

I had written to HDFC support team also but did not get any response and when i called to their officer they are stubborn and stating we are clear on our stand and you may go and file complaint to consumer forum happily.

    Hi,

    Lady patient around 60 years complaint for abdomen pain was hospitalized and treated in Hyderabad for which bill amount was more than 5, 00, 000/- INR for which we applied for refund against HDFC ergo top-up insurance whose prerequisite was 3, 00, 000 deductable, now we after submitting every single document we are claiming for that 2, 00, 000 request is being rejected stating insurer did not informed about disease at the time of purchase in 2012/2013, after almost 9 years they have rejected? Despite they processed the claim in 2017 for same issue?

      I took a health insurance (policy no[protected] for my mom on credit card emi. A few days back when I checked the status of the policy it was inactive. The customer care told me that, there was new RBI regulation and auto debiting EMI has been stopped and due to no paying the emi the policy has been stopped and I have to take a new policy.

      I asked them why they haven't informed me. Then they also told me that they sent an sms and an email for manual payment. Since the policy change was not informed, we thought it was error and the sms was auto blocked due to spam reports. And only HDFC has this error while others did not. If there was such a major policy change why cant they call to inform. For taking the policy they call like a hundred time but for anything else just some sms. The worst thing was I even took a even after explaining all this . All they can do say is . As per medical underwriters policy you have to take a new one.

      The fun fact is that I even took another supertopup policy for 3k during the time that the payment has been not done. The RBI released new regulation and HDFC inhumanly enforced and saved some money for themselves. Is RBI helping people or ...

      I kindly request to either re-activate the policy or refund the entire amount that had been paid till now.

        it is already too much time and there, s still no update in claim and also no one come or call for survey, and also you have reach your own 21 days wait time so, It, s totally ridiculas that such big company hdfc ergo is working so slow and not update things on time, and even you did, nt even call or contact me.
        I kindly request you that please do, nt lose hope of your customers if company like you treat customer, s like this then I do, nt think people consider to buy health or life insurance in future.
        I just want to say please it has been too much time but there, s no update so I request you to please tell me what, s happening in claim on what stage is? and please update me

              I am availing this insurance from 07 Aug 2013 with No claim.

              This was first time when I was forced to take mediclaim for my wife Deepika Agrawal in July 2021 . However My mediclaim was rejected by HDFC ergo health insurance (which was take over from Apollo Munich.

              The policy which was issued me clearly mention that hysterectomy treatment is acceptable after waiting period of 2 year without any break . I am availing the policy since last 7 year without any break.

              Also while diagnosis a strong evidence of infection of tuberculosis is concluded for which my wife Deepika is taking prescribed treatment from central government.

              For your ready reference please find here the attached snap short of my policy and also the TB card with registered number from central government along with all investigations reports and discharge card.

              So request to please look in the matter and provide me the support by settlement of my claim.

                  Failed transaction

                  On September 12th while purchasing a car insurance policy on HDFC ergo Website, I did a UPI Transaction of 5205 Rs. From My ICICI account (Mobile Number- [protected], Car Number- DL02C AU 9827) . Money got debited from my account but policy has not been issued(Screenshot attached)

                    I bought a policy from the HDFC ergo and at the time of purchasing an insurance representative told me your refrigerator is filly insured and now I'm facing a problem-related o refrigerate and I informed that the same too in July and they are saying like we don't cover this part of the refrigerator.

                      I have tested positive to Covid-19 and have been admitted in hospital. As soon I got admitted at hospital I have intimated to HDFC- ERGO insurance - RRHF[protected]. I have also submitted all the required documents. It's been more than 2 months and there's no proper response. I'm getting lame emails that are completely irrelevant to the claims I have made.

                      Looks like HDFC ERGO Insurance is doing a big scam looting it all.

                        I am a holder of policy number[protected] for my Skoda Rapid HP14B 8799 . My car met with a minor Accident at Dhnaas in Chandigarh due to which it's wind Screen, Left side of Front Bumper, Doors on left side & Lower engine cover got damaged . I have explained everything in a genuine manner to the surveyor but he is making me fool & He is behaving like he only knows everything & we are just liers .
                        This is just insulting the Customer by making us feel as liers . If there is any damage on the same side before the Accident then I have not even asked for it . For Example the Back bumper is damaged from the same left side but I have not asked for it . If you start by thinking that the claimant is a lier then nothing can be done .
                        If this is ho wthe company is behaving then I am sorry I will have to take legal path

                          Team,

                          I have raised a health insurance reimbursement claim (RR-HS[protected] ON 21/06/2021. I uploaded all files in PDF format through portal only on same day.

                          As i had not received update after 15-16 days, i have called customer care and asked for recent status of the claim. I was told that update will be given in 7 days of span.

                          I have waited for more then 10 days. As there was no feedback, i have again called customer care on 19/07/2021. I was told that Query was raised by HDFC ergo on 11/07/2021 saying that PDF file is not opening. When i told them that i have not received any communication, they stated that it was technical error from their end. With-in 24 hr they send the communication. It is still pending at HDFC ergo end.

                          Now it is 30 days already past. I have not received a single communication from HDFC ergo. No process was done for my raised claim. And HDFC ergo giving baseless justification for the delay, which is only due to their fault.

                          Such pathetic service is not acceptable !!

                            I had purchased an online insurance policy hdfc ergo throw policy bazaar. Com, for swift vxi UP43AL0648 on the date 05/11/2020 .Policy no is[protected].This policy should be valid from 05/11/2020 to 04/11/2021, but it's not sow on the transport department official website. This scam has disturb me economically and mentally. I want compensation 500000/- only. I have receipt also....
