In last year policy for Ford car issued by HDDC ERGO customer care numbers and toll free number for claim registration and phone number of agent were mentioned .However on customer care number there was no option for claim registration for motor vehicle and toll free number never got connected .
On renewal of policy online on 24.11.2020 when policy is downloaded neither customer care number nor phone number of agent are there on policy document and page having toll free number us not sent even though the said toll free number also does not get connected on calling .
Another important number for seeking road side assistance is also not mentioned on policy even though all above necessary numbers are mentioned in bold letters on first page of policy of many other insurance companies .
All customers are not used to mobile app etc for seeking any help and thus above phone numbers should be made available on policy document by HDFC ERGO and option for registering of claim for motor vehicles and seeking Road side assistance should be available on phone numbers and toll free number for claim registration should also be made operational at the earliest so that after needful is done another copy with all phone details can be downloaded for reference and use .
