Updated by Rahul0511 Hi, i have not received proper reimbursement from HDFC Ergo for my Claim Id: C[protected]Service Id:[protected].
I would simply say that HDFC Ergo plays trick while claim settlements.
Firstly they delay in approving your claims, when you followup with them they put conditions to you for processing the claim like salvage deductions & all.
Secondly, they trick you by making payment directly to customer & not to the workshop, they don't even explain you that you will get the GST benefit if the payment is made to workshop instead of making the payment to customer. This is how they cheat & save by not paying govt. taxes.
Thirdly, upon revisit reinspection, they promise you to consider the parts which were unforeseen before repairing. They simply reimburse based on the initial rough estimate provided to them initially.
Fourthly, they do not provide you complete reimbursement for labour charges. I wish HDFC Ergo had their own workshop where we could do our vehicle servicing at lowest cost.
I am really very depressed by such behaviour of HDFC Ergo. I want complete reimbursement of my claim amount.
