Hi,
I had bought a call option on BPCL with a strike price of 245 in the month of November with the call expiry date being 25-Nov-2021.
Total amount deducted from my bank account for the call options and margin in the month of November was 74, 79, 498.24.
Total value of the Call options as of expiry date i.e.: 25-Nov-2021 was 27, 25, 300.00
Total amount of physical settlement was 44, 15, 072.00
From the amount deducted and amount returned, there is roughly 30, 58, 426.00 lacs missing.
I've tried to reach out to the relationship manager in Bangalore branch a week ago and also to HDFC customer care in this regard. I've not received any explanation or response in writing regarding this so far.
As the investment amount is huge and I'm missing roughly 30 Lacs in my account, I'm unable to make any further investments.
This is unacceptable customer service from HDFC securities and shows
lack of expertise from their derivatives team.
