This mail is with regards to log id for my recently purchased hp laptop with serial no. 8cg00407pr.
I had logged a complaint on saturday 3rd july regarding the caps lock light of my laptop not working. On the same day, i received a call from your technician saying that he would be unable to attend to our request today and would come on monday instead. He then asked for the otp which was messaged to my number (The otp message stated that the technician is currently at your place handling the issue, which was not the case). Which i denied him of the otp since he wasn’t present at my place to fix the problem, even though he insisted upon it. There was no technical support provided on monday. However, he came on tuesday 7th july to resolve our issue. I was absolutely disappointed with the way my newly purchased device was handled as the keyboard had to be replaced. The technician was constantly on another phone call while fixing my laptop and seemed to be in a rush to leave. Even though the caps lock light is now working, i am unable to connect my headphones and external wireless mouse with my laptop (Which was working fine until friday 2nd july). My wi-fi connectivity has also gone for a toss after the keyboard replacement. We have to sit in very close proximity of the router to somewhat have an interent connection.
I would like to bring two things to your notice here:
1. I have bought this new laptop so that my kids have smooth and unhindered online classes but if i have to instead waste precious time in fixing these technical problems, how are they supposed to attend their sessions.
2. I have two elderly family members with underlying illness and two kids below the age of 10 in my house. As it was a technical problem which required a technician to investigate the problem personally, i allowed them to visit my house. But i cannot allow strangers to visit my home every time in these unpredictable times and expose my family to this pandemic.
Hence, i demand that my device be replaced and all quality checks be adhered to, before handing me with a new device. Was this information helpful? |
