Dear hrtc officers,
I would like to make a formal complaint regarding loss of our baggage from volvo bus from shimla to delhi, the details of the bus and ticket are below.
Hrtc bus : ticket no.:[protected], journey date :07-jan-2019 22:15 (Hrs), service no :4, bus number :hp-63-2847, depot :dw taradevi, crew mobile no:[protected]
Our baggage was given to another traveller while we were seated in the bus. The conductor assumes he gave the bag to another set of travelers who got down at bypass stop in delhi.
The bag is a green color back pack used for trekking and has our belongings which are mostly cloths, personal care items and souvenirs worth more that 45000/- rupees.
We have provided the following details to hrtc crew for following up and returning our luggage once received

We are hoping that you will be able to retrieve our luggage and send us to the address provided. If not we should be compensated for the luggage lost and inconvenience caused, as this was clearly due to lack of care/responsibility from the conductor and lack of proper method for baggage handling from hrtc. Additionally, issuing tickets without taking proper identification and contact number has made this situation complicated.
Please do the necessary, hope this incident will help hrtc streamline the service and management.
