I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction and disappointment with regard to the service provided by one of your HRTC buses and its conductor and driver. I would like to bring to your attention a serious problem which I faced during my recent journey on 20/07/2023 at 3AM on bus route Chandigarh to Guglara bus timing 07:10PM
As a regular and loyal customer of your transport service, I have always trusted HRTC Buses for their punctuality, convenience and dedication towards customer satisfaction. However, my recent experience has left me very disappointed and dissatisfied with the conduct of your bus conductor and driver.
They stopped the bus about 2KM before my intended drop point, without any valid explanation or prior notice. Saying that the bus will not go further, we have rest crane here because it was the last drop point, while earlier the bus used to stand at my drop point, even though it is also a bus stand, yet the conductor driver did not show us ahead, causing a lot of inconvenience and trouble to me and my family.
The added difficulty of having to walk at 3am with my 2 year old kid with wife and bags and maneuvering in the dark at 3am with limited assistance or guidance was completely unnecessary. It is important to stress that this type of behavior is not only unacceptable but also extremely unsafe for passengers.
As a responsible transportation company, it is important that you address and rectify this matter immediately. It is important that your bus conductors and drivers understand their responsibilities to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers, especially those traveling with little baby. Dropping passengers 2 kms away from their intended destination is absolutely unacceptable, especially when alternatives are available.
I request that a thorough inquiry be conducted to identify the reasons behind the conductor and driver moving away from the designated drop-off point. Furthermore, I urge upon you to take immediate corrective measures to ensure that such incidents do not recur, and that passengers are provided with the quality service that they have come to expect from HRTC.
I look forward to a speedy and satisfactory resolution of the matter. I request a formal response detailing the actions taken and the measures implemented to prevent a recurrence of this situation.
