My customer no. is 671234.
I booked gas for home delivery on 5.09.10 but till today 22.09.10 not deliver. Whenever i make phone call to no body pick up the call or phone coming busy.

And from today morning 9.00am, i am continuous calling (10am)but both phone(2321325, 2330825) are coming busy.

I am very sorry to say we are facing much problem due to this type of service and it is regular happening with HP. My Gas Agency. is Raj Gas service

i am suparna laskar my gas agency i.e (KEKAN GAS AGENCY,TINGRE NAGAR, vishrantwadi) every time telling us about shortage of cylinders and problem in the supply. They are also refuseing to take booking before (last delivery + 10 days ).
i am not aware about this rule , and he is also selling booked cylinder to others, This agency never give services and also very rude to the customes.
They also told me to do what i can do in...

My LPG Gas Cylinder consumption generally lasts for minimum 1.1/2 to 2 Months.

This is being a small family of 3 members only.

My current Gas Cylinder lasted just 1 month.

Similar was the case few months back (around 4 months back).

Pls suggest me what to do.

My Consumer number is 614437 with m/s UniversalGasAgencies,Taliparamba,Kannur,Kerala.Very sorry to inform that this agency is very delay in supplying of cylinders even after booking 30days and they are not attending phone calls,while calling always i got the message that phone is temperarly out of order or a beep sound(engaged tone).When a personally went their office what they are always telling that you are in waiting list or your number is down in the order.I noticed that this agencey is giving cylinders without booking or the same day of booking to their friends relatives or those who are close to them.Here i am giving an example that is, On April 2010 my booking number was 293913, I patiently waited for my cylinder,that day the delivery vehicle came our area and i asked what was the booking number they are supplying that time,they told 296462.Immediately i asked for gas but told they dont have stock,i went their office and shouted, they told give you that evening but i got after 3 days. I am sorry to tell you that i am not in a position to visit their office freequently. This is happening over years. Please take necessary action.

This is to inform you that as per the advertisement dated 15th aug 2009 appointment for retail outlet dealer at BISAMKATAK the selected candidate Mrs TALINA BEHERA wife of MOHAMMED SAKEEL whose mother is already OWNER in M/S ASIAN GAS SERVICE PHULBANI ,
As per petroleum companies rule act if blood relation of family members are already dealers of BPCL they cannot apply in HPCL they have misguided the company by breaking rule already they have so many firms of bpcl retail outlet still they are selected for hpcl retail outlet this unfair decision by hpcl.

As talina Behera has cheated the HPCL but still they are selected this is unfair .

Dear Sir ,
We are totally feed up with our supplier. We have booked our refill 15 days back but till today we have not recived it. When ever we call them up there reply is out of stock & will send you as soon as we recive fresh stock. But to our utter suprise we have seen that refill to Goverment serevants are done that also the very same Day. When we complain about it the agency reply is rude & arrogant manner. Even after sending you this complain I know I will be Harresed in future also because he is the sole distributor (Monopoly). We would also like to suggest HP/ BP to appoint more Agencys so that no one has a Monopoly in Consumer Goods.
Pls note:- We have two cylinders but the Agency refills it once a month. (They say it is as per Companys rule) So our second cylinder as become A SHOW PIECE.

Respected Sir,

Cost of a domestic LPG (cooking gas) cylinder weighing 14.2 Kgs (written in paint on all cylinders) in Jammu is Rs. 368.75 per cylinder and we have to collect gas sold through vehicle of various companies at selected road side outlets. There are three gas agencies Viz. BAHAT GAS, HP GAS and INDANE all selling it @ Rs. 370.00. Previously cost of same gas cylinder was Rs 331.50 and all the said gas agencies were selling Gas @ Rs. 340.00 per cylinder. You can confirm it from consumers any where particularly from consumers of Durganagar, Roopnagar Jammu. Imagine illegal earning of gas agents. I my self purchased Gas a number of times at overpriced rates as said above. No action was taken by gas agencies even on complaining. Height of high handedness on the art of gas agencies is that BHARAT gas agency did tell me always when ever I purchased gas directly from agency that I should purchase gas at their identified outlets only, obviously they can get their share of the booty. However, they did not refuse to sell it there. (Because gas is not supplied daily at the identified road side out lets) There is no arrangement for weighing the gas cylinder on spot. I am sure cylinders of Bharat gas contain less than the actual weight. Be it known that selling gas duly weighed in presence of customer is mandatory for the seller. This should be introduced immediately in Jammu. Gas distributors behave as if they have done some favour to the customer for selling him the product.

My submission is that the said gas be sold at nearest 10 rupees figure say Rs. 370.00 and the cost be compensated to consumer or company in the next revision of rates. Don’t you know that 25 paise and 50 paise coins are no where available now. When Railways even small auto drivers etc. do not charge in paise why should gas agencies behave irresponsibly. It is nothing but a choonga (as it is called in desi) to gas distributers and their employees same is the case with other petroleum products. I once again request to direct your distributors not to loot poor man and cost of the cooking Gas and other petroleum products be rounded off to the nearest 10 rupee figure.

Hello Sir/Madam,

I was the victim of an incident of cheating at the HP Gas station in Vadapalani, Chennai (Opposite green park hotel). The personell are not asking to check reset to zero which should be mandatory. They diverted my attention both at start of fill and end of fill up (by talking about what I need in the bill and that my Santro's tyres are flat etc..).

I have paid 1000 rupees and ended up with much less than half tank on my Santro, which means they managed to fill about 5 litres of petrol than the 18 litres mentioned on the bill.

Request you to report to concerned authorities, and prevent similar incidents at this pump.

Dear sir ,

I have taken the new connection of HP gas through Aashu agencies at the time of the delivery of the connection aslo they have misguidded me by saying that it will come to ur home today only but the deliovery of my connection was done after 2 days time and I use to call several time to their office but they are not responding to it. After a month time my gas was finished so I called on 32664855 on 20/08/2010 and booked the cylinder my reference no. was 27224 and the madam told me it will deliver within 2 days time but till today it has been not deliver .
So today morning I have called again to their office on the same number mention above But the response I got from that Madam was not acceptable she was talking like that I have made some crime to call on this number . I asked her that I have booked the cylinder but still it is not deliver so she has checked my account and asked me to call there delivery boy to ask why it is not deliver . I have continusely calling to their agencies 2 or 3 times daily to get an update but they are not taking an action when I asked for the senior person Name and his contact number she refused to give me when I asked her name she hangh the call by saying that I can do what ever I want so this is not acceptable from My side . so I request you to please take some immediate action against them . I have a scooty and I used to fill my scooty in different petrol pumps in bhubaneswr but I noticed that some of the petrol pumps are cheating in the quantity of petrol to be given to the customer. It is clearly shown in the oil meter that the quantity is not the same which is fill in other filling stations. they cheat directly infornt of you like moving your attention form the oil meter to anything else or the filling meter starting from Rs. 10 or from Rs. 20. etc.

how the cheating should be avoided and stopped please do something.

I'm a consumer of domestic LPG Gas with HP Gas. The dealer i'm associated M/s ADHUNIK GAS SERVICE, always shows shortage of refill cylinders, which I later came to know is selling the same at rates much higher than the MRP. Even anyone can get the cylinder refill @ Rs.500/- each without booking or sometimes even without a leagal connection. Therefore the regular consumer who is having a legal & only single connection of domestic...

HP is using expired LPG gas cylinders posing life threats to their customers. Some of the cylinders are in such a bad shape having dents all over it .It is scary to even go near them. We are forced to keep these TIME Bombs (cylinders with expired dates and dents) right inside in our kitchen in vicinity to our children. Are we safe at our own house.

When asked they responded back that it is a normal practice for cost saving and no incident is reported till now. And if we will complaint nothing will happen they will paint the same cylinders with new dates.

(They are waiting for incidents to happen)

Most of the consumers are not even aware how to check expiry date written on their GAS cylinders .

For example D08 means that this GAS cylinder will expire in third quarter of Year 2008 (You will find most of the cylinders in this range)

Kindly take a note and let us know who is responsible for auditing their warehouses. Normal Public cannot survive without LPG and are forced to take this huge RISK.

One day a Mechanic from Pravin General Stores, Hadapsar came to my home to check the gas connection and stove. I haven't asked them to send a mechanic for that. After checking few foolish things, he asked me to pay Rs. 40. I told him that I haven't asked to come here and also you did not check the things properly. He started saying that if you dont pay money you will not get cylinder next month, also you wont get double cylinder.

After that incident I applied for cylinder on 7 Aug 2010, the person told me that you will get it in 10 days. I haven't received the cylinder after 17 days. Now they keep postponing the delivery whenever I follow up.

I want to complaint against Pravin General Stores for applying unnecessary charges and harassing HP consumer.

I request you to look into same issue.
