Sub- Non delivery of refilling cylinder in due time.

Respected Sir,
I Gadadhar Rath , consumer No-613909 of SWASTI FUEL CENTRE, Gajapati Nagar (RCMS Campus), M.R Colony, Bhubaneswar-17 would like to intimate that, I have booked on 05.08.2010 for refilling cylinder over phone and allotted number 2703 with reply that the refilling cylinder will delivered to me within 6/7 days but till today I have not been supplied the cylinder though every day got a codified reply that, today you will get the cylinder definitely since 16th August 2010.

Today when I called the Swasti Fuel Centre over phone at about 9.15 hrs the phone receiver has replied the same as earlier and clarified me that, “ though bill has been issued in your favour since 4 days back it is difficult to deliver the cylinder in Rasulgarh area in time”. He advised me ‘ to receive the cylinder from the Godown though provision of door delivery is compulsory for the distributor and nothing will be happened even if complaint will be lodged against the distributor in this regard’ . His reply proves that the mischief attitude of SWASTI FUEL has been approved by the HPCL authorities.

It is therefore , requested kindly make an enquiry on the mischief / harassing attitude of the distributor to save the rights and benefits of the consumer. Your good office did not take any action on my complaint through email dtd 10.08.2010 and 11.08.2010 and compelled me to attend your office physically as this is not the first instance . Rasulgarh is within Bhubaneswar so door delivery by the distributor can not be denied . The Cylinder delivery staff may kindly be instructed to take weight of the cylinder during time of cylinder delivery. A line of reply regarding instruction/ action taken by your good office in this case may kindly be intimated through email to me to avoid filing a case in consumer court.

Hpcl — Harassment by staff

I am an unfortunate consumer of HPCL registered with the MULUND-W dealer, It is most unfortunate that I chose HPCL. The staff handling the office are most arrogant, rude, and absolutely uncourteous.The lady by the name Minal has gone as far as to say that "vedi aahe", "ladat aali aahe" etc etc all within my hearsay, and to add to this Mr. Shailesh who attended my call had this to say on my enquiring why the consumer would have to travel from the west to the east for a name and address change request "CUSTOMER BHAGWAAN NAHI HAIN" . Really in this day and age can some one really get away with this sort of rudeness???.
My Requirements/ Grievances:
1)Change of Name & Address
Simple isnt it? NOt for HPCL though according to them having a ration card is a must. They go to great lengthsto enquire what kind of marriage I had LOVE or Arranged(is it any of their Business???).When te connection, the flat everything is in my name and I have the neccessary documents to prove and substantiate the same, why the insistance for a RATION CARD. CAN somebody at HPCL please resolve my problem?
The complaint is genuine. Every one is facing the same problem. HPCL authority must take action against the distributor to control black of Gas. Consumer should not be deprived of door delivery . The Hon, ble Minister Food and Civil Supply has issued one press note that consumer will get refilling cylinder immediately within 48 hours but the distributors are making money violating the orders of Minister and administration. The reply of gas agency prooves that their mischief has been approved by the HPCL authorities. Why don, t HPCL took initiative like Indian Oil Corporation to control mischief of gas agencies by collecting feedback from consumers through Postal Department (adress verification and cylinder receipt information)

Rightly so. Delay in delivery of Coocking gas has become a regular feature, an apathy for common man. Authority must intervene to curb the menance of black marketing and commercialisation of coocking gas.

        Dear Sir,
        I am holding Gas connection of HP from Ratna Gas Agency. My consumer no. is 621356 and Dealer is Ratna Gas Agency,HMT hills colony, Kukatpally, Hyderabad.
        I have less usage of Gas due to which I book gas once in a 4 or 5 months. Last time I have booked Gas on 09.03.2010.

        Recently I have booked Gas on 09.08.2010 as expressed the urgency to the dealer that it should be delivered within 3 days as there is no alternate at home. till today I did not receive the gas at my home and I need to get the food from outside for my family and kids.

        Please treat it urgent and deliver the gas on today itself without fail.

        HP Gas Cylinder Refill — selling tea pouch forcefully with every refill

        Dear Sir,
        Good Afternoon
        Your dealer of HP Gas agency at Sardulgarh, District-Mansa Punjab is selling a tea bag of 250 gms in Rs 50/- with every refil of gas. Is it as per company instructions or not. Every tea pauch have an HP-Gas marka on it.

          HP Gas — POOR SECVICE & MISBEHAVOUR

          I am a user of hp gas (primer gas service) in sector 27 chandigarh.
          and my coustomer no. is 634141. i have face many of problems with this agency in many of time.
          very larg problem is a misbehavour of a booking clerk lady.
          in present i book my gas on 19/9/08 and they told me for 24/9/08. when i go for recipt in office they tell for next week and misbehavour with me.
          they dont have any manner how to behavour with coustomer.

          This is M.V.S.Murty, from education services would like to inform you that my Gas Agency is Sri Venkateswara gas Agency located at Bobbili Town in Vizianagaram Dist is making monopoly in the gas supply they never lift the phone which they have given in bill and public paper announcement as a employ it is not possible to go and book a gas refilling personally if go and give they are skipping the registration number and supplying the gas those who have booked after me and taking more than 20 days to supply if we asked their behaviour is very bad in reply you can make sudden checkup in my case as follows

                Hello,
                My name is Nomaan Qureshi. I am living at 307/A, Habiba Manzil near Meraj Manzil, Kausa , Mumbra, Dist-Thane. 400612. The kitchen Gas agency here are compelling comsumer to buy unneccesory product to them. For example, If you buy a new connection, Then it is compulsory to buy following products else they will not give you connection.

                1- 2 kg. Tea bag worth Rs 400 and above.
                2- Kitchen appron worth Rs.300 and above.
                3- Gas Stove. Starts from Rs 1500 onwards.

                Let me explain you my personal experience, The regulator of my gas stove were damaged. I called service man and he adviced to buy new one. He told me to just contact agency and they will provide regulator with the charges of Rs 25. When I went there and I told that I want to buy new regulator, they compelled me to buy1/4 kg of tea i:e worth rs 100 ( 400/kg). They told me that I have to buy this tea or else they will not give me regulator.
                I request you to please look into this issue asap. As it is not for one person or one family, it is for entire city.
                RESIDENTIAL GAS USE FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSE.

                  I HAVE MADE A BOOKING ON 28-07-10 AND I REQUESTED THEM THAT I HAVE SINGLE CYLINDER CAN YOU PLEASE MAKE THE DELIVERY LITTLE EARLY AND IN REPLY THEY SAID OK MADAM. BUT AFTER 7DAYS AGAIN WHEN I REQUESTED THEM TO TELL ME THE EXACT DATE OF DELIVERY THEY SAID YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER 15 DAYS. MY QUESTION TO YOU ALL THAT WHY WE HAD TO FACE THE PROBLEM REPEATEDLY WITHOUT ANY NOTICE OF CRISIS IN THE GAS. PLEASE SIR THIS IS MY EARNEST REQUEST TO YOU PLEASE TAKE A SERIOUS ACTION AGAINST THIS M/S MAHANTI ENTERPRISE.

                    Hi,

                    Today while filling the petrol in my car, i found some strange behaviour from fuel fillling agent.this is common behaviour i saw at all gas station.While filling the petrol, one person continues talks to you for diverting your vision from fuel indicator and other one fills the fuel.Normally when i fill the petrol in my car it takes time to full the tank but this time when i was there at HP petrol pump on sv road malad near chincholi bandar road, i found fuel filling agent are filling less petrol. when i asked one of the person, he was telling me that your fuel tank must be empty but when i asked him that how can petrol filled nos are higher than capacity of petrol tank then he said your patrol tank capacity is wrong and check with your car vendor.

                    this i have never faced before, i see lots of complaints but what action is being taken ?

                    how do we cross check whether this complaints are taken seriously?

                    HP Petrol pump — forced selling turbo petrol

                    sir i am a daily cunsumer of petrol pump, in rourkela all the hp petrol pumps are forcely selling only turbopetrol to all the custmer, they told compny not want to sell normal petrol so they only sell turbo petrol to benifit more money company and themselfs.

                    Petrol — Filling less petrol

                    This is second time that I have experienced the AMAR SERVICE STATION, Dealers: marathahalli, Bangalore-37 has filled less petrol in my car than the correct amount. On earlier occasion I failed to asked for the Receipt. Today I have the receipt with me. I asked for 20 Lit of petrol and paid the amount of Rs 1013 in Cash. But to my surprise the petrol I filled is about only 15 to 16 litres as my fuel indicator would show. Last time also I have experienced less milage and this time I could phisically check that the petrol is less and it is not 20 litres at all.

                    I tried to contact them in the telephone number given in the receipt but could not do so because they do not reflect the latest No on it and I get and information as follws "the number does not appear in the changed numbers list".

                    I would like to request the authorities to take necessary action for regularising the issue of petrol and refund my money.

                    HP — Less petrol

                    Sir / Madam,
                    The petrol bunk between Gunidy railway station and le meridien hotel, always supply less petrol. Monday I asked to put for Rs.500 for my car. But they supplied for Rs.200 and then innocently filled Rs.300. But it didn't reached the usual point. So today again purposely I went to the same petrol bunk and asked to put for Rs.1000. Again they filled for Rs.300 first and then filled for Rs.700. I went and met the Manager, gave my complaint. But he not even respond me properly.
                    Kindly take action. Atleast in future, Hereafter nobody should suffer like me

                    Bharat petrol — Less gas

                    Hi,

                    Gas station which is opposite to Jayachandran Nagar, Jalladempet, Pallikarani always gives less petrol. If you ask for 100 Rs the guy who supplies the oil enter Rs 50 as if he didn't listen to the amount (but he won’t switch on the pump by the same time another worker divert us by telling us move the vehicle etc) what we said early after that if we will reset meter to 50 and fill the gas. But actually he filled it for only Rs 50 it happened 3 times after that we avoid going there

                    HP Petrol pump — NOISE POLLUTION AND GAS LEAKS

                    i am NAREN from chembur i have to complain about HP PETROL PUMP nera my house because in night the NOISE POLLUTION and GAS LEAK is very much from last 10 months and one AUTO RIKSHAH also burns. And now he is putting and petropls tanks nera my house its an big problem in day also and night also. U can accept my problem and give me answers as soon as possible.........

                      Sub: Complaint against irresponsible gas dealer.

                      I am the consumer of HP gas since 15 years. My consumer number 2460567.

                      Here by I want to inform you that the above said agency is not providing good service. They are ignoring our telephone booking .Most of the time they are absence of mind. During refilling time they are not following seniority list. Every booking is delayed by there negligence in work. It causes very much inconvenience to my family. I am unable to have a peace of mind because of their negligence and ignorance. Kindly take necessary action against them. If possible change my service with suitable prompt dealer near by Ayyappa nagar, KK nagar area.

                      H.P. Gas agency. — Irresponsible Agency.

                      Our customer no is 608052. We face severe harassment from Premier gas agency, adyar, kasturiba nagar. Chennai. They do not attend calls at prime time and hung calls all of sudden. Also they do not provide the waiting number. On 17 of december we had registered for a HP cylinder and today on 28 of Jan, they say no such request was made. The delivery boys are worst who never carry a badge. They even taunt us on not paying Rs 15 more than the cylinder cost as their money. On informing the Gas agency about it they ask us to pay what the delivery boy demands.We have never faced such incidents. We request you to take severe action.

                      WITHOUT BOOKING THE DID'NT DELIVER GAS BUT SUPPOSED I AM BOOKING ON PHONE AT 1.55 PM THEY CANT PICKED UP THE PHONE BECOSE THE LUNC TIME IS 200 TO 300. EVEN 255. THEY CANT PIKED UP THE PHONE.

                      IF I CALLED THEM AT 5.00 PM THE CANT RECIEVED BECOSE THE THINK THEIR OFFICE TIME IS FINISH. AND OFFICE TIME IS 9.00AM TO 6.00PM.

                      WHY THIS IS DOUBLE PERSONALITY.

                        I have booked HP cyliinder for refil from 45 days.it was due on first week of july . I have been to the booking office
                        thrice ,made numerous phone call. they tell me delivery person is not available. Ramji khimji talegaon is making
                        people come to their godown and que for 1-2 hrs everyday .this has become a means of saving money as they
                        find it cheaper for people to come and pick up cylinder.Ramji Khimji also makes compulsary to buy gas stove
                        from them for new connections. it cost Rs 8000 to 12000 for getting new connection. could you kindly look in this matter as I feel this is against law.

                          I m from patna ,raja bazar,my consumer no. is D-8697.I have booked my gas number a month ago but still not got the cylinder. I am very much frustated by your slow service.Its my request to your company to be active in your duties and to provide fast service .
                          I had book the gas on 21/12/2012 my customer id--619760 & sms booking no is 259194 & the agency is Dasmesh gas agency in sion .after 6 days when i am speaking with the custmer care helpline staff they behave like a stuppid fellow they don't khow how to speak with the custmer one is saying system was down, another one is saying call after on hrs third person is saying;; haa Bolo sun raha hoo;;they don't khow how to handle the client from morning i am still following the help line .if your people talking like a fool pls close your call centre helpline otherwise it will spoil the name of your company.

                            This happened during our trip from navi Mumbai to Bangalore for a business trip.
                            We Started Tuesday night 20th July 2010 at 8:00 P.M from Navi Mumbai for Bangalore- destination -Electronic city Bangalore. Car - Ford Fusion (P) .
                            First Stop was at HP Pump near Khargar where we topped up the Fuel Tank .
                            We Were doing good times till hubli which we passed around 3:30 A.M. Fuel was getting really low and we wanted to refuel. I spotted one HP (looked new) on the opp side, towards mumbai (shigaon) of the road, near the Bankapur toll naka (abt 10-15 kms before).
                            We were the first at the Pump as the attendants were also not around . We got them after banging on the glass door inside the cabin where they were sleeping. After 10 minutes we had filled 41 litres of Power Petrol @ 59Rs. Per litre.
                            Now, starts the Trouble!! I tried to crank the car after the fuel was completely filled up. My car started ,shuddered and stopped. After that the car just refused to start. This is around 430 am
                            Called the petrol bunk attendant to complain about the situation and to which he refuted and confidently said the problem is with the car only.
                            Then we started thinking what could have gone wrong as I had come from bombay till here covering around 600 Km and suddenly after filling up,the car wont start.
                            We initially suspected battery problem, but the voltages and everthing was showing ok. Tried push starting that too did not work!
                            I feared the worse !
                            It was about 4:30 A.M in the morning. we franatically tried calling ford service helpline ( their main road side assistance help line number was switched off!!) some how managed to get on the phone the Metro ford service guys at Hubli, explained the problem to them and they said they will be on their way in about an hour or so, which they did couple of hours later. They also suspected battery problem. Infact they were almiost sure about it.
                            Meanwhile, I rechecked my batteries and I could clearly see the battery showing about 12 volts and not going below 9 volts wile cranking also rest of the battery operated stuff worked fine.
                            Tried push starting for 3-4 times and gave up..again tried cranking innumerable times and gave up.
                            Since I had the OBD connected to the laptop i quickly scanned for any DTCs, but that was all ok, there was no error codes.
                            Meanwhile , we just checked the smell of the petrol in car and it smelt weird, almost like kerosene or whatever but definitely not like petrol, immediately we lodged a complain at the HP call center IVR and also called the local bunk Manager/Owner.
                            Some local guys also confirmed that the petrol might be culprit. The manager arrived and he was all like there is no problem with the petrol here and we all regularly check and the HPCL guys also visit and bla bla bla...

                            The metro ford guys also arrived till then , it was almost 7:30 in the morning, We were tormented by out plight, exhauhested will all the yelling which was going on, and we had no clue on what kind of mess we are getting into.
                            The ford guys opened up the fuel connector pipe near the engine and cranked the engine, what came out of the pipe was shocking!
                            It was water and not petrol !
                            He immediately told that there is water in the tank!
                            We really got wild and started confronting the manager who was in no mood to accept what he just saw. Which he later then accepted as there was all proof in front of him to prove that there was water in the petrol filled in our tank.
                            In all the commotion we quickly asked the ford guys what level of damage this might have caused to the engine and how do we get back on the road again.
                            He said the car has to be towed down to their service station (about 60 kms opp way) , the fuel tank , the spark plugs all has to be cleaned and then only it will start.
                            We had no other option but to have the vehicle towed back, meanwhile a temporrary settlement was made between the manager of the petrol bunk and us that he would refund the money of the petrol we filled and all the labour cost of the cleanup job.
                            We had to be in b'lore the same day, so we reluctantly agreed for the same and took the photos etc. and were on our way to metro ford, hubli. It took about 4 hours to undo the mess. And we were finally able to hit the road by 2:00 Pm and reached Bangalore Electronic City by 7:30 P.M.
                            We missed our Appointment with our customer in Bangalore and had to reschedule the same for the next day. This was the most frustrating time we have ever had . We fill petrol regularly from HPCL and now we are quite afraid to continue to do so after this horrifying experience.
                            We are writing this to inform you that we are taking Legal measures against HPCL and going to the Media with this ordeal we had to go through - Our Precious time wasted stranded on the highway ; Fear of being attacked in an isolated place on NH4 in the darkness of the night ; Our Car Damaged due to adulterated Petrol ; prospect of Losing our customer due to the delay in attending the meeting.
                            We also fear long term damage to our car which we are most concerned about.

                              We, the consumer at Pampore want to highlight some points towards your goodself

                              1. There is no availability of HP GAS at Pampore for which the consumers had to suffer a lot and had to procure the Gas from black by incurring extra money.

                              2. There is no GAS AGENCY from your side at pampore that could made the gas available right on time.

                              3. There is a GAS REFILLING PLANT at Pampore itself where from the supply of the gas is made available to the whole Kashmir Division. But unfortunately, no provision for supply of Gas is available for the pampore itself as we have provided the land for the said GAS REFILLING PLANT.

                              Keeping in view the above mentioned facts, we the people of pampore request your goodself to kindly look into the matter on priority as a speical case either by opening HP GAS OUTLET or by opeing GAS OUTLET COUNTER at GAS REFILLING STATION Pampore so that the people of pampore may not suffer any more.

                              Hoping an early expeditious action at your end.

                                Sir,

                                I the undersigned Santosh was a regular customer of HP Petrol Pumps. This complaint is regarding filling less quantity of petrol & unnecessarily spilling the petrol over the tank it is happening regularly by pump operators at Marathalli next to Brand factory.

                                When i questioned the spilling/filling less manager started misbehaving speaking bad words with his workers and beat me also. Lot of people witnessed the same.

                                This is the second time i am facing this problem. This you can try it your self . Go with a vehicle which doesnt have a fuel gauge/indicator and ask him to fill petrol of 300/- or more, he will try to divert your attention by asking change or something other by the time you look around the filling of the petrol is finished,

                                Such kind of service and fraudulent behavior in pumps baring your company name only serves the purpose of tarnishing the company name and alienate customers from visiting HP pumps when given a choice. I personally have headed to advices of my friends and stopped visiting HP pumps in other parts of the city where there is a choice.

                                Please treat this as an official complaint and take action as appropriate.

                                      HPCL/LPG Gas — LPG Domestic gas

                                      Sir,
                                      My consumer no is 658841.I have booked for a reffil on 15.01.2009 vide booking sl.no 8185.To day i.e., on 29.01.2009 the agency has sent cylinder to our house .They charged an amount of Rs.365.00 per cylinder.But as we know rate of LPG has reduced from midnight of 28.01.2009, @ Rs25.00 per cylinder.So I refused them to receive the Gas at the previous price.
                                      I would therefore request you to kindly take necessary steps for the above.
