HI,
I booked my HP Gas cylinder on Jan 15 but till today (Jan 24,2008) no delivery. Number is always engaged (i doubt that they put aside the receiver). Even if you get them on phone, they always says it will be delivered today by evening. Dont know what to do?

Cylinder not delivered even after 11 days of booking, Number engage
Dear Sir,
I have booked my HP Gas cylinder on Nav 17 but till today (Nov 28, 2009) no delivery. Number is always engaged (i doubt that they put aside the receiver). Even if you get them on phone, they always says it will be delivered when lory of gas recieved from plant. Dont know what to do?

    hi,

    i have booked a cyclinder online booking on our 24 hrs helpline no
    booking no is 10 on that day
    but my agency have received on 22/01/08 he have tell me to booking on that day i receive
    Maharashtra gas agency Powai person have not proper response to me he speak rudely to me always call to him all person talk rudely to all i have complaint for agency staff and its problem past one also to me

    agency have not receive th booking no online to them
    what the problem on your system so reply me fast
    my consumer no is 606162 and he have deliver always in more than 10 days after what the solution of the problem tell me fast on reply me
    my cyclinder is not come the agency person tell me it come more than 5 days to taken for delivery

      I am a consumer of HP Gas - Consumer No. 601713 - From Ms Nagalakshmi Gas Agency, Manavalanagar, Thiruvallur Dist. 602002

      The cylinder Delivery boy demands Rs.300/-per cylinder whenever he delivers. He has given it in writing on the reciept issued by Gas Agency which says the cost is Rs,289/- only. He informs that the agency is not paying any salary for the delivery and hence the Agency has instructed him to collect Rs.300/-

      I reported the matter to the Gas Agency Tel.No.[protected] two weks back about the incident but it seems they have not taken any action till date though they promised action will be taken against him. The Delivery boy also threatens with dire consequences in case Rs.300/- is not given to him.

      Will the authorities look into this and take remedial action.

      My consumer number is 617952. I am unable to contact Ratna gas agency (dealer code 1515800) on given phone numbers[protected]. Phone comes always busy or nobody picks it up. Would you please help me to send one cylinder. Also please launch a complaint against poor service from the Ratna gas agency. I hope you will get improved the service from them(at least not keep the phone engaged always)

      I made so many complaints to Head office : Name Sesachari, email id : [protected]@hpcl.co.in . But it went in vain.
      Please advice how to get the new gas cylinders in Tiruvallur... And also let me know the agencies available and address of the same.
      New contact numbers for Ratna gas agency are 20040942, 20040943
      Dont go for Nagalakshmi Agency in thiruvalur bcz These people service is not good. we cant book and get cylinder in right time. customer cant contact them becoz continuously they keep on engaged the phone.

Whenever we try to book gas on phone numbers provided by the dealer, no one picks the phone.Ever times is going on busy or cross the full ring no body can pickup the phone .         Raj Flame gas agency — Don't Pick Phone

        We have connections of Indian Gas . Consumer numbers are as- Rf 04630. Dealer is "Raj Flame, Delhi-59". Whenever we try to book gas on phone numbers provided by the dealer, no one picks the phone.Ever times is going on busy or cross the full ring no body can pickup the phone .           I deposited all the money for the new gas connection on 6th jan,2008 from the KANCHAN FLAME dealer code 394920
          ,but till now i have not get the Cylinder and whenever i tried to phone the concearn people they are not receving the phone ,they disconnect the phone .If luckly connect they behave rudly and told no gas is available .
          But the fact is that they are selling the gas in black with his relatives.

          I don,t know is it take some change or not.
          but still wait for response from the HP gas head authority

          We cant express how dull they are,,
          we had made complain on 25 Jan they were not ready to send after 30days also.
          after saying we will complaint ablut you guys in consumer forum they are ok with is go ahead was thier statment.
          n frankly if your agency call LAXMI Gas of Kurla E nehru naga continue to be same we are going to place complaint at consumer forum.

          Dear Sir,
          I am in a privet job in construction industries and I used to have been transfered after two /three years years.Now I have been transfered from Ludhiana( Punjab) To Palvoncha (A.P), I took transfer voucher for my LPG gas connection and contacted local gas agency to give the gas connection.But I am frustated to listen his reply. He told that no gas cylinder stock is with him and it will take 2-3 month to give my connectin.He is even not receiving my T.V for processing the same.
          My question is as follows
          1.Can any body continue with his normal routeen without any gas connection/coking the food
          2. Is there human face regarding above problem of Gas Marketig companeies.
          3.Guide me the procedure so that I can get my connection as soon as possible.

          Recently jaykay solutions have posted advertisement for form filling, i have paied 30000 to have contract with client. i had contract with client but once the contract has done . one of ht eperson form jaykay called Mr.Pandey who used to contact me daily till contract but now his phone has been swithoff and they are not responding to mail.

          My consumer no is- 613195. I am using your gas for long times. My dealer (JAY KAY GAS CO, 1, Utadanga Road, Kokata- 700 004.)is always for asking for extra money by any means. I have to buy coupons regularly. I have deposit money for compulsory deposit. At present, they are asking for asking for Rs- 210.00. Rs- 170.00 for new pipe and Rs-40.00 for compulsory deposit for checking.
          In the past, none of their service person never visited our residence although they are collecting money by way of deposit for compulsory checking.
          Why I shall buy a pipe from them at a much higher price from the market. Difference is more than Rs- 100.00 from open market.
          Not only that I always have to pay extra money to the delivery man because they are bringing cylinder for me.
          Now, without informing me they have locked delivery of my cylinder, and saying they will not deliver unless I shall deposit Rs-210 for pipe and checking.
          I think it is a wrongful act for a dealer to squeeze the customer and always insist them to buying various items at a very high price from the market.

          This is my fourth compliant two in Customer Care Cell and in web site no action has initiated, customer in Cochin is totally in active. Even after passing of a month, Booked on vide No. 262319 dt.20.09.09, refill cylinder not yet delivered. On the day of Deepavali no gas empty cylinder we had food from out side, this is a Deeplai gift from HP gas, at the time of Onam same thing was happened, that was Onam gift, since last two days we had food from out side. I cannot afford out side food for every day. This is personal vendetta and ego of Shri. Salim and Shri, . Sathish. My problem is not solved with in two days my entire family will commit suicide.

          iam in west mambalam, iam using the HP gas. the man who was supplying the gas, asking the Rs 20.if i asked the reason, he blackmailed that he won't supply the gas at proper time.this was keep on going long time.i don't know where to complaint.

          I am prasenjit Modak, residence at grafa, solok pally, Kolkata-78 and a HP gas cutomer since 2008.Consumer no:614644.Last wednesday dated 27.10.10 i have received a gas cylender booked on last week.After receiving the gas i have seen gas was continuously leaking and whole home was spread a bad smell.After that I had lodged a complain my nearest dealer ANUKHAN FUEL SERVICE, sontoshpur at 4.30pm.They told me that sent a technician.but they didnot come, and at 6.30pm i m trying several times to their office phone but no one had picked the phone.Then I called emergency HP gas service.At 9.15pm a good technician has come and see the serious issue.And write down a slip to change the gas.Yesterday a delivery man has come and change the gas.

          So I kindly request you that see the serious matter and take action against the careless dealer & his stuffs.I have full faith on your service and expect good service in future.

          Dear Sir,
          I am customer of the Tyagi Gas Service, Nand Gram, Ghaziabad (HP Gas) since 1996. Before some times Tyagi Gas service has surrendered him and hand over the charge of gas suplies to the Pawar Gas Service, Raj Nagar, Ghaziabad.
          My Gas consumer Number is 605784, I have booked my gas on 26.10.2010 and they have said that you have collect the gas cylender within a week. But niether they have provided the gas nor they have contact to me. After that I was booked my gas cylender on 08.11.2010 and they have told me that you did not booked your gas on 26.11.2010 and we booked your gas on 08.11.2010 and you collect your cylender within four days. After passing the Five days after booking the gas cylender, they could not sent the cylender up till date i.e. 12.11.2010. I have two cylender and they are empty now on 12.11.2010. You tell me what is the reason not to provide the gas cylender up till date. you kindly confirmed me at my mobile No. [protected].

          My name is Davis Samadhanam my H.P gas consumer no is 612242.. and my distributer is UDYAN GAS COMPANY... sir i am costomer from 3 years and still i am not getting my cylinder at home.. every month i have to go to distributer office.. mostly i am residing outside for office work.. my mom dad are unable to get cylinder from there.. nowadays after booking they said we will end your home and they are not sending the cylinder at home.. there is lots of corruption in UDYAN GAS COMPANY, RANJHI, JABALPUR.. full of black marketing... cylinder is easily available to hotels for 500 rs.. plz solve this problem... and free us from black marketing...

          Hi,

          I had registered a complaint for delayed release of DBC[protected]. As a resolution, I was asked to contact the gas agency. The gas agency quoted a price of Rs. 2500 for the DBC + a forced sale of a pressure cooker. I was refused a DBC without the pressure cooker.

          Is this your idea of a resolution?

          Also, had booked a refill on Feb 17th. No sign of it yet. What kind of an operation are your running exactly? Why can't you change the agency? They're really giving your company a very, very bad reputation.

          My gas agency is SMART GAS AGENCY with code no.16283300. My consumer No. is 622851. I booked for refill on 23.12.2011. but could not get the delivery even today i.e. on 27.1.2011. I got the sms on 22.1.2011 that the refill delivery will be made within 48 hours vide cash memo No.162070. But the delivery is still pending. The gas owner Mr.chawla is not responding to my call nor his officials at Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi's officials. This happens every month. Earlier also during the month of October 2011 I made the similar complaint of non supplying the refill at HP Gas consumer zone. Then one official Mr.Vdhyabhushab called me and assured me that this thing will not happen in future. But again the same story is being repeated. Mine is a joint family and one cylinder does not suffice for the whole month. These people of SMART GAS AGENCY do not listen and moreover their behavior is very rude. They do not respond to the calls of the customers it keep on ringing. I assume they are misusing the refilled cylinder. My humble request to you is to kindly check the irregularity and intervene in the matter why there is delay in supply of refill. I also made complaint on HP Consumer Zone and tried to write another complaint but it was posted that my earlier complaint No.11043274 and 11048103 is open with them. On tracking the same it was found that the same has been closed. But on HP Consumer Zone I am not being allowed to lodge another complaint. Kindly help. SMART GAS AGENCY has crossed the height of nuisance. You are requested to kindly check on it and save the people from harrassment being made by the said agency.

          When I was proposed for new connection the distributors(varadvinayak gas agency) are asking to purchase stove. I am having one stove with ISI certified as per the requirement from HP GAS.           maruthi gas company — HP Gas not deliver on time

          Its really painful to make a complaint that Maruthi gas agency has failed to live up to the expectation of consumer from HPCL. This agency is now fully involved in selling cylinders on road to illegal uses of cars who should have commercial cylinder. the staff at this agency is making false promises to me for past one year and delibrately the gas is delivered after 45- 60 days of booking with sily excuse of nonavailabilty of somebody at home whereas my house is never locked due presence of full time maid .this situation is continuing for a period of one year and my booking & delivery records may be checked.there are a lot of customers who thinks the same way but keeps the mum as HPCL do not have any customer care for such complaints. In my view the officers at HPCL has some nexus with this agency otherwise their franchise should have been cancelled a long back. It is requested that an immediate action shall be taken or i shall raise the matter to the highest authorities

            HP Consumer Gas — Very Very Worst service From HP Consumer GAS Distributor

            I have a HP consumer GAS connection in MARUTI GAS SERVICE - NAMAKKAL - TAMILNADU - INDIA. They are providing gas cylinder every 50 days once. This time period is so long. I don't know the datealis about booking time period b/w two consecutive booking. But this 50 days is too much. If we ask new cylinder before 50 days they won't provide. The indian Government must inform the proper rules about consumer gas service prcocedure to customers. In most of the places the Distributors will sell the cylinders with high price in BLACK MARKET. I think for this reason only they are increasing the duration b/w two consecutive bookings.

            i went to Praveena Gas agency in Hyderabad at Chintal.They will not provide the information to the customer & they will not give proper response also.

            I am having only a single cylinder connection and whenever i wanted a refill i am not able to reach any of their phone numbers . It is always engaged . I am a working proffessional and i have to spend my time to go their place which is nearly 2 km away from my house to book. Also you have to face a unsavoury welcome from them, the way they speak, i dont know how these people were selected .

            It takes nearly 21 days for refill . What will be the position of a single cylinder household? and i can see the delivery boys deleivering the cylinder which is booked on my name to another household in black market .

            kindly look into it seriously or i will be disconnecting my services with HP .

            HP Gas- Ludhiana — the worst excuse ever

            where is the friendly gas- HP _ when you see one please show me too, exspecially in Ludhiana.
            I went to Kaypee Gas Agency near Jagroan Bridge to get a "transfer in " from another city.
            I met a rude face saying that she cannot issue cylinder because she does not have "paper" to type the transfer in, saying it wil take one week to get the paper. Absolutely rideculous!!! people like these should be put in jail and the gas agencies taken away from them but as things would be she would have STRONG political connections. God help india from the indians.

            Priya Gas agency - HP — Too much delay in delivery

            I have booked cylinder on[protected], on that day they have told me within 10 days can expect cylinder ( we are 6 in family members ) One cylinder can be used upto 30 days only after that we can't. In this situation, they are taking too much time till today, I have not received the cylinder - very poor response from preya gas agency (slapped the phone much irritating one) - tiruvottiyur, near by people are getting cylinder regularly, we are new to this area (also we have enquired the delivery man he told that "no bill available in your name". but past seven days daily, I have received the information from preya gas agency that I will get the cylinder today itself, but no cylinder has been delivered. we are in crysis, kindly help us to get the cylinder in stipulated time.

            HP Gas — Don't have manner to talk with customer

            Amrapali Gas Agency, chinchwad based distributor for HP gas. There owner/manager dont have manner to talk with customer also he dont have knoledge about the product and status of requests made. Dont have to listen to others, its shameless to have such manager/owner.

            I have a HP GAS connection vide Consumer No-610553, at HP GAS DEALER :SMRUTI GAS, 194, Bapuji Nagar, BHUBANESWAR, ORISSA.The aforesaid dealer is turning deaf ear to any complaint in any mergency case in last couple of months.I have sent my complain through this forum one month before, as the dealer was not responding and registering complaint.Rather the staffs misbehaving when we are persuing them about our complain.Everyday they are telling we will definitely send our mechanic to check your connection.They are also not delivering refill cylinder timely.The office phone is showing busy always, so it's really difficult to lodged a complaint at the time of need.Please take appropriate action as this became a regular feature of this dealer.

            I had booked my gas and received today i.e. 13/08/09 But the gas supplied was without a seal, and the cylinder seemed to feel empty. i asked the gas fellow to give me a cylinder with the seal. he managed to bring one with a seal which didn't look very genuine, any ways he said that he would check the cylinder for leakage and he pulled the seal in such a way that the seal came out fully without breaking. he kept the cylinder and wanted to take back the seal so that he could cheat someone else.

            please ensure that you look into this matter, and take prompt action against them so that we are not cheated.

            Dear Sir,

            I shifted from Mumbai to Noida, So I took the TV (Termination voucher) for transfer connection of HP Gas from Mumbai with all formalities.

            In my TV, transfer location is mentioned as "SAFE CUSTODY" because at that time it was not sure about the location whether I have to stay in Noida or delhi so in safe side dealer mentioned "SAFE CUSTODY" in the document TV.

            Now here in noida's delear is creating problem they are telling instead of "SAFE CUSTODY" it should be transfer location as NOIDA. Due to this they are not agree to transfer my gas connection .

            Can you suggest what should I do pls let me know in details.

            Can the friendly gas can supply one cylinder for every month, there is no system in supplying gas cylinder booking on 18.08.09 and deliver is on 19.09.09. I do not under stand the criteria for delivering the cylinder, the agencies always avoiding the customers and pass on negative message i.e cylinder will supply next week and go on. Getting your customer care in Cochin unit very difficult, I do not know what the function of the Customer Care in Cochin is?. I booked refill boking no. 262319 dt. 20.09.09, saying deliver will be on only after 19th October the clerk sitting on telephone is not interested hearing customers problem and never conveyed correct message. Since one year I am hearing shortage of cylinder this shortage only for poor customers, when will be shortage ending. Begging for cylinder from your agency is highly objectionable. Being so called FRIENDLY GAS is not fit in the case of your SAI Gas Agency, Cochin. Friendly means only for influential individuals/agencies and not for poor customers.
            this is my second complint that i have placed before hp gas cumer care first it was went in vein. this time authority may please open the eyes and please see the poor customers compliant
            Yesterday there was a major gas cylinder leakage in my house because of the washer problem in the cylinder. I gave a call to the HP Gas agency (Manjunatha agency, JP Nagar, Bangalore) to send some one immediately. They casually said they will send some one in 2 hours. Then i mentioned that its a major leakage, they agreed to send in half an hour. In the mean time i removed the regulator myself and disconnected the cylinder. I was waiting outside my house so that I can help them locate the address to learn that no one came even after 2 hours. Is this the response we get for emergency calls? What if some accident had happened just because of this? I here by lodging a compliant against the Manjunatha agency for not providing adequate service. I request the concerned authorities to take the strict action.
            I am stongly disagree with HP gas service in tiruviyanmayur, chennai. I want new connection when i spoke with the staff i really think that i don't need hp connection. HP is showing their poor attitude when we are in need. HP has forget how to speak with their customers.
            Stupid HP employees spoil the human behaviour. I don't know whether HP is wantedly doing this or they forget they are indians.

            Every time we book for a cylinder with the above gas agency we have had issues with not being responded on a timely basis.

            First of all the telephone lines are not accessible as nobody responds when called,
            If in case we manage to reach someone over the phone then they respond stating that the gas cylinder will be delivered in next two day, but at least it takes 5 to 10 days for them to deliver the cylinder and this is done only if there is a repeated followup from our end, Even by having 2 cylinders we are not able to manage with them because of repeated delay in delivering the cylinder every time it is booked, coz as per the procedure the next booking is accepted only after 25 days from the date of delivery of the previous supply.
            for example we had received the last supply on 14th Nov 2009 and now we have booked for another cylinder on 10th Dec 2009 however its 16th Dec today and we have still not received it. The present scenario is that both the cylinders are empty.
            Even today they had promised that the cylinder will be delivered at any cost but we did not hear any response till 4 PM, when called back the receptionist by Name Ms Sri Devi informed that there is still one more hour left for the day, but we have not received it till 8 PM,

            Sir, this is the worst service we have received since the time we have being dealing with the above agency, The attitude of people who receive the phone is even more horrible, we request you to take appropriate action and ensure that this negligence from the gas agency will be dealt with in appropriate manner
            Mostly agencies number don't work and customer care people are not having manners how to talk with customers always they people feel nap on call. Last three days I am trying to contact Sarita Vihar gas agency but till no response.             HP gas dealers very badly require training on customer service and operations. I am really surprised to see such level of poor customer care.
            They have given us one cyliender & told us you will get one another in after two months it is ok no problem. But when the our first stock is finished & i already book gas cyliender on date 7 Jan 2010 but they still not deliver at our home which is near to area.

            So how can we bear this troublement.
            I booked my cylinder on 1st of january at DEVIDAYAL ENTERPRISES and when tried to know the status of my booking it said all the bookings upto 6th jan has been delivered...though it wasnt delivered to us..

            We again booked it several times and our last booking was on 12th JAn...and still the cylinder is not been delivered..when tried to call at the complaint number no one even bothered to answer the call...

            I read it in the newspaper that all the bookings of cylinder would be cleared in 48 hours..and as you can see its been much more than that...which comletely contradicts what you say about your service and the what kind of service you actually provide..

            i have complent lst 4 days in wadala agency.
            but koi sunne wala nahi hai. mera gas likage ho raha hai. agar batla fat gaya ya kuchh ho gaya to kaun jimmedar hoga.
            I booked gas for home delivery 6 days back and my booking no is 3/23 but till today 11.02.2010 not delivered. Whenever i make phone call to their representative, he says it will take 4-5 days more to deliver. I am very sorry to say we are facing much problem due to this type of service and it is regular happening with us request you to kindly take necessary action on this and please ask them to deliver the gas as early as possible.

            I was book a Extra cyllender tank(Rs.1800 Paid at the time of booking Extra Cyllender) from Kiran Gas Agency, 9 Anchor House Kondhwa Road, before three month. they has given me one date (05/03/2010) for delivery of that cyllender but when i was there they told me that come at evening the owner of agency is not here, i ask detail then they told me that the person who booked that cyllender was frod person and he has been terminated and you have to pay again for extra cyllender, i have already paid Rs.1800 Rupees and i have receipt for that. Then told me that what i do now??????

            I V.B.Madankar have been transferred on job from Ankleshwar city to Navsari .
            For transferring my cylinder and regulator from Ankleshwar to Navsari I went
            to Avdhoot gas agency but agency representative told me that
            agency is closed and i will have to go to Bharuch for surrendering my cylinder
            and regulator, when talk to representative at Bharuch agency he told me to go
            to Navsari agency, and ask them to transfer the same "ONLINE".
            When visited at Navsari agency (Mehul Gas Agency) they refused to do so
            and told me to go to Bharuch to surrender the cylinder and regulator and affix the
            stamp of transfer on original paper.
            Sir, would you like to explain the correct procedure to transfer Cylinder and Regulator
            "ONline".
            Also it is to mention that M/s Mehul Gas Agency is issuing new connection to customer by compelling to purchase the gas stove with at his own rate and then
            only issuing the new connection.
            Sir, it is requested to stop such forcefully issuing practice immediately to save
            public interest.

            My dealer of HP gas is Kalkaji Gas Sevice. i would like to post 3 complaints.
            1.There is always a long delay in delivery i.e Last time I booked a cylinder on 13 may 10 and delivered on 11 june 2010 and this time booked on 14 june 2010 (22 booking no.)but till date (14 july 2010)delivery has not made.
            2. For every delivery they charge Rs 15 extra.
            3. Phone call is never entertained.
            i had taken new cannecation at shrii entreprisses at bijapur but after taken slip to take cylinder, telling that u shold take from goddvan but as i reach goddavan thay told that cylinder not in stock, i told also supply to my home but thay told yhat not possible.
            after 4th time, i misss the slip, i dident get my cylinder, so what is solution for that !

            I have booked refile gas cylinder at V.S.M. GAS AGENCY BIJNOR U.P. on 30.07.10 but gas not delivered so far. she says there was no staock of cylinder and will delivered till 15.09.10 I got suprised the same day where the stock vanished.Till to day i didnot get the refile cylinder i.e even after passing of more than one and half month.My consumer No. is 16780 Staff is irresponsible and don't have manners to speak to costumers.

            I agree with all teh above comments. HP distributors have most pathetic service. I had booked gas on 14/12/2010 and till date I have not recieved it. I have tried calling them over 50 times. Most of the times phone don't get connected and at times if it does get connected, nobody picks up. I tired of this service. It is very disappointing to pay and not get the service.

            I had registered a complaint for delayed release of DBC[protected]. As a resolution, I was asked to contact the gas agency. The gas agency quoted a price of Rs. 2500 for the DBC + a forced sale of a pressure cooker. I was refused a DBC without the pressure cooker.

            Is this your idea of a resolution?

            Also, had booked a refill on Feb 17th. No sign of it yet. What kind of an operation are your running exactly? Why can't you change the agency? They're really giving your company a very, very bad reputation.

            I am holding gas connection with no 511921 with HPCL with distributor Mewar Jawa Gas agency, Udaipur Rajasthan. FIrstly they do not do booking upto 21 days after booking they are sending the cylinder upto 15-20 days time. last time I have to take one cylinder having 2.5Kg gas in Rs 100 and then my family can prepare and take food and we had to get food from outside for two days. Last month I had gone thru one news in News Paper that we can book the cylinder any time and it will take two days to deliver the cylinder by concerned agency. but distributor gives at least 8-10 days time to deliver the bbking and but they never deliver it before 15 days.

            Pls look into the matter and help ur customers.

            This is a formal, Strong complaint against Narender Gas Agency - Noida[protected].
            Though they never meet their SLA ..of providing the gas on time with usual excuses of Demand vs supply .

            But this time they have gone a step ahead with their stealth attitude.
            I had booked my refill on 6th march 2012, and I am yet to recieve the refill ...today is 22 nd march .
            Today morning the HP Tempo was selling the cylinders in 'Black " for Rs 900 near my residence .

            With ref to the above subjected matter here with I would like to bring to your immediate notice that from last more then 20 (Twenty) days I Mr.Praveen Dugar and my wife is continuously trying to book the refill and also doing regular follow up by visiting and calling your concerned office about the refill booking. As per your officials they had confirmed that in the same name Praveen Dugar one more consumer no (604111) is already exist, connection taken from Sri Shakti Gas Services M.R.Nagar.and due to which the refill booking is getting cancelled. In relates to this I would like to clarify that the copy of bill in which at the bottom it is clearly mentioned with agency Seal & Sign as the connection is transferred to Sri Ganesh Gas Service, No:119 Medavakkam Tank Road, Kilpauk, Chennai-600010 with new consumer no 631222.If the connection was already transferred to the said address then why my booking got cancelled? and even after the Transfer one refill was booked on 26/11/2011 and was delivered to us on 07/12/2012.Why such problem was not happened at the time of earlier booking. Yesterday[protected] when I visited agency again to check the status they says that as I had not booked the refill for more then 180 days the consumer no is blocked (SO Blocked).

            Here I am not able to understand why suddenly all such harassing things are happening with us. From last more then one week we are having our food in Hotels and even for our newly born baby we have to get so many things done which is only possible if we have the refill with us. Having the Gas Connection also we are now in a position where we are seeking helps from our Neighbors and Hotels.More over our monthly budget is also now completely disturbed and unnecessarily we have west lots of money. We are not able to understand what needs to be done.

            I request the concerned authorities to take immediate action.or else I hv to knock the door of Consumer Court.

                Sir,
                I am a consumer of HP GAS, My consumer No. is 663795, our Area Dealer is Maa Bhavani HP Gas Sels Corporation, 55/467 Manik Tala, Tamluk, Midnapore (East), West Bengal. I have booked gas on 31.12.2007, till today they have not delivered gas to me. When I ask them, they told me to collect gas from their shop. Tamluk is far from my residence (about 10 KM). How it is possible for one to carry gas in a public Bus? At the time of taking (transfer)connection, they assure home delivery. In my locality, they have a sub agent who deliver the gas. That sub agent shop is also not open for a month.

                Sir, please take some remedial action at your end urgently.

                It takes a lot to get a gas cylinder delivered. The agents seems to book the cylinders by themselves and do not deliver it on time.
                Dear Sir,

                I am very much regret to inform you that no one from the concerned HP Dealer [M/S. VANASTHALI GAS SERVICE[protected], VANASTHALIPURAM, HYDERABAD] has taken appropriate steps for providing an additional LPG Cylinder to me. Because I am having only single cylinder. Due to this, it is insufficient even for the maintenance of my family with a signle LPG cylinder. Particularly, I face more highly embarrass factor at the time of festival/guests coming. In this regard, I have approached personally for several times since last 6 months and the concerned In-charge is telling that, it will take another two months. Unfortunately, neither the In-charge nor any administrative authorities have accorded a careful consideration to my genuine difficulties. This complaint is being lodged after several requests of my family members to provide an extra/additional LPG cylinder under your rationing system.

                I did not write to you earlier, but I simply spoke verbally to the concerned customer care assistants, whom I found haughty beyond the limit. He not only, did not entertain my complaint but also challenged me to write to higher authorities. I find his haughtiness is not keeping with the nature of his duties towards good customer relationship management. I am fed up with such type of rude behaviour and immoral harassment of the HP Dealer [M/S. VANASTHALI GAS SERVICE[protected], VANASTHALIPURAM, HYDERABAD]. Whereas, the other dealers are providing the same facilities to the needy consumers.

                Would you like to look into the matter and take pains to expedite the matter at your earliest possible?

                The price of the red colour 'booking handbook' is Rs.45 and the dealer charging the full amount from the customers. My question is - Is it perfectly priced? I think the standard price of such item will be Rs.15 - Rs.20 maximum. Don't you think so?
                Please revise the price of the item and do the needful so that the customers do not feel it 'overcharged or overpriced'.
                I am sufferer of lohiya Gas agency etawah -206001 UP, hocker of the gas agency charged 20 rs extra for home delivery. After pay extra money, he never delivered cylinder in time specially during festival season. in festival or marriage season they sell directly in black market and honest customer is waiting for gas cylinder.in this regard recently case for example - i booked gas on 17-02-12 but due to holi festival they sell all the cylinders in black market and not supplied the cylinder till 12-03-12. Kindly look in to matter and take necessary steps against said gas agency.

                  Dear Sir,

                  we wish to inform you that we are resident of Shalimar Garden Extension -I, Sahibabad ,Ghaziabad-UP and user of HP gas . In our Area Panwar Gas Agency is authorized for HP Gas (LPG -domestic uses) Distribution.

                  Every Year particularly in winter season we get our cylinder delivery in not less than 20 days and they take net booking 21 days after delivery of the cylinder. i.e our next cylinder delivery span becomes 40 to 45 days which are very difficult to manage for a family.

                  booking date is 02.01.2008.
                  Expected delivery was 18.01.2008

                  but regret to inform that till today (19.01.2008) we have not received .
                  we request you to kindly look into the matter and do the needful if possible.

                  HP Gas — Late delivery of LPG filled Cylinder

                  Sir,

                  I am residing at Hastinapuri Colony, Sainikpuri, Secunderabad. I booked HP cylender on 2008 April last week. Till now (29.05.2008)I have not received the cylender. At present my spare cylender is also exhausted and am unable to cook and I am taking food from outside. Several times I contacted our distributer "Sreya Agencies" but always they are giving wrong committments. I am sorry to say that HP service & delivery is very poor and they have to take some strong action on these kind of distributers making customers fools.

                    respected sir we face a big problem that dealer in our area are giving tea packets forcefully with residential gas cylinders. we have to pay 20/- rupees extra for each cylinder. and if one refuges to have that tea packet than they donot give us cylinder too. i hope that u will take necessery steps as soon as possible thankig u . whole locality

                    I booked gas for home delivery on14.01.08 but till today 31.01.08 not deliver. Whenever i make phone call to their representative, he says tomorrow must be delivered. I am very sorry to say we are facing much problem due to this type of service and it is regular happening with HP. My Gas Agency Distributor is Kekan Gas Agency. Vishrantwadi. Pune.

                    Another thing that I booked 2nd Cylender no. in the year 2006. But till now i did not get my Cylender. Every time they are telling that "right now their is no stock, so u come after 15 days." This is happening last 6 months. There behaviour is also not good. The Manager Mr. Patil is not available in the office in office time. Can you help me out. or what i have to do.
                    Theh dealers have been very disturbing. they do not bother the consumer's problems.
                    My Gas transfer from one dealer to another dealer in the same city is taking ages. The current dealer is giving me a run around.

                    I am staying at Ramnagar, Bopkhel, Pune & my Gas Agency Distributor is Kekan Gas Agency. Vishrantwadi. Pune. All agencies deliver the cylinder to their customers at home delivery but the above mentioned agency could not deliver the cylinder at home in Ramnagar, Bopkhel area. The distributor vehicle came at Ganeshnagar area and they park the vehicle at Ganeshnagar. All customers in Ramnagar area collect their cylinder from Ganeshnagar, they are requested to them pl. delivered the cylinder at home but no reply.

                    I am requested you please consider our case sympathetically at the earliest.

                    When questioned the Delivery boy Sanne gowda Mobile No [protected] . Is behaving arrogantly and has not bothered to act on our request to take back the faulty cyclinder supplied which is fraud on the part of SLV gas agency must take appropriate action and replace the SEALED cyclinder.
                    i strongly condemn the arrogance and indiscipline attitude on the part of delivery boy sannegowda

                      i stay in matunga railway colony and anukul gas service is providing the cylindres in our area. the service of this agency is not at all good. we booked our gas on 30th of jan and till now hav'nt recieved our cylinder. whenever we call we get the same answer from those people that your gas will be sent tomorrow but they dont do it. its been five days we are calling them but still hav'nt got our gas and there is no alternate option for us to cook. i hereby register my complain to take strict action against these people as soon as possible and i hope we will get our cylinder by tomorrow.

                        the agency's phone has been engaged for the past four days.
                        does one have to go the gas agency each time to get a delivery?if the phone does not work,it should be disconnected rather than continuing to possess the number.it is just a way to waste the government's money,which is actually our money.

                        I am sailing in the same boat - as i have been trying to coatact the same agency for past 10 days & my working hours restrict me from personally going to the agency to book the gas.

                        Phone numbers i tried:[protected] silence
                        [protected] silence
                        [protected] lucky - as it rang several times.. but .. the story proceeds as .....

                        The interesting thing that i noticed is that the agency people do not want to take the calls intentially as i got the line for 4-5 times at differnt occassions - the phone rang & kept on ringing untill it got disconnected it self & the call immediatly after such call came engaged as if the phone has been kept held intentially.

                        Now this is how the system in our country works - will the authorities please take a note..
                        I am agree with this complaint. I tried these numbers many time but they didnt pick the numbers. 26012540 luckily rang but nobody pick the phone.

                        I have been trying the Telephone no. of HP gas agency South Delhi Sheikh Sarai Phone numbers[protected], 26012540 for last one month but i have not been able to get connected. I have also book the gas on computersied 1716 more than 10 time but i have not been able to get the refill done till today. I am in disgusted situation kindly help
                        Facing similar problem. Unable to get in touch with them on all the three numbers mentioned. Office hours restrict me from visiting the agency personally. Please suggest a way out.

                        I have physically noticed that the South Delhi Gas agency has fixed a foot operated switch connected to the telephone that can be manipulated at their will. If you go in their office and complain them that the phone is not reachable, they ask you to call from your mobile and to your surprise the telephone bell rings.
                        Again if you try from home the number is busy or you can reach them incase they forget to switch of the foot switch, try in the morning or late night when the office is closed the phone always rings.

                          Don't pick up phones, Delay in refill

                          Of all the products and companies that I have dealt with in my life. I have found HP Gas (Ajith Enterprises, Jeffriguda, Mehdipatnam) to be the worst and the most pathetic of all of them. They would put all the other government departments to shame in their patheticness. All the other governmental departments should bow down to their high handedness and their sadistic pleasure in witnessing the plight of their customers. the complete details...

                          This has reference to above subject that I am a resident of Jahangirpuri(H-1/199 jahangir puri Delhi 110033 has been seeking a new Gas connection for my domestic purpose. My area comes under M/s Smrity Gas Agensy Dealer in the name of Mrs. Kaushalya Devi. I have been misguided by the concerned Dealer due to non-avaolability of new connections.

                            Hi,

                            I am trying to get a new connection from HP Gas Agency in Pune namely M/s. Pratap Gas Agency. First they insisted to buy a new stove from them. Then they sent one person for inspection and looking at the stove in my home they said you already have a connection.

                            As per a ruling by MRTPC (Monopolies and Restrictive Trade Practices Commission) these agencies or LPG distributing companies can not force the customers to buy a new stove from them. But these guys seem to be so confident that nothing will happen to them if they contnue to harass us like this.

                            Even if we pressure them to provide the new connection, I am sure they will not send the refill cylinders before making sure that we are harassed for at least 2 weeks each time.

                            I visited several time at your distributor (PalamVihar, Gurgaon) shop from 11/12/2007.
                            Yet I don't have any cylinder.
                            I shifted here from Patna where I lived in joint family. So I don't have any gas connection. I am facing alot of problem.
                            Kindly do something, and provide me Gas Cylinder as early as possible.

As on today I could't get my additional cylinder connection. Please clarify that how may connections have given by the distributor from 25.9.2006 to till date.                             It is clear that there are countless complaints against your partners in different parts of the country but its seems there are no proper action taken against them from your end. Don't you carea bout your valued customers and take heed on their cry? As per my own experience, the HP Gas agencies (your partners) in many places behave like kings for they have the ability to reject the need and request of the customers.                               We have two HP gas connections in our house and have been booking the gas from HP dealer, Smruti Gas Agency, Forest park, Bhubaneswar. The service provided by the said agency is quite shoddy and they never give proper information. Although we agree with the company rules the behaviour of the staff is extremely rude and offenssive. They are simply not bothered that they are service providers and make the consumers feel as if they are doing them a favour. The phone is most of times off the hook and different staff give different information. Kindly look into it.

                              The above informations are correct. I personally approached Mr.Satis Kadur, looking after the consumer service in his office at Alok Bharati for similar problem. Now he has shifted his office to Jatni for which, it is also difficult to lodge complaint personally. For abnormal delay, I had to contact Mr. Satis Kadur over his Mobile No.[protected]. It is also a sad affair that Mr. Kadur also ignore to receive the Call.
                              With much difficulty, I booked for a cylinder on 23.1.08 with Booking No.11633. Till today I have not received the Gas. For last 4 days their staff gives false information like 'gas will reach today'.
                              The staff don't accept booking before 15days of receipt of a cylinder. I have got double cylinder and one cylinder takes 20 days for my domestic use. I had to depend on heater atleast for 4/5 days every month. I find no use of having double cylinder of HP Gas. I feel to apply Indane Gas for a connection as an alternative arrangement.

                              I do agree with the nature of complaints agaonst H.P Gas Dealer and the un caring attitude of theis Staff. Particularly when a festival season approaches this problem increses further. The Dealer take a flat time of 15 days or more for supply to be available.We all know obvious reason, i.e If all Chatt Wala, and Hotels, Gup Chup Wala are to be supplied with same Cylinder then where from they will supply us.The recent Central Govt guideline to make available supply within 6 days is simple an eye wash. What I suggest for the reday solution for all consumers to form a Domestic Gas consumer association and lauch a massive offecne against the unruly dealers.
                              rEFILLING GAS CYLINDER IS NOT SUPPLIED IN TIME THOUGH BOOKED ON DT.16.9.2008 AGAINST CONSUMER NO. A 19393. hOPE TO SUPPLY THE SAME TODAY IT SELF TO SAVE A FAMILY FROM STARVETION.

                              Whatever views expressed by the consumer is fully correct and especially the the service as well as behaviour is extremely poor. What I can infer from the situation as if lawlessness is prevailing as far as these service provider is concerned and further to it I suspect there is a vicious circle among the staffs of service provider and the HP Company.
                              The attitude of Staff of smruti gas is extremely bad. they dont care about customers. I think if this will happen for a long period of time people will definitly change the the service provider i mean people will change To any other service like indane or anyother.
                              Everytime we are booking for a Gas Cyllinder, it takes at least more than 10 days for delivery. This time we have booked a gas on 14th of Oct 10 and its 1st November that we have not received the delivery. Any time we do query for the same, we get only one answer, " it will be late ".                               I fully agree with you all and your statements about their service and behaviour of staff.
                              For booking gas with Smruti Gas over telephone you need minimum 3 hours free time. You will get the Phone numbers continuously engaged. Luckily if you get the number connected after continuous engage, it will be a no answer call.

                              Further, If fortunately, your call is responded, they will keep the phone leaving you in half way without responding to your call fully as if they dont have time to talk with you and thinking that they are doing mercy to you by just responding to your call.

                              I have book HP domestic Gas on 03.06.2011 with your Dealer at Salipur, dist. Cuttack. My consumer No. is 602955. Every time the dealer delayed more than one month to issue me Gas after booking date. This time also they have repeated the same.                               I had an annoying experience with Smriti Gas agency at Bhubaneswar.
                              I am a journalist with Orissa Post/ Dharitri, Bhubaneswar. Am residing in Jharpada, Plot no 1055, in a rented house belonging to Lingaraj Hali, in front of Haanuman Mandir, Bhubaneswar.
                              I booked for gas refill through SMS on June 28, 2012. On July 17, 2012, I was informed that my gas would be delivered in 48 hours (Refer my booking no 240157, cash memo 148879 dated July 16, 2012). Till July 21, I was waiting for delivery, but it did not happen. In the evening, I was shocked by an SMS that my booking was cancelled. The reasons I do not know till now. Because the message came to me Saturday evening. The next day is Sunday. When I called Smriti gas no one responded, obviously.
                              This is how they treat the customers!

                                I have transferred from the Delhi, I have contatcted many time to my HP Lpg cylinder distributors but they make no any response by saying that next time. Since August 2006 to till now I am compailed to registerred the complain. Kindly make necessary arrangemet to provide me double cylinder facility. I am facing much problem keeping one cylinder connection.

                                  I am a Brigadier of the Indian Army presently posted at Army Headquarters. I came on posting to Delhi from Udhampur ( J&K)in Dec 2006. Before moving on posting to Delhi, I got my gas connection transferred to Delhi. Having come to Delhi, I was staying in the Mess as I did not get married acoomodation. I have now been alloted married accomodation and I wanted my gas connection. I presented my gas transfer certificate to the agency. They told me that the transfer certificate is of Dec 06, and that the validity of the certificate is one year and the validity date now needs to be extended. Please advice how I can get the transfer certificate date extended so that I can get my gas connection as soon as possible.

                                  I am from Sambalpur, Orissa having consumer number 605796 like lodges the following compliant against poor service in supplying of refilling gas cylinders by your dealer in my area. That before some months company has terminated dealership of one dealer named 'SAMALESWARI GAS' and deputed other dealer named 'TARINI GAS' to serve gas to the consumers. In the total town only one dealer is serving (to his own consumer and to the consumer of SAMLESWARI GAS). As a result of which consumers are facing many difficulties to get refilled cylinders. Dealer Tarini Gas is neither taking booking over tele phone nor supplying at home delivery. I am facing so many difficulties to get refilled cylinders in time though my job is a touring job. I have to go to Tarini Gas which is 5 kms distance from my residence for booking of a refilling cylinder and then have to inquire several times about availability of the same. On the day of delivery I have to stand in line for at least 2-3 hours to get refilled cylinders. I want to ask you sir is it the procedure of customer service of your company or is it rules provided by govt. of India.                                   Your agency Pelican Gas Service, Mayur Vihar never picks up the phone for the booking of gas.
                                  I am trying their telphone no since 15days for the booking but nobody is picking up the phone.

                                  I have three telephone no, one mobile no [protected] is switched off and other two no[protected],[protected] nobody picking up the phone.

                                  So request you to please ask your agency to attend the customer call for the booking rather fooling the customer or elese please cancel the agency and give it to other party if the pelican gas agency is unable to handle.

                                  After writing the complaint, somebody from pelican gas agency called up and taken the booking. I am requesting pelican gas agency that please distribute the contact no where customer can book their gas silinder without fail.

                                  I purchase petrol Rs 500/- today and ask for bill, at that seller said that I have to go office to take bill. Billing facility is not available near pump.

                                    Dear Sir,

                                    This has reference to unfair and restricted trade practices adopted by the different gas agencies of district – Sikar, State - Rajasthan. News to this effect are published from time to time in different news papers. Indifferent attitude of the district administration towards the public grievances and their inaction further encourage them to indulge in such activities.

                                    1. The agencies force consumers to buy rubber tube, tea, rice and such other products from them to get a gas refill. They do not book gas refill, refuse to issue coupons or do not supply refill to the customers who do not submit to their pressure.

                                    2. As per information available on the website of Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas a customer is entitled to a mandatory inspection of gas installation against a fee of Rs. 10 by a trained mechanic. The gas distributors are charging Rs. 40 as mandatory inspection fee without providing any service. Thus they are not only overcharging Rs. 30 in each case but also usurping the entire amount by not providing any service.

                                    3. Gas cylinders are freely transported by the delivery men of the agencies in different parts of the city on bicycle, thus endangering public safety in gross violation of cylinder rules 2004.

                                    Please ensure that the provisions of different Laws, Rules and Regulations in this regard are strictly reinforced.

                                      It is to make a regrous complaint against the HP Gas distributor in Faridabad i.e. M/s. Sumit Enreprises, Shop No.188, Main Market, Sector-7A, Faridabad[protected]/2)240555.
                                      There is no system of booking viz delivery of the gas cylinders as well as the Front Desk People treat in worst kind of behaviour.

                                      We would request you to address this issue with proper department/divion and kindly let us know the way out of this to teach them a lesson and to get value for our money as well as the human respect that one expect from other.

                                      HP Gas M/s Sumit are exhibited their own on the consumers
                                      it is up to their will whether they will issue cylinder (consumer having two cylinder one official n other un-official) instead to adhering one strick rule. if they please their staff they get un-official too. i have seen them near Carmel convent school while they were transfering illegal gas transfer to their personal culinder.
