[Resolved] Homeshop18.com — Received incorrect model and homeshop18 is not replacing it | |||
On May-20th (2014), I ordered "Godrej Security Solutions Ceres Coffer V1 Grey Security Locker" from homeshop18.com as it provided good 10% discount with free shipping. I was pleased with the deal while I placed my order. However my bad experience started right from the shipment. Initially website (and email from homeshop18) said product will be delivered by May-23rd, but eventually it came on May-27th (4 days of delay without any delay indication from homeshop18 -- we kept waiting at home for the delivery). To make situation worse, when I opened the package on the same day evening, I found the locker model is totally different, I got "Godrej Security Solutions Ceres Coffer Security Locker" (note "V1 Grey" in the model name I had ordered). I immediately called homeshop18 who were quite polite and told me that it will be replaced without any issue. It was May-27th when I first made call to homeshop18 and today is Jun-5th, even after making almost daily calls to them, I see no progress on this replacement. I even offered to keep this model, but as this model is cheaper in price that what I ordered for and paid, I requested to refund the difference amount. That too isn't taking any progress. It's just a nightmare experience for me. Certainly my last order with homeshop18 ... Was this information helpful? | |||

Just wanted to close this thread ... finally I had made a deal with Homeshop18 that I'll keep the incorrect model and request Homeshop18 to refund the difference amount. At least this worked out well ... I received the difference amount cheque within a week.
