[Resolved] Homeshop18.com — Wrong product delivered-No replacement-No refund-No response | |||
Sir/Madam, I placed an order for TCX Men's Quilt Jacket with Fur Brown (Size:XXL) on Oct.7th 2013 vide Order No.[protected] and sub order No. 64366873 by making payment of Rs.999.00 through net banking. I received the order on Oct.10th 2013 but I was shocked to find that wrong product with wrong colour and wrong size was sent to me. I immediately registered a complaint vide Ticket #88106529 on Oct.11th 2013 and I got a response saying that the product will be replaced with the correct product within short time. I have been following with the merchant for replacement since one month and kept on sending reminders vide tickets as per the details given below: Details of tickets: 89552677 Friday, November 1, 2013 89197671 Monday, October 28, 2013 89197861 Monday, October 28, 2013 88980841 Friday, October 25, 2013 88648109 Saturday, October 19, 2013 88607545 Saturday, October 19, 2013 These are the tickets registered so far but there was no proper reply or response from the supplier. In addition I have sent so many mails and even spoke to Customer Care over phone but there was no proper action or proper assurance on the replacement. They kept on informing that they are looking into the complaint and the same will be sorted out within 2-3 days. But nothing was done till now. Now I request you to do the needful in getting my correct order otherwise my money may please be refund back to me after cancellation of my order. Regret the inconvenience caused.
We are arranging for the product to be picked up, same will be done within 72 working hours.
Once the product is picked up refund will be processed accordingly.

This clearly shows the sorry state of affairs in homeshop18.com which is very unfortunate. This should have been done long back and I don't know why these people have kept on procrastinating keeping me in dark about the replacement or refund. Let them add the interest and other costs/damages which include my precious time lost in waiting and raising one complaint after the other to the refund. This is absolutely unfair, unacceptable and this is nothing short of cheating the customers.
Already more than 24 hrs gone. Still there is no action from these people. Heights of indifference towards customers. They don't even care. This is atrocious.Even I called and spoke to the Customer Care yesterday i.e., on 6th at about 7 p.m. who expressed his 'kshama' (they can't talk English) and assured me the quickest resolution of my entire grievance and even promised me that he will arrange a call back from this superior officer or Executive today (07.11.2013) by 11 a.m. (The complaint No.is 89855651 dated 06.11.2013 @ 6.56 p.m). As usual nothing happened. No call back. No response. Again No Action.These people have become so insensitive to customers complaints or queries they just make false promises and give fake assurances whenever they are confronted with a complaint or grievance.That's all. When the whole site is a fake...How can we expect the people working in such an insensitive company to be forthright and compassionate? They just don't care for customers. This is what I can conclude from the experience I got from this whole transaction. Absolutely ridiculous!!!
I received a message on Oct.8th 2013 that refund of my amount will be processed and sent to me in 5 working days. Let me see how fast they are going to send the refund. I want the interest and other damages to be added to this refund amount otherwise this is not acceptable. They should have done this much earlier so that my time, energy and money would have been saved.

This should be a lesson to all those who get deceived by lavish ads on tv and other media. Beware of this shopping site!
I don't know what to do now after losing my money as still there is no response from homeshop18.com even after making this complaint. Please let me know the future course of action I have to take.
