[Resolved] Homeshop18 — fraud callers data sharing | |||||
Hi, I have ordered product from homeshop18 on 22nd jan 2018. On 23 i received a call & message from homeshop18 that, i have won tata safari. They confirmed the order details & my address on call. They have asked for registration charges of rs.6500/-. This is quite surprising how they came to know my order details & my contact details (Address also). I know this is fraud call. Is homeshop18 transferring our date to fraud callers to fraud with customers. I will complain about this to consumer forum & police if necessary. We would like to assure you that Homeshop18 does not share any personal or account related information identifying a customer, with any person/s or agencies. Homeshop18 never asks customers to deposit money into any personal or individual account and if TDS has to be paid it only needs to be paid into Company’s official account through DD or Cheque in favour of "TV18 Home Shopping Network Ltd.”.If you continue to receive fraud emails and letters or calls, you may lodge an FIR either with the Police or Cyber cell.
