[Resolved] Homeshop18 — personal details misuse | |||
Homeshop18 — fraud money through lucky draw.. Does not take action I ordered an item through tv shopping in homeshop18. They gave me my order no. Through sms. Next day i got message in my mobile from registered domain name of homeshop18 that we won 1280000/- rupees lucky draw coupon by homeshop18. Again they call us by using a customer care number [protected] and addressed himself as the manager of the channel and confirm us that we won. They called us again and again... They knew all our details.. Even the order number, product id, what product we ordered, our name, location etc... They gave us an a/c and provoked us to credit 12600/- as the charges of prize (Called it as gst charges).. And asked for my a/c number.. I know this one is fraud. I didn't give away any money. When i refuse it they start using abusive language. Kindly look into it asap. Else have to file complaint about you in police. I can even give you those two nos. Was this information helpful? | |||

Homeshop18 never asks customers to deposit money into any personal or individual account and if TDS has to be paid it only needs to be paid into Company’s official account through DD or Cheque in favour of "TV18 Home Shopping Network Ltd.”.If you continue to receive fraud emails and letters or calls, you may lodge an FIR either with the Police or Cyber cell.
