[Resolved]  Homeshop18 — worst retailer in india - refused to refund for faulty product

Homeshop18 should simply get out of the retail business before someone buys them out and adopts their pathetic workforce. A company such as this won't even last a day in a country like US, but sadly in India, it's chalta hai. My father sadly made the first and last mistake of buying something from them, which was delivered (shirts) in completely wrong sizes. I called them to request for a refund upon which they said you must ship the product back at XYZ address. My father who is 72 - went out and shipped the product back and we called them to inform of this. After a few days, we received the package back REJECTED by the recipient. I called their customer service again and the rep said "oh we gave you a wrong address, please ship to ABC address". They simply refused to entertain any further requests in a very rude manner. My father went out again and shipped it a second time and this time the package did not come back. As advised by their genius customer service rep, I emailed them both the receipts (Speed Post) asking for a refund. After the promised deadline of refund passed - I called them for a 4th time asking for a status update. This time a manager told me that we can't track the package you sent so we can't give you any refund. I was simply appalled at this horrible attitude and simply couldn't believe my ears that I'd lost all the money after shipping back the product twice because THEY gave me the WRONG address. And for all I know the product was received by whatever shady vendor they're using. It's appalling to see what kind of people these companies are hiring as CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGERS who are not even qualified for a CSR's position. The Manager's name was Rinku and I hope (but doubt) that someone from their team reads this note and improves their pathetic attitude. I am going to file a DISPUTE with my credit card company and have blacklisted Homeshop18 and ask everyone to avoid it like PLAGUE. -Gautam Dhar Order #[protected]

If you take time to connect with your CSR team, and actually *READ* my comment above instead of Auto_Responding, you will realize that:

-I have already shipped the product back to your warehouse, TWICE - after it was sent back and rejected by the recipient at the address it was shipped to (provided by your CSR). Second time after I shipped it, it did not return to me

-I have already sent both the receipts (scanned copies) to your CSR team at [protected]@homeshop18.com on 9-April-2014. Both the receipts of Speed Post (#1 for shipment that was returned to me and #2 for the shipment that did not return to me) are uploaded here:

Please stop making empty promises and misleading consumer boards. There has been no refund after 2 weeks of your comment. HomeShop18 will not even survive a day in the Global retail market outside India.
Simply pathetic.
Just wanted to say my thanks to HomeShop18 for proving that they are the WORST ONLINE retailer in India. After sending their email to refund me, they have simply ignored all requests and NOT RESPONDED to my emails or calls.

Good luck to whoever decides to buy from these cheats.
