Abnormal sound coming from bike after 1st servicing

1. When the complaint was registered?
Ans- 2 months back ( July )
2. What was the complaint?
Ans - Abnormal sound from bike
3. When the service centre took action?
Ans - After raising complaint to Honda on 18/07/2022. till then bike was at service centre around 15 days
4. Why they wanted to change the muffler/silencer?
Ans - Due to abnormal sound.
5. Why there was an abnormal sound?
Ans - Manufacturing defect. ( As per technician)
6. Did they claim the part under warranty?
Ans. Yes
7. Was there any damage found on vehicle during claim ?
Ans. No
So, basically its was an manufacturing defect which need to be resolved by the service centre.
1. Did they do any call, message or email after the arrival of part? If yes ask them to show the proof
Ans - No
2. When the vehicle was given to changed the part there was any damage?
Ans - Yes, a small dent at the end of the silencer.
3. Does the abnormal sound coming because of the dent?
Ans. No, the sound was noticed/observed 2 months back.
So, now they are asking to claim for insurance for manufacturing defect.
I request Honda team to please check and investigate the issue strictly and consider the above mentioned points.
I hope Honda will revert back to me positively.
