My complaint is against Authorized dealer of honda "Preetam honda"I bought a petrol tank in Aug'2018 from "Preetam honda" Andheri east. it's just been 1.5 years and the tank is completely rusted from inside. Since I couldn't believe this fact that in spite of Taking good care and timely maintenance and regular use. how it is possible that a genuine product could be so bad in quality and would rust so badly. With an hope to have proper investigation upon the same, I went to preetam honda with a compliant and provided a invoice copy of purchase.
In response, they adamantly said, Now a days petrol quality has become poor and it's causing the damage internally. we/Honda will not be able to take any blame for it and it's not in a warranty, Part's don't have single day warranty, You need to buy a new tank. whereas as per my knowledge A basic diffrence in buying a product is Autorized dealer sell genuine product which generally has a warranty abided to it unlike any local shopkeeper and to my surprise In there own reader manual they is a point "Any part will be covered under warranty for 24 month". I was wondering, I myself a customer of Honda since 2013, never experienced such incident ever before then how come this tank was so vulnerable. I doubted upon the genuinity of product and urged to the dealer to provide an assurance that a product they sold be me is Genuine or not.
In response they refused to perform any checks. they become worse with their behavior which led me to leave a bike there itself and I moved with an dialogue "I'll not take away my Honda CB trigger bike from here until I don't get and proper resolution". All this happened on 1st Jan 2020 and today it's almost 11 days and I haven't heard anything upon it. they are not at all bothered to look at the issue there service people are un-resposnive. Meanwhile, I reach out to customer care but even they are not helpful(Ticket no 1-[protected], Ticket no 1-[protected] raised and closed within 24hour without even inform me or provide any resolution). I am feeling helpless at this moment. Somehow I Had to raise this issue with cosumer forum and so I am here to inform you this. I have attached all the required supporting to support my issue's(Pics and Invoice copy) I hope my issue will be heard and correct resolution will be provided. Till the my bike will be lying un-addressed and un-recognised condition.My contact no is [protected].
