I own a Honda Activa 125 scooter, which I purchased in my hometown in October 2022. I have now relocated to Mayiladuthurai and have been living here for about one and a half years. For servicing, I have been using a nearby showroom called Bawa Showroom. So far, I have given my vehicle there for three services.
Unfortunately, my experience has been very poor. Whenever I report specific complaints, they are neither properly noted nor resolved. Every time I leave my vehicle, they only perform basic general service and oil change, ignoring all other issues. Even for this basic service, they take one to two days to deliver the vehicle. When asked, they usually respond that there is a high workload.
Despite repeatedly mentioning several issues, none of them have been fixed. During my most recent visit, I clearly reported problems such as tight steering and brake issues and requested them to be resolved. However, no one properly attended to my concerns. After two days, when I went to collect my vehicle, I found that only the oil service had been done, and none of the reported issues were addressed. Even at the time of delivery, no one explained the service or checked the vehicle with me.
Previously, in other service centers, staff would test ride the vehicle and identify issues themselves. But here, nothing like that happens. Even the complaints I report are ignored.
Recently, after this service, I was traveling at night from my hometown back to Mayiladuthurai. Around 11 PM to 2 AM, my vehicle suddenly broke down. When I approached a local mechanic, he found that the oil filter had not been changed during service. This is extremely disappointing, especially considering I was charged around ?1500 for a general service.
This kind of negligence is unacceptable. If a serious incident had occurred at that time, the consequences could have been severe. I was fortunate to find a mechanic nearby, otherwise it could have been a major problem.
So far, I have not even received a single follow-up or service feedback call. This entire experience has caused me significant stress and dissatisfaction. I do not know how to proceed, but I expect this issue to be addressed and resolved immediately. I will definitely escalate this matter further.”
