HP India — Defective Laptop and Deficiency in services

Dear Sir,

Sub: Defective Laptop and Deficiency in services.

I have purchased a Laptop on 1st Feb 2020 from HP’s Authorized Centre (K.P.Infotech Jail Road New Delhi -110064) My Laptop was not performing as said by your team from the first day and I informed this to Mr. Mukesh sales person at K.P Infotech. He asked me to use it for few more days and if still not satisfied then HP has policy of replacing the piece after all checks. Respecting his words, I used the laptop for few more days but problem remained the same.

Then sudden this lockdown happened and I still called again to Mr. Mukesh and he again assured me that I don't need to worry once the lockdown opens, he will help and solve my issue.

Meanwhile I also complain on HP’s whatapp number on 12th April 2020 and they took all the information of laptop from my side, since I was not carrying my laptop with me at that time, they assured me call back. On 23rd April 2020 they did some trouble shooting on my laptop and found that yes there is an issue with laptop keypad so they themselves file a complaint and told me that their executive will call me after lockdown and resolve the issue.

Then I received an Email on 24th April 2020 with my complaint id mentioned ([protected]) and saying issue will be resolved soon.

I got the call from HP support on 6th May 2020 number[protected] stating that Engineer will call and resolve the issue.

After waiting for whole day, I mailed to HP on 7th May 2020 that lockdown is Over in Delhi so resolve my Issue Asap as it was already so late but there was no response from HP’s side.

Again, sent a reminder mail on 11th May 2020 to HP and got an auto response of receiving only.

On 13th May 2020 I called Mr. Amarjeet Yadav ( Mob: [protected], Manager I HP Operation, TVS Electronics Ltd ), after detailed conversation he assured me to get my Issue resolved by his Engineer and soon after I got call from an engineer by the name of Mr. Satvinder Singh stating that he will be coming to check the laptop next day i.e.14th may 2020.

On 14th May 2020 Mr Satvinder Came with a keyboard to change my laptops keyboard, Although I was hesitant for this as believing fittings might not be as good as a new laptop but still I said yes for this knowing that HP has policy of replacing laptop if not working properly. I got another shock by Mr. Satvinder Singh (Engineer) after opening whole of my laptops keyboard that the keyboard he bought was not fitting to my laptop (to be precise it was a wrong part sent by the company) after all this battle he again fixed my laptop with my own keyboard and suddenly there comes another problem of some wire not fitting properly he again opened whole keyboard and try fixing it again. He called Mr Amarjeet Ydav from my place and informed him, about the wrong spare part sent, Mr Yadav assured that he will arrange the correct spare part ad get it fix soon.

After wating for more then a week on 25th May 2020 I Called Mr. Amarjeet Yadav and he was still not able to give me satisfactory reply. He only kept on saying that will check and let me know about when the spare part will be arranged.

On 26th May 2020, I again mailed to HP but got no response. Same Day I again Call Mr. Amarjeet Yadav and he was again trying on convincing me to get my issue resolved by next day for sure.

On 27th May 2020 I again Called Mr. Amarjeet Yadav and he took Mr Satvinder singh on con call and assured me that he will come with correct spare part tomorrow.

On 28th May 2020 fooling me again there was no call or information of coming of engineer Mr. Satvinder Singh to my place after waiting for quite long I called him and got another surprise that he still doesn’t have the correct part of my laptop.

Then 30th May 2020 I got the email from HP that my case has close (Ref : Case Number [protected]: Your Case Has Been Closed CRM:[protected]

HP is getting on my nerve’s now and trying my patience hard from last 4 month I face the total harassment and false promises from a Brand like HP.

After Paying such a big amount I only got harassment. After sales service is at the worst.

Kindly request you please help and solve the issue on urgent basis.
