[Resolved] HP India — faulty mother board in newly purchased laptop | |
I bought a HP Pavilion 15- p 077 TX NB PC just about a month back. From the very beginning the USB ports on the LEFT side (Motherboard side) were non functional. I registered a complaint on line under case ref No -[protected]. The engineer reported on 11 Dec 14. On examination the on site engineer has reported that the problem lies with the motherboard. Also, while the laptop was being opened by him the body case has developed a crack which was not there earlier. The same has been indicated in the service call report by me.
Since, the laptop is brand new and has not been used at all. Major defect in the machine which requires a change of motherboard is not acceptable under any circumstances.
I expect the company will appreciate the problem empathetically and replace the product on immediate basis. Trusting the company's credentials, I have even taken an additional two years warranty too.
