I bought this premium laptop for a premium price of Rs.80, 000 less than two years ago. Around 3 months ago, while closing the laptop display, the hinge got stuck internally (without any manual intervention) due to which the screen got separated from the body (The official HP Center service executive confirmed that it is product's manufacturing defect). Upon going to the official HP service center, the laptop was repaired and given back after 2 weeks on payment of approximately Rs.12, 000 for the repair.
Just in about 1-1.5 months of receiving the laptop, I observed overheating issues. The keyboard, touch pad and base of the laptop become too hot to even touch and sometimes gave a burnt smell and eventually the laptop abruptly shut down with an Error message on the screen "Hard disk not found 3F0"
After paying such hefty amounts for the laptop and repair (nearly 1 lakh Rs.80, 000 + Rs.12, 000), the laptop lasted hardly for 2 years. As the product is now past warranty period, HP is unwilling to help with the issue. I seriously condemn the low quality offered by HP even with premium products like this one and their irresponsible and exploitative attitude towards customers by being unresponsive and unwilling to listen to the grievances.
I strictly demand for a full refund or replacement for the product from HP and request Consumer forum to provide me a reasonable resolution to the problem. Was this information helpful? |
