Thanks for the chinese sentiments in india. On july 21st 2020, unfortunately i had to get acquainted with a company known as hp computers, which is so pathetic as far as after sales service is concerned.
I had a 3 year old lenovo, and lenovo were too good with their after sales service. When i ordered a hp desk top, i was surprised that on the box itself it was mentioned, that it is manufactured in china. After that, their maintenance contract date was the date from the date of manufacture which was mar 2021, and not the date of delivery (21st of july 2020) 0. When i contacted their help desk, they asked me for so many documents for a product which was sold by them. Can you beat after giving all the details, the company which sells me a pc does not have an invoice in their records. Ultimately i had to convert document into a pdf, and and then send it thru their wa help desk.
Their wa help desk service is so poor, we have to wait for such a long time. When we do not give them a response, they disconnect and the other person asks the same set of questions which which we have already responded earlier. I feel they work like bots and not humans.
Ultimately i regreted having placed an order with a high handed, sop driven american computer company.
My caution to all indians. Chinese sentiments are very valid, but you should not end paying 40% more for an american product, which is 100% manufactured in china, and their after sales service is pathetic. Was this information helpful? |
