I had purchased HP15-D004TU Laptop (Sr. No. 5CB4052TY1 in July 2014 at Patna under 3 years extended warranty. Presently I am on an assignment at Shimla. Today (1/4/2017) I contacted your Customer Care No.[protected] and[protected] for registering a complaint and could know that my warranty coverage as per their record is upto May 2017. I said that it should be upto July 2017 as I purchased it in July 2014. On this I was told that since there is confusion on date, we are unable to book the complaint unless the purchase bill is produced. I said I am out of Patna and is not carrying the bills and will be possible only when I go to Patna. I was really shocked to have such a bad experience from your officials and never expected such treatment from a reputable firm like HP. Earlier also I booked complaint but failed to get the support timely and had to get the problem rectified from other source. In such situation I find your warranty coverage is useless and customers are being cheated. For my inconvenience and loss due to not attending the problem timely I put your company responsible and may take up the matter with other appropriate authorities if required.
