I had purchased a HP Laptop 15"11th gen intel core 13 processor 15.6 win10 ms/silver- 15s - fr2006TU with serial no. 5CD1161T6Q on 19.07.2021 via amazon.in
Post 2 months usage the was a white light bleeding on the screen on the top and bottom. The white light is clearly visable and hence I raised a complaint to the Hp customer support unit 19.10.2021 with case id [protected].
They sent me two mails asking for details and screenshot and video of the issue and I attached all documents and photos as requested. I got no response hence i called the technical unit for update. They informed me that the video was not visible and hence suggested me to take the laptop to the authorised walkin center at T.Nagar chennai.
on 28.10.2021 i visited the center and the agent checked the laptop and said there is no psysical damage on the laptop and he ran few tests on the issue and confirmed there is not problem with it. whereas the white light is still visible and he said to check with CS since he was not able to view the case id since it was closed.
I again called the CS unit to check and they said the case id was closed and they will arrange a call back from the manager to resolve the issue. I received no calls till now.
Why should i accept a laptop which a technical problem and they are just offering me to go ahead for a service to change the screen? why should i do that since there is no damage from my end and within 2 months if the screen has to be replaced what is the use of it being new? will it not have further issues in the future?
I want the system replace with a new one. Despite my financial issues i went ahead to buy the best laptop for Rs.45490/- and this is not a small amount in the Covid days.
Request you to address my grievance and have my laptop replaced.
