HTC — Pathetic After Sales Service & Bad Quality of Screen Glass

On 9th May 2015, I purchased a brand new HTC 816 G from a HTC dealer in Select City Walk, Delhi. As shown in few YouTube videos that they make their phone with finest quality and use one of the best quality Glasses which makes their Phone Glass and Display unbreakable unless and until, it can be hammered to break those Phone Glass. But even after using a Fibre Glass to protect the screen, my phone fell from a very small height of only 1 mtr, the glass got broken which shows how good their screen quality is and how good quality of glass HTC use. Now, the best part is AFTER SALES SERVICE. When I went to their Service Station on 21st July 2015, they claimed that since its a physical damage, they wont cover this breakage in warranty and asked me to pay Rs 5200 to change the display and screen to which I had not choice then to agree to it as after all, I made a mistake of selecting HTC 816 G phone. Even after that, TVS Electronics Ltd, Unit No 105, 1st floor, DLF Grand Mall, ( Near Sikandarpur Metro Station), Gurgaon Mahrauli Road City Phase II, Gurgaon -122001 (http://www.htc.com/in/support/service-center.html) who call themselves EXPRESS Service Centre, told me that due to shortage of Display and Screen of HTC 816, they need 3 days time to get it fixed i.e. by 23rd July 2015. Till date, I have not received from Handset and they have been asking me to wait for more 5-8 business days which is really most pathetic kind of service I have ever seen. I don't think I would recommend anyone to buy HTC phone after experiencing this kind of one of the worst services to anyone. Regards Bhaumik Sharma [protected]@gmail.com
