HTC — Pathetic service and response. No accountability. | |||
I purchased an HTC Desire 820 Dual Sim worth INR 24500 ON 23rd March 2015. Unfortunately the mobile started giving problems immediately after usage of 3 months. The problem was with the battery getting drained and mobile getting switched off when it reached 50%. The handset was also getting hot when used for various applications. I tried to manage but the problems were aggravating and hence I decided to take some time from my busy schedule and went to the Malad service center to seek their help and submitted my mobile on 13th August with them. They took 8 days and handed over the phone to me on 21st Aug stating the phone is repaired. Unfortunately the same problem still persist without any improvement. I have no option but to take that Mobile back to them, wait for 8to 10 days to get the problem rectified and hope they rectify it thistime. Inshort a very frustrating experience as you loose all your data during the transfer of handsets. The team siiting in the service center takes no accountability. They are very reluctant even to help you remove the sim or reinstall it in another HTC handset. Can some one assist me in knowing if I can reach some responsible person in HTC to resolve my issue or should I assume that partnering with HTC as a customer was my biggest mistake.
